I am having this problem on a website where the flash banners for each page wont load in any browser until you either refresh F5 the page or try re-clicking the page nav links a few times. Once loaded they are fine, but if browser's cache is cleared, no go. Some research suggested "Usually this happens if there are a lot of linkaged objects in the library with 'Export in first frame' option enabled. If this is the case, please disable this option. The problem is not in the quantity of the linkaged movieclips with 'Export in first frame' option enabled, the problem is the size of the objects which ar linkaged." I have de-compiled the SWF and checked out the library, but really have no idea in regards to Flash files and their construction as to what is or isn't an issue.

I am having trouble adding a flash banner to my website and I am running php5. I want to use it to help my site sell the new iPad 2. Which product do I need to use to create the flash banner and display photos that I am selling on my auction?
My client is complaining that the site that will be hosting her banner is refusing to add the forwarding link to her banner (that upon clicking will redirect to her website). I'd like to know how I can add this function to the Flash CS5 banner I have designed. Also, I have a clicktag on my banner if that makes a difference.
I am posting this because I purchased a package on FlashComponents.net, and spent 167 dollars on a set of flash components that were suppose to be easy to install and highly customizable. I messaged the creater of this package, snowcat, but he does not reply to my inquiries on why it does not work.
What I thought might be wrong was what I changed in the xml file, so I uploaded the entire folder from stock. the index.html page worked, however as soon as i copied the source code into my page I wanted to to actually play in. It does not even show, when I right-click the area in which it is suppose to be it says "Movie not loaded...".
I literally copied and pasted, there were no changes to the code whatsoever from the working one. After that I continued to try to arrange it the way I wanted it to be anyways, storing the source files in a folder of the site rather than having it in the root of the file. This folder is "index_banner" The developer DID have a posting about that issue on his website which I read four times to make sure that somehow that was not the culprit either.
Below is the code for the page; I am hoping I inadvertantly messed something up because then my 167 dollars is not wasted. But with the lack of support for a supposed "well documented" package it is a little disheartening.
I am trying to create a flash website, my document size is 1024 X 766 pixels. My goal- when I publish it and view it in the browser, when I resize the browser window I DO NOT WANT the website to scale up/down accordingly.At the moment my flash website is scaling according to the resizing of the browser window which is causing awful aliasing to my logo (jagged edges).The logo is 250 x 50 and I don't want the logo to change size while resizing the browser window. And at the moment the logo is growing or shrinking when changing the browser window.
awhile back I completed the load random swf tutorial provided here on kirupa. But now I want to load specific swf files when the screen is refreshed or when someone clicks on the home or index. here is the code, can anyone point me in the right direction?
I created a flash banner, put it in to my server and don't know how to launch banner only one time then i come in to my website. It's lauching every time then i refreshing website or clicking menu items.
I have a .fla that has a preloader on frame one and the rest of the file on frames 2 thru 55. The preloader code is the one that comes in Flash cs5's sample files. there is a movie clip with the instance name lbar and text with the name lpc. here is the code

It works fine the first time people are on my site but when the page is refreshed or is gone back to sometimes the loader bar is just stuck and doesnt load.
I'm building a portfolio website for my design work. The whole website is Flash based. I have a Flash banner that I would like to add to the website but I can't seem to place it on stage. Is there a way to stream the banner? If I do that, how do I place it's location on stage?
I am a c# asp.net developer and need to implement a number of flash website banners. Previously for static image banners I have implemented on_click code behind or javascript to log the banner has been clicked back to a database and process the re-direction. I don't have much knowledge of flash other than I know that a flash program can handle on-click events of the program. I have made a Flash banner for my website using CS3 but I wanted to add a hyperlink to it so that when someone clicks on my banner it will bring them to a different page on my site, kinda like the way ad banners work on most websites on the net. I have the official Adobe CS3 Flash manual as well as another one on Flash CS3 just as thick but I can't seem to find anything in either that explains how I can do this.
Recently I designed and programmed a website.... and today I have come (this happens only in internet explorer web browser)Every other web browser like firefox, safari it's loads totally fine.click on the URL link below and click on any buttons in the navigation bar with your mouse cursor.As you can see a quick blink, the flash file is at the very top left hand side before its in the correct position. (underneath the nav bar)It seems that the wmode / transparent is causing it.If I remove wmode - it loads fine in ie.ut I need the transparent / wmode for the drop down menu to work (so its visible while the flash file is there.)
I need to display a Username in a Flash Banner in my website. The Site is PHP and the header is made in Flash. My requirement is that, when a user Logs in, his name should be displayed in the Top of the site (in the Flash banner here) like "Welcome User". Is it possible ? I purchased a flash website template and am in the process of editing my main.fla file. In order to get listed on an advertising website with a higher rating, I have to place a reciprocal link to them on my site. However, I cannot figure out how to place an html link/banner on my site for other businesses. If I paste the html code in a text box, all that shows up is the html code rather than the image and link it is meant to generate.
I have been building a website in dreamweaver, but have flash buttons which work fine. But the banner I have made in the page just has a white background. When I export it in flash it works, and when I preview in the dreamweaver browser it still works. I do not know what I have done wrong. Is the coding in the server wrong for the flash?

How do I make it so that it only reads the first part of hte code and then reads the next after the user clicks it the second time?
My flash banner is a sliding show with navigation made in AS3.I've checked it after uploading in internet explorer, firefox, chrome and safari and i tworked fine. My colleague checked it on his pc in internet explorer and he couldn't see it at allIs there any script, which can remove blocking or tell the user to do it or update th ebrowser.
I have two external swf files which I need to load to the main page of the website, one is the about page which consist mostly of text, the other is an image gallery.Both of them have the same intro animation at the beginning.
My problem is, while testing the main page using bandwidth profiler, the about page loads beautifully, while the image gallery plays its animation first before it even finalizes to load the whole page.

It's pretty common on many Architectural and Engineering sites to have a small movie on the home page. For example: URL... I've made similar movies for my websites using flash, and there always seems to be a lag and an image icon while the movie to loads. Here is a site where the movie loads unnoticeably: hensonarchitect com. Is there a way to use flash and have the movie load without an image icon placeholder? The flash movie that I have in mind is only 90kb, so a preloader isn't needed.
Im trying to create a banner similar to the one seen on this website:[URL].. It has numbers to take you through the images, previous/next tabs and it autoplays with a pause button also. All the pictures link to various places around the site, and i cannot find anywhere on how to go about creaating something like this.

i'm recently creating a full browser flash website. the important thing is: the stage.height should never be smaller than 768px because things are cut then. but how to tell actionscript not to make the stage.height smaller than 768 onResize? i've tried the following things, but they don't work:
