Why didn't my Flash version change after I invoked the update alert on 08/12/10. I had V 10.1.53.64 and your website shows the latest recommended to be V 10.1.82.76. After the update it shows mine still unchanged.
My system particulars are:
XP SP2 32 bit
IE V6.0.2900 32 bit
My agency would like to handle updates manually rather thenhave users (appox. 1000+ users in one physical location) prompted toupdate the Flash
View 4 RepliesI am deploying Updates via SCUP and SCCM to hundreds of Computers. Fortunately Adobe provides an SCCM Update Catalog for both Adobe Flash ActiveX and Adobe Flash Plugin. But now my Problem: After publishing the Update via SCCM, the client is not supposed to be interfered with the Update Progress (which is working) I figured the Updater works like this: First SCCM checks if a Update needs to be deployed, if this is the case, The Flash Updater begins. First the old Flash Version is beeing uninstalled. But now: if the Client has a Browser Window (IE, or Firefox) open, the Updater is not able to install the new Flash Version and quits with an Error. This leaves the Client PC without any Flash (because its being uninstalled before) How can I prevent Flash being uninstalled due to the Update progress not working while a Browser window is open?

Mostly it is used for user-entered and dynamic content.However, CS5 is auto-embedding the few characters I use in Arial, and all of the other characters are no longer showing up in the swf file.The only fix seems to be embedding the entire Arial font in the movie, which is too large since I want to be able to support all kinds of characters.Is there a way to turn off auto-font embedding?This feature seems well-intentioned but critically flawed if it can't be turned off.

According to System.capabilities.version, it's running v10.1.52.14 which, according to this page on the Adobe site, says was a pre-release version of Flash Player and should not be used! It also seems to have an annoying bug where HTML tags are frequently shown as raw HTML, rather than being rendered, which makes testing stuff in the IDE a real pain.

The application is written using Flex.I'm using Windows 7 (32-bit), but it has crashed on Windows Vista (32-bit) as well. It crashes on IE8, Firefox 3.6, and Chrome 9.However, it does not crash when using the debug version of the Flash Player.I've tried enabling and disabling the hardware acceleration. I've also updated my video drivers to the latest version.The Event Viewer shows the following when IE crashes:

I'm new to Flash and PHP. I'm using the FlashBuilder with PHP product. I have a data grid that is connected to a PHP script that retrieves and updates data via the 'Enable Data Management' function. If I modify data on the grid by using the screen and call .commit(), everything works OK.
However I would like to programmatically change some of the values in the data that underly the grid and have those changes get back to the update function in the PHP script when commit(). is called. But I can't figure out how to change the underlying data.
Here's the code I've tried: (the object that I pass back and forth to the PHP script is call MailPiece. I want to set the WORKORDERNUMBER field on each row of the data)
