I'm building a portfolio website for my design work. The whole website is Flash based. I have a Flash banner that I would like to add to the website but I can't seem to place it on stage. Is there a way to stream the banner? If I do that, how do I place it's location on stage?

Previously for static image banners I have implemented on_click code behind or javascript to log the banner has been clicked back to a database and process the re-direction. I don't have much knowledge of flash other than I know that a flash program can handle on-click events of the program. In order to get listed on an advertising website with a higher rating, I have to place a reciprocal link to them on my site. However, I cannot figure out how to place an html link/banner on my site for other businesses. I'm making a piece of flash used for a website banner, previously i've had very little experience with action scipt as i've made various animations only having to use simple functions such as "stop()" and i've made a never ending scrolling menu also, but now i want to have an event that "onPress" a small animation is played where the mouse clicked the banner. What would be the appropriate script to link the .swf i make to the "onPress" command? or what is the right command in general assuming it is that command

I've made similar movies for my websites using flash, and there always seems to be a lag and an image icon while the movie to loads. Here is a site where the movie loads unnoticeably: hensonarchitect com. Is there a way to use flash and have the movie load without an image icon placeholder? The flash movie that I have in mind is only 90kb, so a preloader isn't needed.

All the pictures link to various places around the site, and i cannot find anywhere on how to go about creaating something like this.

If not, how to have Flash integrate with SSH.I have a Flash prototype programmed out, and my client wants to see some minimal integration with an SSH server. View 1 RepliesHere's what I am trying to do: I am working on a flash site and I want it to start out with a bang so I've made a intro clip in After Effects in 1920x1080. I want this intro to start by you clicking a button. So when you first see the screen you are going to see the paused video (In my case the earth from outer space) and a big red button which you can click to start this video. Since I am working in 1080p I won't be able to use FLV so we are talking about the embeded video function. My problem: I want the video to stop or go to the next frame after playback it only loops as of now.
