In the first panel AboutUs page with text I want modify it a little - I have a ready flash palyer and want change uploaded text to flv player movie (file preview.swf in the same folder)
Of course I need everything works tha same as default (when I'll click to close button - clear window with flv player, stop video and sound in flv player)
Now Aboutus text is loading to "Box1" movie clip in the text field "details_txt".

Dec 3, 2009I'm currently making an animation which will eventually exceed the 16,000 frame limit (don't ask haha), so, short of making two movies and having to just start up the next one, what is the code for loading a movie? I presume they need to be in the same directory? So basically all I want is on the last frame of the movie the code executes and the second movie file opens up and starts. I guess I'd want the current movie to close, too.

Apr 2, 2009I am pulling double duty with this question as it serves two purposes. I am developing a total flash controlled ad system for myself, but also need to use the same theory for a project for work.
Concept: I have a main movie (ad rotator system) that I then want to randomly load other swf's (individual ads) into this main swf after a set period of time. The random load I got set no problem. The problem I am having is to get it to move to the new Frame label of the main movie which then loads the smaller swfs. I am using the LoadMovie with nInterval time delay command in flash to load the movies.

Data Integration :: XML Will Not Load In Player
Jun 18, 2007I made a flash music player for my server the player works perfectly and loads the xml data when viewed on my computer and even when it has been uploaded to the server IF I view it by itself but once I try and view my HTML file, all of the information for the songs comes up as undefined, so none of the songs will play.

The page behaves exactly how I would expect in Firefox (all versions) and Chrome. However, in IE8 (and I have the latest flash plug-in), I see a "1 item remaining" message in the status bar and the overlay contains no flash player. Right-clicking on the grey space shows a "movie not loaded" message.

I'm having a few issues with the scrubber and the load bar, they loadbar starts in the middle and stretches out towards the sides and the scrubber starts in the middle and runs off the end? I'm pretty new to actionscript as have only really used flash for simple animations before, i have attached the source file and the actions are listed below.

I've figured out how to load an alternative page using "onload" as part of the body tag if no flash player is found, but just need to have something to load an alternative image object instead.

Flash - Can't Get Second Sound To Load In Streaming .mp3 Player
Nov 14, 2010I'm struggling with a flash file that I want to play two different sound files when the appropriate buttons are pressed.I've gotten it to the point where it will load without any errors popping up, but instead of playing the second sound when I press the button for that sound, it plays the first sound again. Here's the code:

C# :: Embedded Flash Player Doesn't Load?
Feb 5, 2011I wrote a program in C# that, when a user press a button, opens a new form containing an embedded flash object. The flash application needs the user to be logged in, so i added to the source something like
swf.SetVariable("__ses", sid);
This works fine for 2 user testing the application, while the third one can succesfully open one table, while all the others appear "black", just like if the loader can't get past the loading step.

Redirect Or Load HTML Instead When Flash Player Not Installed
Jul 6, 2009I know this is probably something that is discussed a lot but I cannot find the solution to meet my exact needs. I need to redirect website visitors to an HTML version of my website (or show HTML instead of Flash) when they do not have flash player installed. I need a simple, clean, quick solution because there are about 70,000 letters that went out to customers with the site on them and the client just asked for this behavior this morning, right when the mail is supposed to hit mailboxes today.

Oct 26, 2009I've found only one flash player, that plays my Shoutcast stream directly to my site. I've designed it the way I like, put my shoutcast url in it and everything I wanted. The only one problem I couldn't decide is that I can't "tell" the player not to autostart with page load. I tried with "autoplay="false" when I embed the player in site, but nothing happens. I suppose that I need to put something in my actioscript.

Currently I am publishing a separate SWF player/file for each F4V, but this is unacceptable. I need to use one SWF file to load different F4V files. I'm not that knowledgeable in the ways of Flash, but I believe that the "src" attribute of the embed tag and the "name='movie'" attribute of the object's param tag needs to point to the SWF player/file. So does anybody know how I can manipulate the object and embed tags to make them load a different F4V file into the SWF player?

The problem I encountered is that I can't change the source of the video in the mxml file using Notepad++. The source could be changed if I run Flex but It's not a good idea because I want to run different videos through this player.how to run different videos with this Flex Video Player component because my application works only for this given in the source of FlexPlayer.mxml-maybe I shouldn't use this mxml file for the different Video Sources?

Nov 29, 2011I'm developing a simple Flash application which has only one SWF file. I want the SWF movie to start playing asap so I don't build a preloader for it. What happen if my actionscript code refers to resources which haven't been loaded yet? For example, the code cause the playhead to jump from frame 1 to frame 20 when the movie has just been loaded up to frame 10. In that case, flash player will? Block the script execution, stop playing, continue loading from frame 11 to 20 (without executing script), jump to frame 20 and invoke script at that frame when it's loaded?
Block the script execution, stop playing, ignore loading frame 11 to 19, load frame 20, jump to frame 20 and invoke script at that frame? Ignore jumping to frame 20, continue executing next statements after the go to frame 20 statement? Or anything else? If flash player doesn't ignore jumping to frame 20, any event is triggered when frame 20 is loaded completely? Note: Answers for the first question should focus on my example, cover all circumstances (such as attach movie from library...)

Jan 20, 2005It looks like this might be a bug, but Im not sure. When you load two or more MediaDispay/Player-components into different levels (using loadMovieNum()) in a project, the project will crash/freeze.
Its enough just having one of these components in the library (ie. not on the stage) in two or more .swf's that gets loaded into the project, for it all to freeze up.
