I made changes to the file and attempted to load it into my browser (IE) but it only loads the file from before I made the changes. I published the file and even cleared my cache. I double checked the location and it looks fine.

I have an .fla file where I'm trying to change some of the links. Say it currently goes to index-1.html and I want to change to aboutus.html.
I can't seem to locate where the actual link designation is .. from the documentation on Flash forums it should be in Actions, however I can't seem to find it.
I am deploying Updates via SCUP and SCCM to hundreds of Computers. Fortunately Adobe provides an SCCM Update Catalog for both Adobe Flash ActiveX and Adobe Flash Plugin. But now my Problem: After publishing the Update via SCCM, the client is not supposed to be interfered with the Update Progress (which is working) I figured the Updater works like this: First SCCM checks if a Update needs to be deployed, if this is the case, The Flash Updater begins. First the old Flash Version is beeing uninstalled. But now: if the Client has a Browser Window (IE, or Firefox) open, the Updater is not able to install the new Flash Version and quits with an Error. This leaves the Client PC without any Flash (because its being uninstalled before) How can I prevent Flash being uninstalled due to the Update progress not working while a Browser window is open?

another thing: When im doing a video and work with things that are outside of my white document (in the gray area) for instance things that are to be faded into the document and so on. These things also show up in outside of my video when i view it in my browser.
I have a flash file using xml to link to html pages all within SharePoint. When I click on a link from inside flash, it opens up a new browser window with the html content.Is there a way to open the html content in the same browser that the flash file is in?
View 6 RepliesI have a problem with a swf file which will not play in web browser.It played fine until I updated my site.I tried typing the absolute path to the swf file in the browser address bar and found it straight away. When I clicked on it the screen stayed blank.I checked the path to the file and the flv file was relative to the document and not the site.
swf plays fine in flash player, flash, and locally on dreamweaver.I moved the swf up the file tree and changed the links accordingly but still would not play.I also tried saving it as a new swf from flash, but that doesn't play either.I added another swf to the containing folder and that played fine in the browser.When I open the fla file in flash it only shows a flv playback movie, not the elements, I think this is because it was created in after effects.Here is the link to the containing folder, the swf file is Home_page_movie_V2.swf

View 3 Repliesiv been having this problem with swf file iv created, it consist of images somewhat like a gallery. when played offline it works smoothly, navigating frame to frame / image by image. iv used AS3 to compose the animations in my flash file. now my problem is when its uploaded online, the swf is shown but once iv clicked on a link to proceed on showing the gallery it lags and continously loop when it should actualy stop on a frame and wait till the next button is clicked to procced to the next image. plus the animation iv added in doesn't seem to working at all.

Recently I designed and programmed a website.... and today I have come (this happens only in internet explorer web browser)Every other web browser like firefox, safari it's loads totally fine.click on the URL link below and click on any buttons in the navigation bar with your mouse cursor.As you can see a quick blink, the flash file is at the very top left hand side before its in the correct position. (underneath the nav bar)It seems that the wmode / transparent is causing it.If I remove wmode - it loads fine in ie.ut I need the transparent / wmode for the drop down menu to work (so its visible while the flash file is there.)
View 41 RepliesI've created an eBook that's 972 X 500 pixels (13.5" X 7"). The image in the browser is roughly 9.5 inches wide. Is there a way to make the browser display the image at actual size? Am I missing something here? The SWF file does print out at the true size from the browser.

View 3 RepliesJust thought I'd share that after the windows update I did this week, the browser cache blocking trick described in many places where you put ?r=<randomnumber> at the end of a URL no longer works. Not exactly sure what happened, but it now causes a URL not found error, at least for me when I'm loading local files off my disk.
