There is pixelation on this flash banner it seems to pop up about 10% of the time. It is not because of the browser my guess is the screen resolution, or other applications that are installed into the browser. The file was made with After Effects. How can I fix it?[code]

I would like to have a flash intro that then turns into the header/banner (size wise) with my (html) site loading below it. I'm not sure if this is possible or how to go about it, the idea is that it looks very fluid and slick.

I want to have a banner with text. I want to be able to edit the text on the banner. When I edit the text, I want the new text to display instantaneously, for everyone who is viewing the banner. They don't need to refresh or anything; the banner changes as soon as I edit it.
View 8 RepliesI imported a clean looking high-res jpeg into Flash CS4.Then using properties, I reduced it with the position and size function.I reduced it by half.When I do this, the image is not clean and sharp any more but pixelly.In the image the arrow points to the reduced image on the stage and when previewed.Also, you'll see the size numbers display too.If I need to reduce images and logos like this, is there a better way to do this so the image looks sharp when reduced?I am only interested in knowing how to do this using the "tools" not actionscript.
View 5 RepliesI have some high res images that I am zooming in and out of, I have smoothing enabled that works fine when zooming in on the image, but when I zoom out and make the image smaller it pixelates it really badly. Is there any way i can resample the image or make the smoothing better when the image is small?

I've loaded a video into the FLVPlayback component and I'm looking for a way to get the total time and the time played so far and output them to two text fields so the end result would look something like "00:12/00:50".
Right now I'm defining the video by the components inspector but I'm eventually hoping to define this bit by actionscript as well.
I am trying to create a flash banner ad that loads when a page loads and gives the user the option to minimize it. When the ad is minimized, I wanted to leave a box (that could also function as a mini version of the larger ad)that could be clicked and reload the ad if desired.
I have been struggling with how to do this. I tried creating two movies, one for the main ad and one for the smaller box that remains after the ad is minimized. I inserted the object code for the larger ad into my html and it loads and will load the smaller ad then the button (for minimizing the ad) is clicked but the smaller ad loads in the area defined by the object code for the larger ad. I am not sure how to work around this.
What I am trying to accomplish is two simple analogue world clocks (which I had already done using Jquery) but IE has turned out to be the biggest nightmare to get this working correctly in - so I am trying a different avenue.

View 3 RepliesI'm trying to loop a Flash Banner ad. I added the code to the first and last frames on a separate action layer on the main timeline, but it's not working.
I'm using actionscript 2.0/CS4.
I have a stop action on the last frame of the last text movieclip that plays. And it seems to get hung up here. When I remove the stop action it just loops that movieclip and not the whole animation.
This is the code I'm using in the first frame of the main timeline.

I have flash as part of the adobe suite but am yet to have a real go at it. If I was to buy a third party flash banner say with a size of 100x250 and wanted to add text to it so it would then be 100x350, is this an easy process?

View 3 RepliesI have been trying to create a gif web banner using flash. Everything look great in flash, flash player and quicktime but when I export or publish as a gif my background image is grainy and pixelated. My document is saved as 500X90. My background image was saved out of photoshop as 72 dpi. 500X90. I tried saving the image as .tif, .png, .jpg, all with the same result.
I'm not sure if this is the problem or not as I'm a freshman user but I have the background image running on its own timeline that runs the length of the movie. Also the animated text/symbols created in flash look perfect when I save it as a gif the only thing effected is the background image. I'm stuck, I have looked all over the web for the answer. On a side note I'm using a Mac running os x 10.4.11
I have a pretty simple flash banner(using flash cs4) that I want ot make clickable.I am assuming I have everything correct, because when I "test movie", everything works as expected.Now comes the odd part. When I export movie, the clickable portion no longer works. Along the same lines as soon as I save the .fla file, the "test movie" no longer works.I have recreated this about 10 times now and everytime the same result. now I have it open on my computer, because as soon as I save it will no longer work.
