How to default a "zoom" percent? with the short cut command ctrl++Right now the option is 25%, 50%, 100%, 200%, 400%, 800% etc while toggling the zoom command using ctrl + +I can wish that list of zooms had a "150%" When I toggle the zoom with ctrl + +, going from 100% view to 200% is way too abrupt. I feel like my view is being slammed in vs get a slightly closer look. I know you can type in the zoom % at the dialog box but I was hoping for a while to actually default a zoom%

I have a flash file, where I want to use default zoom function from Flash menu in swf player. Clicking "Zoom In", zooms into the swf file. Then when I try to use drag from mouse to change visible area, it does not work on top of moviclips. This works fine in Flash as2 file.

I want to have 8 cards on the stage, each card represents an animal and if you click on that card, it will flip over and zoom to fill the screen. When it flips over it will give a fun fact about that animal and in the lower right corner it wil have a 'close' button to bring you back to the stage where the other cards are.

It was a pleasant surprise to know that Flash Professional CS5 supports keyboard shortcut remapping, however I can't seem to get it to map Ctrl+Mouse wheel Up as Zoom in, and Ctrl+Mouse Wheel Down as zoom out...

I have an project that when you enter a certain number and click a ''enter'' button, it send you to an image (forest picture, desert picture, town picture, etc). In these pictures, I've hidded some object. In exemple, in the forest picture, there's some blue birds, red birds, green birds, etc. I want people to find them and click on them to get some information about these birds. The thing is that these birds are hidden. When I open my picture with windows viewer, i can zoom-in and find them with the little hand toolso everything is fine cause I can find them. The problem is that when I export my project as an animation, we can't find the birds because we cant's zoom in. My question is, is there a way to zoom-in these images and navigate trought them (with the little hand tool) like we can do with windows viewer? Or is there a way to just Zoom-in my animation?

When I zoom out, instead of centering the document on my zoom, it pushes the doc to the upper left corner. It is pretty maddening, as I am zooming in and out a lot.
Is there a way to manually center the artboard?

I have both CS3 and CS4, I now work only in CS4 with some exceptions. If I open CS4 start a new project then save after working in it the file saves with the cs3 icon. When I doubleclick the file to open it defaults back to opening in CS3.Only way to have files default and open in CS4 is to choose the icon of the CS3 (which is really a CS4 file) and choose open with other, choose the CS4 app and click on it so it opens in CS4 and then only does the icon changes to a cs4 icon.

i've made a button that zooms into a movie clip on a rollover, but it on moves it a certain amount each time you rollover the button. code below:

wot i want it to do is to continue zooming in for as long as the mouse is over the button, is there anyway i can change the code to zoom in at the same amount but do it continuously until the mouse is moved off the button. Also is there anyway that i can set it so that the zoom stops at a certain percentage, i.e. it only zooms in so much and then stops. What i mean is that the user can zoom in but the picture will only zoom in to say 200% of the original size.

I am working on flash application TELESCOPE or Camera. My goal is to move around the scene and zoom-in or zoom-out I found that if I move scene, I have to move registration point, because I always want to zoom in the centre of my ocular. So far application works fine only if I move, zoom-in and than before I move any further, zoom-out! But when I move, zoom-in (not fully), move again and zoom-in again, the second zooming doesn't appear on desirable registration point

I'm trying to create a little slideshow with photos. I created a little animation on every photo (a really subtle zoom-in or zoom-out effect) and transition using alpha transparency.
But some photos will flicker very bad. Expecially photos containing elements like grids or straight lines. Only really blurred pictures will render well.
I already raised FPS up to 60 but flicker still occurs.
I'm using flash8. Will another flash version (which?) render the movie in a better way?

How to display new scene on top of the browser as default I have a flash animation with 15 scenes, On main page there are many links and user has to browse vertically using browser scrollbar, when a user clicks on a link which is at the bottom and goes to that page the position of scrollbar is same as that was on main page (scene), I want the new scene to be opened at top of the browser as default.

I have some text form fields that I've set up to display some paired variables stored in a .txt file. When the swf loads, the form fields are populated with the text.I've also set it up so that if you change the text and hit a submit button, the .txt file gets updatedI'm now tryng to set it up so that I can store radio button selections in the .txt file too.I've started doing it a certain way, but am wondering if there is a more straightforward way of doing I've set up the butttons to spit out "on" or "off" depending on the selection, and apply that to the variable that gets stored.the text form fields when the swf is refreshed, I want to load the on/off variable, and then somehow apply it to the radio buttons so that one of them is pre-selected.

I'm using an open-source Flash mp3 player. In comes in two swf versions. One plays a list of songs and displays the album cover(s). The other version just plays one song. The problem is that the single-song version loads some default text that I want to change (I was able to do this in the other version via the external playlist file). I'm a Flash newbie, and when I open the fla file the player's author provides, I can't find where this default text is located. (The playlist version works fine; its default text relates to what the user will get when they click on the file titles.)

Is there anyway to make graphics always default to Single Frame instead of Loop when you drag them from library to stage? It's kind of a pain to go to Properties > Looping > Options: Single Frame every time I drag a graphic instance.

I have a movie clip of all counties in the state of Montana (allcnt_mc). Within allcnt_mc there are individual movie clips specific to each county with name equal to the county's name. When clicking on a county, I'd like to zoom to that county and center the stage on it. I've added event listeners to all counties through querying an xml table that has demographic info I am calling into dynamic text boxes. Here is the code I have thus far to load the xml and add the listeners to the county movie clips.

Im currently designing a map with a drag and drop action as well as a zoom in and out with the mouse wheel, my problem is that when i drag and drop my image and then go to zoom in or out the image will automatically reposition itself back to the center, im wanting to be able to drag the image which is converted to a MC anywhere in my masked box then zoom in and out on that area that is shown is the masked box,
