I'm trying to make a game that's a top down shooter kind of like Asteroids, but there are no asteroids, just enemy ships. Anyway, I'm trying to make a radar for it. The area for the ships to shoot eachother in is 2400 pixels length and height. The stage is 650 x 500 pixels. The radar works fine for when I'm traveling up and down, but the enemy ships on the radar move in the opposite direction as the enemy ships on the screen when I move left to right. When I move left the enemy ships on the radar also go right, instead of left.[code]this code is called from a move objects function which is an ENTER_FRAME event if that helps any.

Now, when it scales, it scales from the movieclip var registration point of 0,0. So when it scales, it appears to grow in two directions (down and to the right)Is there a way to have it scale from the center of the box so that it scales equally in all 4 directions?

I want to add another short string inside it... (for example : 01 or something). But this short string always has to apear just before the dot, like:

I have simple sliding pages mechanism in my flash file, all done with AS3 code. Now the pages, which are movieclips, are slid off the screen on a button press. Sometimes, everything goes smoothly, but on some people's computers the sliding pages get stuck in the middle, and then the next slide starts from the wrong position. This throws everything off the loop.

I'm using the netstream and video object to play a video in flash. Specifically a mp4 video.
What I'm trying to do is start playing the file from a specific position (Ex. 20seconds).
However with netstreamObject.seek(20) doesn't work unless the stream has been loaded past 20seconds. Is there a way to specify starting to load at 20s? Or any other way of accomplishing this?

I've got them scaling to the size I want but the middle and right boxes are scaling in the wrong direction: I need the middle one to scale out from the centre and the right one to scale out towards the left from the top right (ie the reverse of what the left one does).
