ActionScript 3.0 :: Firefox Freeze Whenever Flash Error Happens?

I have the newest firefox and the flash debug version. Whenever there is an flash error happen, the error message window popup, and then my firefox freeze immediately. It seems like the problem only happen on debug version of flash. I searched online, people said change the Code:dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs to -1 will fix the problem, but I tried, it doesn't really fix it. Anyone know anything I could try to fix it?

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 on my IBM X200t. Installed is the standard flash player plugin for Firefox: (flashplugin-nonfree, 10.1.102.65). Everytime I switch a flash video to fullscreen, the video freezes. However, the video continues to play and I hear sound. How can I fix this?

works perfect on my macbook pro (safari, firefox, and opera) but when I view the site on Vmare Fusion Windows XP and use IE and FireFox the pages don't load... I don't know what to make of this. Has anyone hear or seen anything like this happen before? BTW the website was created in Adobe Flash CS4/ AS 3.0 and published using Flash Player 10.

I am loading a flash program, with an automatic redirect to a frame (frame 2, in this case). Each frame has a different menu system on it, linking to a URL.
However with firefox the first two elements of this frame does not show up. Very frustrating.

I am creating a website in Flash and getting error #1009 in Firefox and IE on pc only (all browsers on mac are fine). If I remove all of the buttons that appear within the site (everywhere except Frame 1), the problem disappears, but I need to have those internal links. I have tried hiding the buttons in Frame 1, adding the code for them in the actions layer of Frame 1, and then duplicating them on other pages, to no avail. This is the end of a multi-month project, and now I'm unexpectedly totally stuck

I am using Flash and Photoshop CS5 for a college (HND) project (by which I mean, a single document for a Flash portfolio) and, Flash in particular, they keep appearing to freeze (i.e. they temporarily show as "Not Responding") whenever I save and take forever to save. My computer is quite low spec. (I intend to get another high-spec one but until that point) and possibly insufficient for what I am trying to run. However, I have only recently started having this problem and the saving is so slow that it is hampering my development of the project..
Is there at least a short-term solution to this? I really need to get on with the project and I can't when it's running like this. Flash also occasionally crashes so I can't risk not saving it regularly as I could lose work.

we'd made a flash site which was working fine on normal pc and mac and on all kind of browsers, but we discovered if the pc has no sound card, the flash will freeze after loaded, we tried some other flash sites, some of them also cannot run without a sound card but some can, is there any script we need to add to avoid this problem?

I have flash resizing it's container div by using external interface to call the javascript:[code]Now this appears to work fine in every browser except chrome. For some reason after the div is shrunk back down to size, the flash player looks like it's frozen. It's actually not frozen because if you resize the window the flash player starts playing again and you can see it had made progress since it appeared frozen. This only happens in chrome. I'm working on a website in php made for local Thai people. The website somehow uses links with Thai characters in them. The problem is when I click the link in flash it navigates to instead of "http://localhost/THAI TEXTS-108-0-region-3.html". When I tested this with Internet Explorer, it understands the unicode text in a link and navigate me to the correct link. In fact the flash understands the thai unicode characters because when I tried to create a dynamic text field, it could print out the correct thai characters on the flash.So it seems to be that this is the problem with flash failing to talk to Firefox API. I'm guessing either URLRequest object or navigateToURL function does not take unicode texts

Whenever a picture is supposed to load it shows a NaN% ( not a number ) I'm guessing something is wrong with my loader scripting. The pictures still load but there is no bar so when A client loads the large high res version they have no idea if its loading and the blow up effect I have just shrinks to 0.0 on the screen. I've been up all night

I have a simple xml file that I'm using to load images.[code]I'm using the name of the base tag as the name of the nav to load the images. I am developing a product for schools including flash animations - swf files written in AS3 - for insert/embed into PowerPoint slideshows. Hundreds of customers are waiting. It is all working apart from one problem: when inserted/embedded in PowerPoint 2007 slideshows my animations freeze (sometimes) when you leave and return to a PowerPoint slide containing them.
I have found that when you show a PP2007 slide containing a flash movie, move on to the next slide and then return, (sometimes) the time-related Events (ENTER_FRAME, TIMER etc) have stopped being dispatched to AS3 code by Flash Player, freezing animations. Other Events such as MOUSE_MOVE, KEY_DOWN etc are dispatched to AS3 in random bursts. I have created a small flash program and PowerPoint slideshow to demonstrate the problem and put them on the web at: [URL].

Flash freezes when in fullscreen, youtube or any other site. Disabling hardware acceleration works but significantly lowers the playback quality. I'm running XP SP3 and WIndows 7, same problem with both OSs, in IE, Firefox, Opera, and Google chrome, so it's definitly the adobe flash player that's causing the problem. Tried unninstaling adobe flash player and adobe activeX completely, than downloaded latest versions and installed them. Then I tried unninstaling them, unninstalling all the browsers, restarting, then installing the browsers and then the latest flash player.

I am new to flash, and I've never done animation before, so I'm a little confused on how to make a symbol movie clip, freeze and then keep moving.
Do I need to do it frame by frame?
I made a character walk from off the stage to the center by using a motion tween and it appears to be moving because I edited the symbol to make the legs move. But now I don't know how to make the legs stop when the character reaches the end of the motion tween. Is it even possible?
