ActionScript 3.0 :: [object Class] Instead Of [object MovieClip] - Delete The Targets ENTER_FRAME Event?

When I use MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT the target is [object MovieClip], but when I use MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT I get [object Bildspel] - and Bildspel is my class. The thing is that when I use ROLL_OUT I'm not able to delete the targets ENTER_FRAME event.

I want to create an endless loop, 8 items moving in a circular shape. When you roll over of each item, it will stop the moving, and you should be able to click it.
I dont know what should I use, should I use Event.ENTER_FRAME or the circular shape should be in movie clip, so that when there is a mouse over event, it will stop moving?

So the ENTER_FRAME property will add an object to the stage on every frame the game runs. If the game is 24 fps, 24 objects created per second. How can I limit that so it will generate an object every 4 frames?

I've been trying to do a drag and drop game, the logic of the game is that I have 4 blocks grey1_mc, .
grey4_mc, and 8 targets target1_mc,target8_mc.Now, grey1_mc can be dropped only on targetgrey1_mc and targetgrey2_mc, similarly grey2_mc on targetgrey5_mc and targetgrey6_mc grey3_mc on targetgrey1_mc and targetgrey2_mc grey4_mc on targetgrey5_mc and targetgrey6_mc
when grey1_mc or any other greyBlock hits it assigned target it should be locked onto the target and should not be clickable. Also it should play a movieclip inside of it i.e., a Green Tick Mark. if grey1_mc hits any other target it should lock on to that target play a " Red Wrong Movie" and then snap back to its original position.
similar functionality is going to be used for the rest of the grey movieclips.the code that i've written is this...

I'm doing a project where I have a movieClip grey1_mc and I have 2 white boxes, which are also movieClips white1_mc and white2_mc. What I want to do is to add a Drag and Drop functionality such that, grey1_mc can lock onto white1_mc if droped on white1_mc, also grey1_mc can can lock onto white2_mc, if dropped on white2_mc. And the usual snapping back to original position if placed elsewhere on the stage.
This is just for one movieClip grey1_mc. I've got 4 such movieClips
[grey1_mc, grey2_mc, grey3_mc, grey4_mc,] and 8 targets
[white1_mc, white2_mc, white3_mc, white4_mc, white5_mc, white6_mc, white7_mc, white8_mc,] ,....
So, grey1_mc can hit white1_mc or white2_mc.
grey2_mc can hit white3_mc or white4_mc.
grey3_mc can hit white1_mc or white2_mc.
grey4_mc can hit white3_mc or white4_mc.
MovieClips white5_mc to movieClip8_mc are only to show a error message in the o/p window.

I am creating game which involves some billiard-like balls to bounce on the screen. I created a MovieClip with only one frame which represented the ball, exported it to the class, extended it to my needs and animated it using Event.ENTER_FRAME. It works fine, but there is something that confuses me -- both, the stage and the ball have only one frame each, so I don't quite understand how Event.ENTER_FRAME works... I mean, if there are no keyframes, how is done the animation? If I used already animated MovieClip, I would have to add keyframes, right?

The current problem with my code is everytime I press the play again button in frame 4 and I restart my game it goes twice as fast. So I asked my teacher and she told me it's something with the EventHandlers but I didn't used them in my code.She's of no help to me currently. Yes, education over here is worthless in a certain amount.. Personally I think error lies in this code: I also get the error called: TypeError: Error #1009 about a null object. It's at the MainTimeline/ enter_frame()..

I have a SendData class that sends form info to a php script. It is a static class that does not extend anything.
I want to be able to dispatch an event if there is an error, or when it gets info back from the server. I have a custom event class that I have been using to dispatch events like this, but I have only used that in displayObject extended classes.
The problem is, it seems like something has to be a displayObject based class to dispatch events. I know there must be a way to do this, but I'm having trouble finding it in searches.

I want to listen for a custom event dispatched from the document class in a custom subclass. For example, let's say in the document class I have:
ActionScript Code:[code]....
So that the subclass will trace 'Event from document class received' when the 'customEvent' event from the document class is listened by the eventlistener. However, the output is only 'customEvent dispatched', meaning it wasn't heard in the subclass.

I'm having some troubles with the use of interface and inheritance in AS3. I've done lots of OOP in the past and what I'm trying to do seems obvious to me, but doesn't work in AS3. The question is : Is it possible to override a function that return an Object of class A, and make it return an Object of Class B which extends A ? In the code below, I have created an instance of the DrawLineChart class called LineChart1.When I test the movie, it shows up on the stage just fine and when I click on it, I can use a trace command to get a string statement written to the output window. However, now I want to be able to click on LineChart1 on the stage and have it be removed. When I do that, I get an error message 1120: Access of undefined property LineChart1.
why I'm unable to refer to my instance LineChart1 and what I need to do so that I can refer to it and remove it when it gets clicked? why the trace statement works when I click on LineChart1 during runtime, but not the removechild command.

I have a MovieClip. It represents animation of jumping monster. For clearness, let's pretend there are only 2 frames: the first one occupies top left rectangle (x = 0, y = 0, w = 70, h = 70) and the second one occupies (x = 100, y = 0, w = 70, h = 70). So monster jumps from left to the right. And position of MovieClip itself is constantly = (0, 0).
I'd like to fire some event when monster is clicked by mouse.
For some reason, I have stage mouse listener, not monster mouse listener. I wrote this code:

I have Class MovieClip object that is being added to a scene. Within that Class is this code, which adds a different MovieClip to the original class. I can add an eventListener to the initial Class object (this.addEventListener ... etc), and that will work, yet it does not appear to work if I add it to this embedded object. There is no error, yet the object has no mouse over and does not execute the assigned function of the eventListener.
Here is the code:
b_frond = new BFrond();
addChild(b_frond);
b_frond.buttonMode = true;
b_frond.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, clickHandler);
I've also tried:

The following is that long only because I gave examples of what I want to know, not because it is complex .I have three basic questions regarding AS 3.0 classes.
1. How can I make a class object interact with an object on stage?
For example, when I have a square (mc_Square) with class "square" attached to it and I want it to trace "Colliding!" and print the X and Y of the mc_Box on contact with an on-stage *hollow* box (mc_Box) that has no class attached to it.how to do it vice-versa would also be awesome .
2. How can I make a class object interact with the same class object? For example, when I have two squares (mc_Square) that both have the class "square" attached to it and when they collide, it prints the X and Y of both of them.
3. How can I make a class object interact with a different class object?
For example, when I have two squares mc_Square1 with class "square1 (that also has a variable Primary=true written in it)" and a mc_Square2 with class "square2"; When they collide, the one with Primary=true would be removed and it's X,Y position traced.

I have a movie clip symbol placed on the main timeline. The class linkage to that movie clip is Sheet. Inside Sheet class, I make a public string call _textRow. Inside the Sheet's constructor, I create a new TextField call values_txt. Inside the Sheet class again, I create a public function call updateTable().
The document class is Main. From the Main.as, I need to call updateTable() function to update the text inside values_txt. And I need to find a way to get to values_txt. That's where my problem lies.

Is there another way to work with movieclip classes than attaching them from the library?For instance say that I have a textbox class that extends the movieclip class. Puts it on the scene and then I'm free to work with it from the class as I want.But inside this class I check if I need a scrollbar. If I do, then start a "sub-class" and create a scrollbar. I can have a movieclip in the library and attach it and have a new class on it. But what I want to do is write something like this

the problem is if I do like this the class that I start is just an object. I can't trace where it is, I cant create a movieclip inside it and trace where that is.
