i have a mission to deliver some SWF compiled in a third party application to iOS system. i install FMS 4 streaming edition and now try to send a path to my SFW like parameter to my player. but it doesn't want to play it.

View 1 RepliesI'm trying to make a software which sends video and audio data to a flash media server by using RTMP protocol. Currently, my program can communicate with a flash media server correctly. RTMP specifications does not describe about the raw data in video/audio messages, so I muxed raw H.264 and AAC data into video/audio messages and sent to the server. The server seems to accept them, but a video player cannot playback the stream sending from the server. The player just says "Loading..." For a test purpose, I sniffed the network packets between Wirecast and the flash media server and ripped off only video and audio data. Then, I muxed those data into video/audio message and sent to the flash media server. In this case, the video player connected to the server can playback the stream correctly.
I checked the stream sent from Wirecast, the stream seems not to be H.264 raw data because those data are not started from 0x17 instead of H.264 start code. With those situation, I am wondering what kind of container format I should use for H.264/AAC data to the flash media server.
So I've created a script where a mc is clicked on and the player can draw a path using the mouse. I'm trying to figure out how I can get the mc to follow the path drawn out by the player's mouse and when the player clicks again, it erases all of the path.my code is below

I am recording a video and while recording I issue some NetStream.send("doSomething", params) commands from client side. When I am playing back this video I receive the doSomething events on client side. No problems so far.Can I receive those events on server side? I want to handle those events on server side. Not client side.
View 2 RepliesI am trying to create a flash player to stream an on online Internet radio station using FMS. I chose FMS after being told that I need RTMP server to extract the metadata. Our radio audio is being encoded using a DJ interface called SAM Broadcaster. But for some reason, it does not have an option to send over the stream directly to a Flash Media Server. Only options are either IceCAST or ShoutCAST. How should i setup the stream? Should it be Stream encoder>> IceCAST/SHOUTCast Server>>Flash Media Server>>Flash Player Client. Or should I setup Stream Encoder>>Flash Media Server>>Flash Player Client? Shouldn't Flash Media Server be an alternative to IceCast or Shoutcast? If that is the case, how do I send over the stream from SAM Broadcaster directly to Flash Media Server without restreaming through another streaming server?

Is there somethign I'm supposed to install on FMS to get it to play properly?
WHat should my path be? I've been told that the flv are living in the fms/applications/storyvideos/streams/videos folder.
I've tried every combination of paths I can think of.
I understand that the Flash Interactiver Server has this feature called 'Adobe Media Player Tracking Service' which the free version dosen't have. Any idea what ' Adobe Media Player Tracking Service' is and what it does

the FMS server is streaming videos only when the path doesn't have the flv extension with the video. In case I put the .flv extension, it connects to the RTMP server but doesn't streams the video. How can I make it stream even if the video has .flv extension?
View 2 RepliesI am using OSMF v1.0 along with FMS 3.5.3 and flash player 10.1. Whenever i do a seek, lets say to a time 't'. Netstream.time gives me an incorrect result which is more than 1.5*t (varies). So if i seek to 100, i get netstream.time as approx. 160. I also noticed, 'NetStream.info.VideoBufferLength' goes very high (from around 3-4 to 50-60) just before the Netstream.time parameter gets updated and drops backs after update.

There is a folder named public in the root directory. In the "public" folder we have a folder named Recorded_Videos, I need to place the recorded videos on this folder. How can I do this.Another issue that occurs while recording is NetStream.Record.noAccess. This is occuring while the recorded video is placing on client's flash media server with the path that i specified above. But when i running it in the local flash media server(developer version), its working well. The recorded files are placed on live_test folder. View 6 RepliesI need to display large number of streams in one flash player. In order to minimize cpu load i want to display only intra frames in h264 video. I have tired receiveVideoFPS method of netstream with value 1 and 2 but it is not giving the correct result.
In wowza server i tired recieveVideFPS with value -3 and it is giving the correct result as i want but after some time flash player crashes in all the browsers and in air too.
Would I be able to send a image using NetStream or NetConnection?

When a connect to the app using rtmp I am able to see the send come thru but if the app uses rtmfp it does notI gone thru all the examples in setting up a mutlicast app and I know the app works because when I publish a video out everyone in the group sees the video. The only thing not working is send. I've also set dataReliable to true.
