Create A Banner Similar To The One Seen On This Website?

Im trying to create a banner similar to the one seen on this website:[URL].. It has numbers to take you through the images, previous/next tabs and it autoplays with a pause button also. All the pictures link to various places around the site, and i cannot find anywhere on how to go about creaating something like this.
Ive been reading and watching tutorials all over and can do the basic tweening and autoplay/loop funtions with timer and timer reset in it, but i dontknow how to go about this one as im very new to this.

I have a solid programming base (C, C++ and C#). I was looking for some Flash samples over the Internet and I found a Flash Carousel but my doubt doesn't regard it but something simpler than that.
Consider the following sample: http[url]...., when the user clicks on any of the buttons of this carousel a screen is opened with the corresponding image on it but the user still can see the background because the opened screen has an alpha (close button and a legend). I'd like to know how that is done, I've seen this kind of behavior in many galleries and stuff on the Internet but I don't know how that is called and how to create a similar screen.

It's pretty common on many Architectural and Engineering sites to have a small movie on the home page. For example: URL... I've made similar movies for my websites using flash, and there always seems to be a lag and an image icon while the movie to loads. Here is a site where the movie loads unnoticeably: hensonarchitect com. Is there a way to use flash and have the movie load without an image icon placeholder? The flash movie that I have in mind is only 90kb, so a preloader isn't needed.

I am a c# asp.net developer and need to implement a number of flash website banners. Previously for static image banners I have implemented on_click code behind or javascript to log the banner has been clicked back to a database and process the re-direction. I don't have much knowledge of flash other than I know that a flash program can handle on-click events of the program. Therefore, can somebody suggest the best solution for capturing and processing on-click events of a flash object on a webpage.

I'm trying to create a number of similar variables using a for loop, rather than having to explicitly write out each variable. I have made a Flash banner for my website using CS3 but I wanted to add a hyperlink to it so that when someone clicks on my banner it will bring them to a different page on my site, kinda like the way ad banners work on most websites on the net. I have the official Adobe CS3 Flash manual as well as another one on Flash CS3 just as thick but I can't seem to find anything in either that explains how I can do this.

i am looking to create something similar to the str_replace function (from PHP) that will replace all occurrences of the search string the replacement string from within an larger string. Does anyone have something like that created already (save me the time)?

I need to display a Username in a Flash Banner in my website. The Site is PHP and the header is made in Flash. My requirement is that, when a user Logs in, his name should be displayed in the Top of the site (in the Flash banner here) like "Welcome User". Is it possible ? I have the PHP file which displays username. All I need is that to merge it to the flash banner (through actionscript, isnt it ?)

I purchased a flash website template and am in the process of editing my main.fla file. In order to get listed on an advertising website with a higher rating, I have to place a reciprocal link to them on my site. However, I cannot figure out how to place an html link/banner on my site for other businesses. If I paste the html code in a text box, all that shows up is the html code rather than the image and link it is meant to generate.

My client is complaining that the site that will be hosting her banner is refusing to add the forwarding link to her banner (that upon clicking will redirect to her website). I'd like to know how I can add this function to the Flash CS5 banner I have designed. Also, I have a clicktag on my banner if that makes a difference.

I have been building a website in dreamweaver, but have flash buttons which work fine. But the banner I have made in the page just has a white background. When I export it in flash it works, and when I preview in the dreamweaver browser it still works. I do not know what I have done wrong. Is the coding in the server wrong for the flash?

I'm making a piece of flash used for a website banner, previously i've had very little experience with action scipt as i've made various animations only having to use simple functions such as "stop()" and i've made a never ending scrolling menu also, but now i want to have an event that "onPress" a small animation is played where the mouse clicked the banner. I am having this problem on a website where the flash banners for each page wont load in any browser until you either refresh F5 the page or try re-clicking the page nav links a few times. Once loaded they are fine, but if browser's cache is cleared, no go. [URL] Some research suggested "Usually this happens if there are a lot of linkaged objects in the library with 'Export in first frame' option enabled. If this is the case, please disable this option. The problem is not in the quantity of the linkaged movieclips with 'Export in first frame' option enabled, the problem is the size of the objects which are linkaged."
