Horizontal Banner Repeat Without White Stage Showing Inbetween Motions?

Using Flash CS4 trial I am trying to make a banner on one time line.I have 6 photos on one time line with a right to left motion tween, and I would like it to repeat it without the white space of the stage appearing inbetween instances.I have tried it with two time lines also, but to no avail.Basically I would like it to repeat picture 1 again from the right side of the stage directly after picture 6 has left the left hand side of the stage without white space.
Also have problems selecting the bez curve, to drag a motion, so far I find if I create a key frame at the end of the timeline and click a couple of times on the mouse (not consistant) then hold the left mouse button down for a few seconds it some times turns the white circle green, then I can move it? but as I said not very consistant.

I'm unable to remove the white space between SWF's on a HTML page.
I know about using 'block' in the CSS, but as it's horizontal that doesn't seem to work. I've also added "0" for border to no avail.

I am having an issue with my swf files just showing up as a white background when embedded into dreamweaver. I am embedding them into a tabbed panel. The .swf files display fine when opened directly and viewed in web browser or flash player.[code]...

I have an Image object that gets resized to the containers size when the image loads.The images that it will load are dynamic in size so after resize I end up with a sliver of the image object's white background showing.How can I make the Image object not have a white background and be transparent.Parts of the PNG's have transparent parts but show up as white due to the white background of the object is it loaded into.

I want to incorporate a scrolling image banner into my website, and found a great tutorial on youtube which works well.I can't post a link unfortunately.It is a pretty basic image scroller that has a series of images scrolling across the screen in an infinite loop. Direction is controlled by mouse position (extreme left or right), and it will stop when the mouse is positioned over an image in the center area.Here's the code:

After trying to figure this out through forums such as this for days, it seems that my answer is to use XML (which I do not know, and which I think would require completely starting over).Is there any way to do this in AS3?
Again, I'm a novice user, but understand the basic animation tools of flash to feel comfortable using it as the platform to make this work. I'd like to be able to switch out images/links as necessary, and feel good about my ability to use flash to do that.

I built a banner ad which works fine when I test it in flash. I then put it inside another flash movie in which it is loaded as an external swf ,my portfolio, and it it loads and only runs the 1st line of code animation and I can see the text that is waiting (outside the visual dimensions of the bannerI am also getting this error....what is going on?ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property cachedOrphan not found on com.greensock.TweenMax and there is no default value.

I want have a mc called LDL travelling across the page and as soon as it comes into a specific range on the page ( drops the cholesterol off at a random point in this range) I want the cholesterol molecule to fall and build up on the bottom of the page and on top of eachother.
I managaned to get the LDL moving and the cholesterol molecules falling when I select the no and press the button, but only 1 cholesterol ball stops, the rest just pass through.

I uploaded several intro slide shows onto a black background. They work fine, but take awhile to load (once viewed and go back-they load much quicker). While waiting to load, the stage area is white. However when I created them, I made sure the stage area was black.what I might do to correct this? I just think it would look much better if everything was black until the show appearsThe shows were created in Flash CS 4(ActionScript 3.0), & the site was created in Dreamweaver CS 4.

I have a simple movie of a person - torso, arms, legs, each on a separate layer. I'm adding a walk cycle and use tweens to move the arms and legs. This works fine when I export to an swf. But when I group and try to export to a movieclip, the arms jump way up. This seems like a simple problem of adjusting coordinates, origins, etc. But I'm kind of a newbie, so does someone have a suggestion for me? How do I export to a movieclip and have it playback the same as when exporting to a swf?

I have developed a Flash slideshow that loads 6 images from the web server using an xml loader (the image names are in anxml file), then loads these images into an array. I have an xmlloader to read the xml file, and a Loader that loads the images from the array,and then changes the images every 4 secs or so.
My problem is that when the web page is opened from a client, the space where the flash object is located (in a table)flashes white until the images are loaded. I thought I could fix the problem by making the stage the same color as the background on the web page. No dice, I still see a white box (800x320 px) that is the size of the stage, and the size of the images.When I compile it on my computer, if I look fast I can see a quick flash of white just before the images load!I did not develop the page, but put the Flash code in the index.html page.There is quite a lot of javascript on this page, maybe developed in Dreamweaver.I can attach the action script code if desired, for more clarification. Let me know on this.Basically, the images reside in a folder on the web server, the xml file has the image names, the xml loader reads the xml file,and when it is complete, goes to a routine that takes the name of the image from an xml list I create, and then loads an array.I load the image into the loader, etc. This is clearer with the code. I am using CS4 and a document class, slides.as.

I currently have a button that triggers an event merging the movieclips on stage into one sprite, and passing it to a printer class. The printer class looks as follows:

"How many motion tweens can you have on a timeline." Yup. The answer is one...... or is it? I had a long discussion with my tutor (who is the greatest tutor in the world) and he wanted to think about it. I said to him that I thought that one motion tween was wrong because you can click on an object in the timeline, make it a motion tween, and double click it and make several motion tweens. So, essentially, you can have more than one motion tween on a timeline.

I've got an application which gives the viewer the capability to create a design then further customize it with their own art, i.e. a logo, which can be a .jpg, .gif or .png. I may narrow the file options down, but right now I'm finding when one prints this design (I have a "print" button as well) any transparent .png file that's in this design prints out with a white "box" that is obviously the canvas on which said .png was designed.

I am doing a presentation demonstrating hardware components. For that I have used frame by frame animation for showing components. The explanation for these components are done as subtitle scrolling. It is created using actionscript 3 motion. The particular subtitle text will be generated according to the currentFrame. When I pause the entire movie i need to pause the scrolling text that i created using action script. I was searching for a week , how to do this. Is there event to identify whether main movie is stopped or paused. Or any other way to do this. The child movies and sound i added in time line should be paused while pausing the movie....

I defined 2 different motions for an object in Flash, saved them as Presets and then copied each as Actionscript 3.0 and pasted them seperately into a code frame 2 on my timeline. I was thinking that with Actionscript I should be able to select between two motions given certain conditions. Here's what I got:

There was a flash motion already defined for the digitB1_mc. The trace statement fired showing this code was executed. But the default flash motion executed, not this one. I know that at previous times, I have fooled around and got similar code to work. But why not this? It's like it ignores this motion altogether. Note also: When I remove the default Flash motion and run the test, digitB1_mc does NOT move at all, again ignoring this code(which the trace stmt says is executing).

Im doing a project that works with lots of tweens im having always the same problem when i call Tweens to execute in the same frame..The Tween most of the times freez before this motion end.I fixed the tween for the background... but for that i had to put the tween in another frame and call that frame from my home Frame..Now im trying to do some Tweens with some buttons, but it most of the time freez before the motion ends.Should i forget to use Tweens in the same frames?

How do you set stage.align to center (vertical and horizontal)? StageAlign only defines corners and edges, but I know that centered is possible because that's the default behavior?

I am making a small banner that is populated with text, and slides across the stage. There are 3 attributes in the xml:
One for the message to be displayed
One for the link and one for the target (window).
All works very well...except for one thing. In AS2 I was able to replace a link if I needed,
with a asFunction in order to trigger a function in the main timeline. This bit isn't working. So asFunction was replaced with a text event, tho this won't work for me here, I think...

how would I go about creating a flash application that has the ability of extending beyond its object width and height on a page? I've seen those crazy flash ads which beg you to hover over them only to have it take over 3/4 of the page you are viewing. How are they doing that? Is it a combination of Javascript and Flash? Or, is it actually a really big stage that is somehow hidden in the HTML? Or (better yet) is there a magic way of pushing flash objects beyond the stage and out into the HTML?

I'm a total beginner at ActionScript, and I'm running into a big problem with a Flash banner I'm writing. The problem is that my Stage width and height appear to be much smaller than the width and height specified in my <object> and <embed> tags of the HTML. My goal is to get the Stage width and height to be equal to the <object> and <embed> width and height, so that I can make commercial banners with full-size backgrounds.
The width x height specified in the <object> and <embed> tags is 400 x 300. To force the Stage to be 400 x 300, I've added a 400 x 300 TextField as a child of my main Sprite object. As a diagnostic, I even printed the Stage's width and height as part of the TextField text content -- which confirmed that the Stage thinks it's at 400 x 300. I've tried different things to get it to work. I've tried playing around with the Stage's scaleMode property, using all the possible different values, but still the problem persists. Still, when viewed on the web page, the width and height of the Stage appears much smaller than the <object> and/or <embed> tags which contains the Flash content area. I know this because I'm using colored backgrounds as a diagnostic.

I'm trying to make a banner with a small game where you control a trash can, and you try to catch some trash falling down the stage. Also I got a dynamic text field on my stage called "tekst", where I want my counter to be shown. At last I'm trying to make a if sentence saying that if etc. counter<10 go to url. When I run it now, the trash is moving all right, but I can't get the hitTestObject to work, its saying that hitTestObject is not a function? How to export my counter to the text field on the stage.
