Now I wanted to introduce a smaller 'x' icon on top right hand side of the icons so the user could remove the items he's not interested in from the carousel's list of items. This would dispatch a different event so removeIconEvent and clickEvent would be handled differently.

Jan 3, 2003there is a bug about unloadmovie method so i revised everything and attached the movies i loaded before,so that i could use removemovieclip method but there is still a problem; when i remove the mc s from some buttons and recall the same mc s again, they don't obey the codes written.[code]but when i do this with a slidermenu item that is below the one i have just used (4th one ) and slide back the 4th one again;the problem starts..it acts like there r no codes about alphas or depths of the mc s attached in instances window4_1 etc and worst of all it creates two copies of these mc s and doesn't remove them later because they become undefined stuff this time..

1) I created a MovieClip with some graphics representing a simple tab menu item
2) I created a class "Tab.as" which extends MovieClip and linked to the MovieClip from step 1
3) I used Component Definitions in the library to add a String property linked to the variable "icon": Label = "Icon", Variable = "icon", Value = "", Type = "String"
4) In my Tab.as class I put an [Inspectable] get/set property, icon: [Inspectable] public function get icon():String{ ... } public function set icon(val){ ... }
I get the following compile errors for both get and set functions: 1023: Incompatible override. 1021: Duplicate function definition. Why?
