Maybe the title is not self explanatory but in most iphone games eg you click the correct example and you see a +100 points mc appear and rise and alpha out. I did this with a png done in photoshop BUT not all goes well - it doesn't work.
[Code]...
It seens perfct but I can't see it work. The funny thing is that the custom currentBubble - with a dot after you see the code hints but a dot after pb100 - you see no code hints. Well not normal.
my preloader bar isn't growing smoothly. it appears to jump from point to point -- and i want to make it smooth. you can see the example here at: [URL] would anyone mind taking a quick look at the file i've attached,
I have a flash video player in fla format. It reads lists of videos from xml file and plays them. Problem is, I need to add subtitles for each of videos I am playing. Subtitles can be in .txt or .xml format.. The subtitle code will read subtitles from xml or txt file and show subtitles onto video..
I want to create a subtitle for ourself language from lynda video training.(my language is persian)But it's very difficult work... I need somebody for create subtitle in english language... and this work very easier make subtitle to every language.let trying to create subtitle for this video ActionScript 3.0 in Flash Professional CS5 Essential Training
This is weird because I cannot see how a browser can have any affect on a SWF file animation. This SWF contains masking of images. The SWF appears perfectly in Safari, and for some strange reason, one of the three masks is not applied when viewing the SWF in IE (as if the image is 'released').
I have 4 shapes which fit into 4 boxes and would like to modify my code so when a shape is placed in the correct box a movie clip appears e.g. if a triangle is placed into a triangle shape the movieclip for triangle appears. if the shape is placed into the wrong box a message appears saying try again.
It's been a long time since I've done any work with actionscript, and alas I've forgotten nearly everything. I've tried to look for a tutorial that would explain basic animation with actionscript, but the one that I found on Kirupa was no longer there.
Basically I'd like to do this:On the stage I have a movieclip and I'd like the movieclip to move along the x-axis to a certain point and then back to the starting point again. The moving speed of the movieclip should also be adjustable.
are you able to scrub an mp3 sound with a slider bar? im looking through the Sound class but there appears to be no properties that would aid in that (like NetStream.time())
I've made a video scrubber for a couple of external F4Vs in my movie. I'm using 2 setIntervals for the scrub function: 1 to move my video playhead as the video plays, and 2 to seek to the correct video frame as the user drags the playhead.
This seems to be working ok. I wish it was a little bit more fluid in the scrub action, but I'll take what I can at this point.
But, one thing I'd like to work on is the audio hits during the video scrub. As the netstream seek is happening, the audio is hitting while I scrub. I'd like to temporarily kill the audio as I scrub, and then bring it back on at the MOUSE_UP.
I'm pretty sure that SoundMixer.stopAll(); will get rid of my audio, but what will make it come back?
I've been looking for a tutorial to create a timeline scrubber (not animating specific movie clips, but actually a scrubber that can move along different keyframes of a timeline that has a series of images on it).I found a bunch of these (scrubber controlling specific movie clips): http:[url]....but nothing that allows you to just scrub back and forth on the whole timeline in the exported swf.
I'm making a working scrubber on a video, but having problems. The scrub itself it starting out in the middle of the loadbar. I've looked everywhere, trying to find out what is wrong with it.
Okay so our current assignment in class is to create our own version of the jeremy levine design website. But I am currently stuck and have not gotten anywhere for the last 3 days that I have worked on it.
The problem is when I click on the box to go into the wood grain texture, I want to be able to click on the X box that appears in order to go back to frame 42 in the main timeline. (the x is currently only on the box with the 1 on it.)
I need to have scrub thumbs for video player load and unload repeatedly. Something isn't getting cleared. Every time the thumbs are removed, there's a slight increase in the cpu baseline - something is piling up in memory.
I'm currently working on a website design. The idea is a big chromakeyed interactive video in Flash. The size of the video is 1080 (width) x 1500 (height) pixels.I've exported the video in After Effects with the standard settings for flash (File>Export>Adobe Flash Player(SWF)). Now when I import the video in Flash and preview the file, the video plays in a slower speed and it's not playing smooth at all...Is the video too big? Is there a maximum video-size to keep the video running correct in Flash? Is it something else that causes this problem..?
i wanted to do a simple action that when you press a button a video appears, it's just that. But I don't have enough knowledge about flash and it's scripts.
While it comes close the following AS appears to often stop the video when there is about a second left. You can tell because the audio is not cut off & continues to play.[code]
I have four objects that when clicked needed to programatically arch back to one central point. at the moment I cna easily have them travel in a straight line, but I need all of them to rise a little (20px) as they travel to the left then drop to that centralized point.
I want to show the loading indicator that appears while playing an flv video online.. like the indicator of the downloaded part of movie that appears on
I tried to create simple animation from this Kirupa's tutorial My aim is to make a circle run from left to right and when it is almost to the edge it will move back to the origin point and it will loop only 3 times. So I came up with totally baby script like this:
[Code]...
But the MC is not move back to the original place. Sorry for not even finish the script for stop looping. Only tweak on play loop it make me very confused. My knowledge is quite in entry level but I eager to learn. Could you let me know what is wrong with the script?
I have a project where I am bringing in one video with a cue point at the very end with the name of "End." I'm trying to have the next video play when the first video reaches that cue point. I keep getting this error: 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MetadataEvent. Here is the relevant code I believe:
In my CS4 flash document I have created a media gallery. It's a very simple interface that has mouse overs on thumbnail pictures, and then the larger picture will fadeUP in the center of the document. (With use of framelabels in the timeline).
In the same document, I want the user to be able to click on a video thumbnail, and that video plays back in the center of the document. Several questions: If the user clicks on the thumbnail "onrelease," the time line goes to the player, is it possible to stream this video from a youtube clip into my media player on the screen? If not and I have the document in a fl4 format, is there a simple process to have this video open? (I currently do not have the document in fl4 format).
I have a cube built in papervision. It has a video on each side. I want the videos to be stopped at the beginning when it appears. I thought I could just use pause on the stream. ncStream2.pause(); no luck. When I do that I just get a black box. There is no black at the beginning of the videos. I do not think the papervision part is really a big deal. It's probably just a straight forward AS3 and video problem.
I have a function which contains some code and about half way through calls another function. Only problem is it stops the main function from running so the code following it snt executed. What I want to know is is there anyway to go back into the original function at the point at where I left and carry on executing? I've thought of one solution but its a bit long winded and I just wanted to know if there was a quick and easy method, before anyone asks the code needs to be in its current order.
I have MC masked with TEXT,when the user moves his mouse down more text appears from the bottom and when he moves it goes bakc to the original position...I do not want the mouse wheel .. I woudl like to do it by mouse hovering...
I got my LocalConnection to work, however its not triggering my video correct. Basically im clicking "topbanner_mc" in sender.swf and in receiver.swf it should trigger function "showVideo" - which it does.In function "showVideo" i'm running a NetStream .flv. The .flv never really starts to play. When I click the topbanner, it only plays the sound and shows the first frame for 1sec of the video and stops there. My code:
ActionScript Code: //SENDER.SWF var sender_txt = new LocalConnection();
I have a video gallery and some of my videos are in 4:3 ratio and some in 16:9 ratio. I have also a fullscreen function on my video player. The problem is on a screen with 16:9 ratio which most of us have, my 4:3 video's is stretched across the screen. They don't maintain their pixel aspect ratio.
