Actionscript 3.0 :: Create Pre-loader For Video File?
Dec 15, 2010
how can i create pre-loader for video files, because i tried to apply the pre-loader that i use with images, and it load actual and when it loaded appears in output pane that message "Loaded file is an unknown type" !!, and my video doesn't play...
this is my code
Code: Select allstop();
var video:Video = new Video(320, 240);
var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();
nc.connect(null);
I have preloader bar of loading video. If i use NetStream actions bytesLoaded and bytesTotal to create preloader this show how many bytes are loaded I want to create how many seconds of video file are loaded. The same preloader are on youtube player. If i use NetStream actions and if i move slider of position to end of preloader bar video is no playing from place where i put slider but slider are go back, and then video is playing. I want to video are playing from place where i put slider.
Basically I'd like to know if there are any libraries out there that lets me create a video file in the flash runtime. I know such a process would take a lot of resources, but I would still like to know if it was possible?I would guess it could work like just passing it a bitmapdata for each frame.
I am trying to create the sample file for loading the video images with thumnail.But i don't know how to create thumnail for video file (using video component).give any tutorial and give some sample files.
I need to create some sort of video-editor for dummies, which has to generate a video file as output.The editor has to load a movie-file scale and rotate it to a certain degree, and generate a composite video of a background bitmap and the rotated and placed video.The frontend will be done in Flash/AS3 and has to use some background tools for processing the video.Can I use FFmpeg to generate such a composite? Or is there any other good background task available?
I want to create a preloader that plays a video frame-by-frame in sequence according to the percentage of the total bytes loaded.in short, if the swf has loaded 25%, then it should show the video at frame 25 or at 25% the project; I want an image of my 3d model to start off as appearing to be hand drawn 2D, then transition into a full color 3D image as the swf loads.
Since my background is in 3D, not web design, I only have a basic grasp on Action scripting, so I tried to modify other code snippets with disastrous results, and most of the time, no results.It doesn't make a difference to me whether the video would be encapsulated in a movie-clip or if its just embedded in the time line, whatever is easier to do.
Hello Everyone I am trying to create a pre loader, everything works fine because I have traced everything and all is working but, my progress will not display in the designated bar, your help would be highly valued here is my code that's on the time line
ActionScript Code: var loader_text:Loader_text = new Loader_text(); addChild(loader_text)
I'm trying to create a flash video that will incorporate powerpoint-like slides along with video footage. So for instance I will have slide 1 (graphic) - slide 2 (video clip) - slide 3 (text). I have used CS4 before for one of my classes but that was a little while ago, and I feel like I'm starting over again. When I import the first graphic (.png), is there an option to have it resize to fit the stage?
I am trying to create a flash pre-loader exactly like the one in the tutorial at this link: ( I am using CS4 and AS3 as he is in the video)
[URL]
When I go to simulate download, the loading page screen will show as the page loads, but the dynamic text fields will not update or show anything - they are just whited out as if they are not there.
I have checked the code about ten times. And I have also named all the movie clips exactly has he has them named in the movie. The only problem I can think of is that I am not if I need to name my .swf file that plays on frame two to something else or somehow "connect" it to the action script or loading page so the loading page understands what the dynamic text needs to load. If this is not the problem, can anyone think of something else?
is it possible to create a pre-loader using plainly Flex 4? I've seen tutorials on how to make one but each of them requires that I have Flash Professional or Flash Catalyst. I have absolutely no experience when it comes to implementing pre-loaders as well as making one.
I'm developing a gallery and I've just relised I've been creating a new set of thumbnails each time I click on the image category.There are four Categories and everytime I click on a category a new set of thumbnails gets created.How would I go about reusing the loaded thumbnails.I'm assuming I would need to create a separate Array to store the loaded thumbnail from each category. I am able to create the Array but how do I tell flash that the Loaded objects are in the array so don't create a new Loader and a new thumbHolder.[code]
i am trying to create a video player in AS 2.0, but I have a problem.My code loads a video, and plays the video, but.... I don't see my video xD.This is my code :
ActionScript Code: var connection:NetConnection = new NetConnection(); connection.connect(); var flux_video:NetStream = new NetStream(connection);
It's a simple slideshow of thumnails which load images on thumb press. It is working perfectly with images, but now I have to load aswf with a flv component. Again the swf with the flv loads, but if I play the video and then hit another thumb to load a new image, the video swf disapears, but I can still hear the sound playing in the back ground! How do I remove the sound?
I have tried unloading by Code: pictLdr.unload(); But its not right.
This is not all the code but where it needs to be looked at, the Code: closePressHandler Is the point where I need the sound to stop playing.
On my stage I have a mc (videoLoader) with the mc (loadBar) inside it. When I preview the movie it shrinks loadBar to where it should, but it doesn't expand as the video loads.
ActionScript Code: this.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, loading); function loading(e:Event):void[code].........
I've been at this for a couple of hours chopping and changing all sorts of things so now im going back to basics and starting from scratch[code]...
all i am planning on doing is having an automated holder looping through 5 images, not even bothered about fading or anything for now, just need a dead simple loader to actually get me going again to give me something to build on
I have an array of external images that I am loading and the number of external images is variable, so I want to be able to create loaders to load them as needed. Is there a way to dynamically create and uniquely name a loader at run time?
Otherwise is there a way to pass the image content off in such a way that it will remain loaded if the loader is used to load other images?
I have been looking over the internet for a while about this, but it doesn't seem like there is any information available specifically related to captcah and flash.
My purpose is to create an image up-loader on flash, and implement "recaptcha" on it, so the upload is controlled.
I know that some people will say, "well you can't automatize flash input so you don't need captcha in this situation" even though this is somewhat true, there is still screen macro programs that could potentially make the computer upload hundreds of pictures if there is not something in place to avoid it.
I thought of implementing my own captcha but that seems to me like i would be reinventing the wheel, can anyone point me on the right track for this? or suggest another approach to avoid abuse on my image up-loader flash?
is it possible to create a loader and add parent to it,outside of a function or is there a function that runs once when the movie is started that i could add things like this into
I'm listening for a Loader to COMPLETE loading, and then I jump to a handler function "thumbLoaded". I would like to create a new Loader obj. each time I enter the "thumbLoaded" function. I would like this new Loader to be equal to the Loader that triggered the COMPLETE event. But I don't know the correct syntax to refer to that Loader. I'm trying to refer to the "parent" of the contentLoaderInfo object (ie, the Loader object itself). I've tried both "target.parent" and "currentTarget.parent". I get an error that says "parent is not a valid property of the loaderInfo object".
ActionScript Code: function loadThumb():void{ if (i < kitchensGallery_xml.kitchen.length()){ var thumbLoader:Loader = new Loader();
I am loading a fairly large image file and want to create a bitmap of the loader content. I want to then use this Bitmap and resize it according to the current dimension of the stage. However, I also want to keep the loader content as "originally loaded" as a reference in case the stage is resized and the user wants to view this particular image again. The way my AS is written as of now, I am manipulating the loader content. How do I not do this? How do I "copy" the loader content so I can manipulate the bitmap copy while leaving the loader content unaltered?
<AS> var lightboxImage:Bitmap = new Bitmap(); function resizeLightbox():void{ lightboxImage = myLoader.content; lightboxImage.width = myLoader.content.width; lightboxImage.height = myLoader.content.height; [Code] .....
I am working on Flash,Php site.Currently the Flash Developer calles my page called createJPG.php and sends me an image data.I recieve this data and create JPG from the Data.
What i want is, when the Flash developer send me data he can show a loader and when create JPG process is complete he can hide the loader.For this i want to pass him variable with value 1 as soon as the CreateJPG process is complete...
I'm loading an SWF animation and want to display it in multiple places concurrently, but the only way I could figure out how to do that is to load it every time I display it, as seen here:
private function playSounds():void { for (var i:Number = 0; i < 14; i++) {
I have a number of loader instances (loader1, loader2, loader) which I will use to load pictures. I tried to create a loop and run the command for(var st=1,st<4,st++) { _root.movie_clip.loader+st.load("picture.jpg"); } The concatenation "loader+st" doesn't seem to work. Is it not supported in AS2.0?
I am trying to make a nice pretty video.I have a AVI video from a GOPro video camera, and I hae some info I want to overlay on top of the video. Like Time, GPS, Speed, G-Force etc.I got my raw data, and ActionScript coded it up into a Flash movie, but then worked out I have two issues.Flash export to AVI is pretty crap, and basically does a screen capture.The export to AVI cant be transparent or anything but spare/rectangle.Should I use something other than Flash to create my speedometer, that is more friendly for overlaying on a AVI?This is the sort of thing I am trying to create.
I have a CSV of all my raw data, and am trying to find a way to overlay it and look as professional as that link above. I can make the dials in actionscript, but then exporting to AVI with a 'screen capture' type program, they look pretty crap. But on the other hand, inporting my HD video info Flash, and it becomes pretty crap quality, and still have the export issue at the end.
all i want to create is a loader that fades in an image using the aplha channel. my movie clip instance is called mc_01. whenever I simulate a download it shows nothing. anyone know what im doing wrong? Coded on Action layer frame 1 of scene named "preloader"
stop(); mc_01._alpha = 1; this.onEnterFrame = function():Void { var loadedData:Number = this.getBytesLoaded(); var allData:Number = this.getBytesTotal();
I am making a game, then I learned to load the resources (images,etc) just when I need them, using the Loader class.I would like to know if I embed them they would be loaded with the game swf file (I am thinking as if my game is on a website) or when I instantiate them.If I load it one time and not use it anymore (loose its reference) and after some time load it again, will it be downloaded from server again? Or it will load from my pc? If I put the resources on a folder in the server (now I am using a folder on my pc) anyone would go there and get all the resources! What should I do? how my game would work on a website, not on my PC only I got the idea to create a loader to load my game, but I cant think about the resources loading,
