could anyone help me modify the code for these checkbox components? right now, the SUBMIT button checks which ones of the checkboxes are checked and gets their label, then writes the appropriate labels in a dynamic text box.[code]For the program I am doing, I need to have a maximum of 6 checkmarks and each one of the checked label must go into its own variable. (see gray part of the swf) I would also like the labels to appear in the right order, right now it's inversed.

when I try to play my slideshow I click play and it goes so fast you don't see a single pictue then it goes back to the first one?? I don't know how to really fix this? This is all the code it.

I want to make a picture gallery and use buttons that move you from picture to picture and backwards, but I don't want to tell button 1 to go to frame 2 and button 2 to got to frame 3 and so on (I hope you know what I mean)Can I use on button on a separate layer with the same action set? I tried something like that, but it didn't work:

I recently used the loadMovie action to load a .swf file to a target in the movie which it was being called from. Then I tried calling a picture to another target in the movie, but it did not load the picture as intended. I read about it on my book, but it didn't seem to work. Is there anyways on calling a picture into a target in the movie without placing the picture inside an swf file?

When i click the the green button i want the green image to fade in.. i fugured out a way to do this on the timeline, but then i have to have a black box first fading in to remove the old picture and then start fading in the new picture..

Everything went good so far.Now i'm trying make every picture go to a URL when the picture is clicked but only the link on the first frame goes to the URL when clicked the other 5 buttons do nothing when click.(FYI: I made alpha 0% buttons in a layer above pictures)I tried two different codes but both have no effect.

From there, you could assign a URL to this element. I'm trying to figure out how to do this in CS5, but I can't find any way of doing it without actions

To use this feature, you must target ActionScript 1.0-2.0." How can i do that? By the way, the variable textbox where you need to enter the variable name is gray. I can't write in it. assign a number value to an mc. So I'm done my early work on it and am ready to try and integrate this function. I'm making a small change game. So game is split into five scenes, each scene the person will receive a receipt. The person will have change in their hand (all canadian denominations). They have to look at the receipt and the change in their hand (both mcs), and figure out if its correct. If not they drag change from another pile and place it in the hand. So here's what I'm looking at trying to accomplish. I'd like to have a check change button (simple mc). I'm guessing that each coin needs a numeric value associated with it (no clue on if or how you could do this). If the numbers add up to the predetermined bill value (so I'm guessing I'd give that a numeric value as well), i hit the check button and it'll see if the change in the hand adds up to match what the bill should. So here's where my code sits currently, still tweaking as we speak. I'm still new so be gentle on my code I know its long.

quires the main page to fade to black and then load an .swf using .loadmovie. The swf begins with black and fades out to reveal a set of buttons. This should create a seamless fade-to-black and un-fade to the loaded swf.The problem is that there are multiple buttons presenting multiple choices on the main page, and I want each one, when clicked, to create a variable with a certian value corresponding to the button pressed. I want to use that variable in a switch statement to load the right .swf that corresponds to the button pressed on the main page.'m not sure if this is a syntax problem, flash seems to think my code is okayI put this on the first frame...
