Dec 6, 2010I have two views in viewstack. One has a VRule extending from top of screen to bottom. Another view has a big accordion. If I give viewstack percent height=100%, first view works fine and second view gets clipped or has a vertical scroll bar inside view stack. If I dont mention viewstack height and set resizeToContent to true, second view works fine and first view takes up only small part of screen. If I mention viewstack height and set resizeToContent to true, first view works fine and second view gets clipped or has a vertical scroll bar inside view stack. I want vertical scrollbar but for entire window, not just for viewstack. How to accomplish this ?

Jun 24, 2010I have a flash movie which produces a certificate for participants in an online course.It gets the pageHeight, pageWidth from the printjob then scales the certficate image to fit nicely in the middle.This is working fine on windows and linux, but on the mac it is not behaving. It is chopping of the right and bottom edge of the certificate, I think because it's misreporting the page size - putting in some debugging information about the dimensions reports as expected - the same as on other platforms - but if I put two printouts on top of each other on a lightbox, the mac one is scaled up, mostly horizontally.

Aug 27, 2011I'm importing a cool external photo gallery .swf; however I can't figure out the stage settings. I created an empty movie clip and added the import script in there. Works good and can align clip where I want, but the .swf file is not appearing as a 550px X 413px contained .swf. It stretches to fit the main stage.

My question is, I want the MCs to be joined by a 1px line and when the MC moves the line stretches and moves with it...how do I do this?

Show the progressBar and the the % of the file being loaded into the UILoader. And then after it loaded the picture the progressBar's visiblity must go to false.

How do i remove the video.swf and music.swf when the user clicks on a different button to load a different swf.

Nov 27, 2009I am building a site in Flash cs4 and I'm a the part where i want to add my photos so I have inserted a UIloader to load my images and I have set the UIloader to pull from the images folder and it just keeps giving me an error message cant find images which I cant understand why cause the Fla file is in the same folder as the images,here's the part I really cant understand if I rename the images without numbers then it finds a couple of them???? I have always done it this way in the older versions and I know it works in the new version I have spent hours trying to find out why and have asked many people and they cant tell me why.
