ActionScript 3.0 :: Loading External Swf Only After Previous Swf Has Loaded

I have a feeling that this is going to be an easy solution, but I don't have as much experience with the Loader class as I should. I have 2 external swfs that I'm loading, but i only want the second swf to load after the first has finished loading.How would I go about doing this? Would I call the loadBus function from within the loadAir function?[code]
i have designed a flash projector using as3 in which I have successfully loaded an external swf onto frame 2 of my first scene called "start". i want to include a Restart button in a later scene called "intro", which will unload the external swf as well as restart the entire presentation from frame 1 of my "start" scene. my problem is that I can't figure out how to tell my Restart btn, located in the "intro" scene, to look in the "start" scene to unload the external swf - i need to eliminate the "1120: Access of undefined property..." error when working in multiple scenes.
how to automatically load external movie clips so that they load and play after the previous movie clip has finished. I have attached a simplified version of the files that I am working with.The files are set up as so: Main.fla : this is the main file in which all of the other movie clips are loaded into.Movie1.fla, Movie2.fla, Movie3.fla : These movies need to load and play after the previous movie has finished playing.
my program is i can choose several movie to load and the movies are save in an array... For example: i choose movie 1 , 2 and 3. Movie 1 was loaded. After i lick 'next 'button, movie 2 will be show .Beside that,if i click 'previous' button, movie 1 will be show. i facing a problem that my previous button is not back to my previous loaded movie but is trace my choices in arrays backward. The next problem is, my first movie load to the second movie load will be a bit lagging. but the rest 1 is ok.
I spent almost a week trying to figure out how to unload a currently loaded swf using its button and loading a new swf... I have three files, a main.fla, file1.fla and file2.fla. In my main.fla, I have a code which loads the other two files. If i will click the "unload" button in the file1.swf, I would like the main.fla to unload the file1.swf and load the other file, file2.swf. Here is the code to load the file1.swf:

This works perfect for loading the said .swf and displaying it on my flash program. However I have a next button which When clicked I want it to increment so that It picks a new swift from the array.

This also works well for my desired effects. However I need to remove the previous loaded .swf before the next one is loaded. How do I do this?When I try to use removeChild(ld); It doesn't work.
I have a flash file that loads jpeg files and runs through each on the timeline. I have nav buttons to go back and forth. Here is the problem, all images load on frame 5 and I do this while another image is displayed so that they are loading in the background. I do this so that my initial file size is small, but I can load images in the background making the flash file appear to load quickly and loading other elements after it starts.
So all images load on frame 5, then I go frame by frame until I hit frame 11. If I click one of my nav buttons to go back to say, frame 7, the jpeg is gone and is no longer loaded. How to load jpeg files into the library, or at least, keep them loaded after they have loaded once? I have attached my fla file for reference. I had to rename the extension to eps, but it's a fla file, just rename the extension.
I have two xmls, xml1 and xml2. Both have same structure, only data are different. Button 1 loads xml1 and button2 loads xml2. Both calls same function to load XML. First i press button1, so xml1 starts loading, but if before xml1 is completely loaded, i press button2, xml2 also starts loading. If for some reason the xml2 loads first i get data from xml2. But when i look at the bandwidth profiler in flash , xml1 is still loading. When xml1 is loaded it will replace data from xml2. SInce i pressed button2 last, i would want data from xml2. So is it possible to stop loading the previous xml when i start loading another xml?
detect current frame number of a movie clip inside a loaded external swf?
its like this, i have a main swf, lets call it "loader_swf", inside the loader_swf i create a movie clip called "holder_mc" which loads an external swf, lets call it "ex_swf". The ex_swf has a movie clip in frame 2 which is the main animation of ex_swf. Is it possible to get the current frame number of the movie clip holding the animation on frame 2? the only thing i know is to get the current frame of main timeline of ex_swf.
Problem that I want to share with you is that I have two external swf. One is swf generated by Flex IDE and second one is generated by Flash IDE. When I load flex swf, loading progress output is not showing until the whole file is loaded. This problem is not presented when I load flash swf as you can see on this testing page 90.157.198.254/test/test.php.
I have created this script using code snippets etc. that when I click a button ive created it randomly loads one of X amount of different text files I have in a text field. The text field is only created after I click the button, and I can't figure out how to change the size of my font because it's appearing to small on my stage. Also if anyone could figure out how to get rid of the previous loaded text and replace it with the new one instead of them over writing each other, that would be great.
i am making a photo gallery. I load photos to a Loader by getting links from XML. My problem is this that while photos are being loaded, when next photo comes, previous one do not dissapear
am currently building a gallery using loadclip method and unload movie method for my external swf.. i have no problem switching external swf by clicking on my image humbnail. but i have no idea how to create a next and previous button for this structure.below is the code to load my external swf.
A few months ago, I started noticing a small annoyance in Flash and the Flash Player. This small annoyance quickly became a rather large inconvenience, so I recently started googling a solution. I have a class that loads data from a text file and puts it into an array called tdv.importedTxtArray (public var).In a separate class i have written [code]The infoArray does not then contain the imported text however because tdv.importedTxtArray is not given its popper contents until about 1/2 a second after the tdvLoader class executes (i.e: when Event.COMPLETE is run and the array is populated with strings from the external text file). Subsequently in the code above infoArray is set to a blank array.How can i get the code in my separate class to ''wait' until tdv.importedTxtArray is properly populated before accessing it.
I am delving into AS3 and need a little bit of help. I am building an application that allows users to view content by clicking "next" and "previous" with a visual cue telling the user what slide they have loaded (slide 1 of 15, slide 2 of 15 etc etc) but I am really struggling with it. I want to load each slide as an external SWF because they are heavy.
I found this code online which loads swfs when you hit a "next button" but I have no idea how to get it to work to load swfs when you click a "previous button" and how to add the slide reference:
I want to end any previous data loading progresses.. But I can't manage to do this. I tried lots of things (as you can see couple of them below), but it just can't stop downloading of images. I click to first gallery button, it starts to download thumbs and the first picture. Then I click to second gallery button and it adds more download progress to the previous ones.. (Every gallery has 4 thumb, this way every click adds 4 thumb and 1 picture. It's download count grows 5+5+5 to infinite) This code is from my thumb class.. Every thumb downloads it's own little image..
I have various movies clip within a movie and my back (mc = arr2_mc) and next (mc = arr1_mc) buttons are on the main scene.This is on my main scene on a first frame
when it goes back, it goes back frame by frame without stopping but I want it to go only to previous Scene. instead of going to previous frame.Do i have to create a unique button? which i did but i didn't work?
I am working on a school project that requires me to load external .swf or .jpg files. I currently have all of the buttons working and are loading an external .swf file on to the screen. The problem I am having is that when I go from one button to the next the loaded .swf stays on the screen and the next .swf gets loaded on top of it. I know that I need to unload the file but I am not sure where to put the code for the unload or what code exactly to use. I would like when the button is pressed to unload the previous loaded .swf and load the new .swf without having a separate button to unload.

So far so good. I am certain it requires the Child to communicate with the parent somehow but I am at a loss. If I could get a bit of advice or a link to something deal with this, it would be a big help. I just need to have my links load my modules and the remove them when the close buttong is hit on the loaded swf. I promise I have done searches and I admit I have found asnwers but still they are not working. I found the code below:

Am creating a two page document in flash cs4. Each of these 2 page documents have links to a learning resource on a web server.All I want is for the user to be able to navigate to and fro this two page document. Infact, I want to be able to click on a NEXT button to go the the nextpage and PREVIOUS PAGE button to go back to the previous page.

I have a movieclip clip that plays when the movie starts, the movieclip is a visual assets that show's that the application is loading some information but it's not showing any loading progress, just playing while the assets are loaded.I created a for loop that will load the assets using a simple loader, and then when the object is loaded the application push the object to an array.Problem is that when the loading starts all the animation that i have on screen stops until the loading is finished.The whole point is that the animation will play while it's loading.
