View 3 RepliesI have an application that runs as a projector and is meant to run full screen in a kiosk. However, when the app is expanded to full screen it crashes and I get an error message of:
Faulting application test.exe, version 10.0.2.54, faulting module test.exe, version 10.0.2.54, fault address 0x0015187e. Event ID: 1000
If I run it in a web browser and try to go full screen the same thing happens. I've been all over the web and haven't found anything. Have uninstalled virus software thinking it might be a problem.

View 1 RepliesCurrently I have a music player that uses FMS on Windows 2003 Server/IIS 6 in a .Net app.I'm trying to move to Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7. However, the player doesn't begin playing from my list when the asp.net page loads with the player. However, if I run my code in debug mose in Visual Studio on the server, the player is functional. Which leads me to ask - can I use FMS in the fashion I want to? If so, how can I set up my site? I tried putting my app pool into classic mode, which didn't work.

FMS 4.5.1 Windows 2008 SP2 (64bit).We are deploying Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5.1 on a new server but Apache does not work (does not serve html files or stream Quicktime H.264 files).Assorted Problems & Error messages:
1. The webroot/index.html page loads locally, but the HLS/HDS streams result in a 2032 error.
2. The webroot/index.html page does not load from external locations:[URL] (does not load externally).[URL] (our old server, FMS 4.0 and Windows 2003). Everything on this server works, the 2 major differences being that it is running FMS 4.x on Windows 2003.
Some RTMP streaming works externally and internally (f4v files):[URL]FMS does not stream Quicktime H.264 files even though f4v files work.New server (does not work): [URL]Old server (Quicktime/H.264 file works):[URL]Apache does not serve Quicktime/H.264 files: I made sure that Apache had all of the correct mime types specified.

In order for the server to accept external connections a reverse DNS lookup needs to be created. I created a reverse DNS lookup and edited the /etc/hosts file to include the IPaddress, Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), shortname.

Just installed Windows 7 RC (7100), and got the latest Flash player for IE8 and Opera. My site [URL] has a music player I created that plays (streams) MP3s from a Flash Comm Server I run. The player works fine with Flash Player version 10.0.22.87 on other platforms, but not in Windows 7. Once you pick a song, it should start immediately. Even clicking the play button doesn't work. The symptoms make me think there's a problem establishing the netconnection for streaming.
I've read Microsoft added streaming of some kind in Windows Media Player for Windows 7, could it be interfering?
For the past while, my developer has been working with me on a small project to put together a live interactive whiteboard app, powered by Flash Media Interactive Server. Well, everything is finished & ready to go, but there seems to be a big problem:
The app was developed & tested on a windows machine, while my server and all my website files (to integrate with) is on a Linux system.
It's been a month since this problem arrose, and there had not been any further progress with this project for the time. My developer doesn't seem to know much about how the 'conversion process' works, if there is one.

I presume I need to use the WebServiceConnector, and point the WDSL URL to our Area's areaservice.amsx, and then presumably use the GetAreaListingData operation to retireve the data, and hopefully pipe the data out into a couple of dynamic text boxes,but beyond that I'm a bit lost. currently I use the following workflow for Live video streaming.I have FMLE on a computer streaming the Video feed to my FMS.I currenlty use Dreamweaver to create window with a few instances of a video window and one of the windows is configured to rtmp to my server and the stream name of the stream I have setup in FMLE.This then streams to one of the windows.I then assign a different Stream name to the other windows.
I send an FMLE client to a user in the locations that want to have a video presence on the webpage.I send them instructions and running FMLE and the parameters to use to get their camera up and running.This works fine to a point.Most of the users are not technically minded and so often this leads to issues and delays to get these things to work.
I want to move on and improve this flow.I want to create the video instances on the page where:Below each video window is a text input field where a user can type in their name which will be used as the stream name.Below each video window is a button that the user clicks to connect their camera automatically without having to install FMLE.Once the video feed is running, only that user can click the button again to disconnect it. ( The button changes to "Stop Broadcast" etc).
I have looked at the structure of Ustream for example, and this seems to be the method they use as you can download the XML file of your channe,l and the RTMP URL and stream name can be copied and then used directly in FMLE and you can stream with more control of your camera that way.

I'm running ant to compile a Flex application, and the build keeps failing when running it on a windows command line. Other people in my team can successfully run the very same build under mac and linux. This is the error shown in the command prompt:

All tokens are set in corresponding build.properties and filter .properties files (and, as I said before, it compiles perfectly under mac and linux). The windows version is 7 Ultimate, FLEX_HOME is set as an environment variable to the Flex SDK 3.5 (the 3.5.0.12683 build that comes with Adobe Flash Builder Burrito). ${compiler.fork} is set to false, to avoid an issue with the SDK and the source files being in different logic drives.

From an Adobe Air application, I need a function to launch the Windows Virtual Keyboard (c:windowssystem32osk.exe). I tried the Native Process, but it didn't work when telling it to execute cmd.exe /C osk.exe. How should I launch the keyboard application from an Adobe Air application?
