Sep 17, 2009i need to make several banners for individual pages of a web site. The banners will each contain different images that i want to have fade in the same way. Also, over the images will be the title of the page. I would like to load the images and text by xml.I was using the uiloader (loading images from a url) but could not figure out how use the xml file as source.Also, for the animation,is there anyway to apply a transition to the uiloader? Is the uiloader even the best way to load xml?

Aug 1, 2009When I click on different pages in my flash, for a split second, a white flash shows up, almost as if it's just a blank white page. How can I stop this from happening? It only seems to happen when I loaded the flash into an HTML document. Is there a code I can put in th actionscript to stop it?

Aug 3, 2011I have an Image object that gets resized to the containers size when the image loads.The images that it will load are dynamic in size so after resize I end up with a sliver of the image object's white background showing.How can I make the Image object not have a white background and be transparent.Parts of the PNG's have transparent parts but show up as white due to the white background of the object is it loaded into.

Horizontal Banner Repeat Without White Stage Showing Inbetween Motions?
Dec 9, 2009Using Flash CS4 trial I am trying to make a banner on one time line.I have 6 photos on one time line with a right to left motion tween, and I would like it to repeat it without the white space of the stage appearing inbetween instances.I have tried it with two time lines also, but to no avail.Basically I would like it to repeat picture 1 again from the right side of the stage directly after picture 6 has left the left hand side of the stage without white space.
Also have problems selecting the bez curve, to drag a motion, so far I find if I create a key frame at the end of the timeline and click a couple of times on the mouse (not consistant) then hold the left mouse button down for a few seconds it some times turns the white circle green, then I can move it? but as I said not very consistant.

Both .SWF files are embedded in HTML using the script provided by Adobe on object export. I created both in Flash CS4, but I have very little knowledge of flash. Aug 23, 2011For a current project I need to create 25 versions of 5 different banner sizes. By version, I mean having slightly different content, namely: a different image and different text somewhere in the banner.
Let's, for this question, suppose I'll make sure somehow that said images and texts will all fit fine in the design for that particular size, so that I could create some sort of template per size, with some sort of placeholders for them. What is an efficient method, if any, to automate the rendering of these differing versions per size? Is it possible?

Feb 5, 2010I'm trying out a page-flip program that tells me to create the pages as jpegs within a folder named "pages" in the Library. When I try to run it, it tells me it can't find the jpegs. I can get it to work locally by including the full URL (i.e., "...My Documentsedinnerpartiesimagesp3-large.jpg), but I know this isn't embedded in the swf file.

The problem is that they might not load at the same time. How can I get each banner to check that the other has finished loading before playing?

Its quite simple there is a bouncing ball that bounces from one banner to another. I need a simple script so one one .swf finishes another will start. Obviously I need onload an stop so they work correctly in sync with page loads.
