ActionScript 3.0 :: Circular Movement - One Full Cycle?

What I want to do: I have an object on the stage that moves in a circular manner. I want it to move in a less predictable way by assigning some randomness to its movement.
What I can't do: Imagine a clock. Its hand moves at a constant pace. When the hand's initial position is 12 o'clock I would like it to move as long as its hand meets the hour 12 again and communicate it. The full cycle. Then, I want to change the object's x,y and make it keep moving. And so on. How do I tell Flash that my objects has made a full cycle?
I've been playing with carousel code, and was wondering how to change it from circular animation (carousel) to left/right linear (conveyer belt) style animation, how to change the mover code and 't.angle = i * ((Math.PI*2)/numOfItems);'
i was looking at the circular movement tutorial on this site and am now trying to make it so the object points towards the mouse but only moves around that circular axis. any ideas on how i can do this in as3?

I have a mc (fStrip) which looks like a piece of filmstrip with thumbnail images in it. I want this mc to move when the users mouse is positioned over it, but I only want it to move only along it's x-axis and in a direction opposite that of the mouse. And I want it to move or flow smoothly.
I've been trying to figure this out (see my lame attempt below) but without much luck.

I wish to get the effect of ants scuttering across the screen or up a tree, I have not decided which direction yet. I started with the tutorial code for the snow effect from kirupa, and changed it around to fit the little vector ant I created. The way I have it now looks pretty good, but the movement is a little too fluid. They obviously move in sinusoidal paths bc the code tells them to. I have about 20 copies of the main obj, and they're all a little different in size and specs (speed, transparency, etc) but what I was wondering was if there is any way I can change the code to make it a little more hectic, or erratic, not so fluid. If there is no way of doing so, it looks pretty good right now. If there is, however, I think it could look awesome. here's the code I'm using for the object.

I am creating a flash-based Kiosk. When launched, it runs full page/full screen. However, if a user clicks a button that opens an external document, the swf or Flash Projector exe leaves full page mode and appears in the Flash Player. Is there any way to ensure the swf or projector file always stays in full screen - full page mode?
I am working in Flash CS3 and Actionscript 3.0 My application resizes according to browser width and height. If the user first resizes the browser and then loads the flash application, I could not get the full browser width untill the user goes for full screen. Is there any way around, to get the full browser width before the user goes for full screen.

I have 36 photographs taken at 10-degree angles, making an object and i have each image in a different scene, with hidden buttons asigned to different parts of the object so that whenever you hover your mouse over them it provides some more information.

I have made a movie file symbol with multiple key-frames, such as a person walking, but when I drag this symbol from the library into the stage and preview it, all I see is the first frame of the symbol--it never changes to the next frames.
Let's say I have 30 movieclips in the library, all of the are unique and have linkage names item0, item1,..., item29. Now I need to display them. In as2 I would do:[code]How can I do this in as3? As far as I know I can only attach movies from library like "new Item0()", is that right? So there is no way I could do this in a for-cycle?

Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the code so that it automatically cycles through all the images in, say, 10 second intervals? So rather than keep clicking the next button, it just cycles through. And when it gets to the last image, it then cycles back through the first one.[code]...

In this case imagelist[0] is horror so next time you hit button I want it to goto imagelist[1] or 'legs.' Also I need to set a stop action for this (I am guessing loop) so that it stops at the array length.

how to letter cycle a word. [URL] I have it working but i am trying to create more than one word in seperate text boxes. I have changed MC names and text boxes, but it seems to only cycle in the first box. I even added dummy letters, which works but i am sure this is not the best way.
I have a Mogli (Junglebook-like) Character that i got to move with the arrow keys on the keyboard.
I want the character to jump (so for example , he must while moving to the right of the "gamearea" , you must be able to hit a key (say for example the "control" key ) and then the character must jump ( go up ) and as soon as the key is released he must obviously come down.
And also how do one set movement speed on any particular movement.
I have made my character and inside of its symbol I created its stand still - stop(); - frame before its left and right walking cycles which are both 5 frames long. Now my question is what action script do I use to move both left and right while activating my walk cycle when the arrow is down. Would someone please write out the script for me?
