Sep 11, 2009I want to record my pc's sound use flash to the FMS,that is, when i play a music by Windows Media Player, I can record the sound to the FMS,anyone has an idea?

Mar 15, 2010doing sound recording and playback in flash. I found this code from a tutorial and converted it to a flash document. From my traces, the record functions seem to be called. But when I try to play back the data, it tells me that the byteArray is empty. I've tested and I know that my microphone is working.
When I trace the size of the ByteArray, it returns 0;
So why does no data get recorded into the ByteArray?

Feb 23, 2011I have been recording flv using FMS. Till now pretty good. Both cam feed and mic feed are being recorded, but I am aslo playing a song in the same swf, but anyhow it is being discarded.
Everytime while recording I hear the music playing, but flv only records the cam feed and mic feed, the song is not at all recorded.

Professional :: Loading With Sound Only Played Once But Keeping Hover Over Menu Item Sound Intack?
May 21, 2010I have a flash header that was never completed because the guy I hired took people's money and ran. So now I even wonder if what he said could work with my flash header is true or not. But, usually there is always a way to make it work.I have a flash header that does two important things: 1) Upon entering the site, it loads and plays an audio track 2) Makes an animal noise when you hover over each animal menu item. (not sure if I'm able to give a link to it or not on here. If I able to and someone would like to see it let me know)I want to know if my flash header can support the following addionalunctionality/changes:1) Currently, it loads everytime a page is selected. I only want it to load the one time of entering the site because the audio gets annoying. Set a cookie maybe?2) But, I do not want to turn the audio off completely because I still want the hover over each menu item sound.
3) Have a link on it to allow them to select to turn on / off the sound completely. It currently has that, but only for the current page. Once you select another page, the audio is back to on.4) Lastlly, is there a way for it to detect that someone doesn't support flash and to display an html version of it? And can flash create a html version from my fla file?I don't know much about flash (but am learning) so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do this myself. However, I want to find out if my flash header will even work this way before I invest the time learning it just for these changes. I know it will be pretty deep with script code, but I'm hoping I could find base code already available for these features.

Jul 29, 2010I am working a lot with adobe recently but its the first time for flash. i have been searching the net for the past hours but didnt find whatwhat i need is a small animation that records the pen movements i make as a visible path. I want to sketch a logo for a company and want the the logo to look like its being drawn on the spot for the presentation.all i could come up with is make a dot, next frame next dot next frame next dot and so on. but that does not only look like crap it also doesnt seem like the brightest choice to me.

Apr 11, 2012I develop failover fms application with server-side action script. But i have a problem that FMS can't continue to record stream with record mode "append".
Environment: FMS 4.5.1 r484 on CentOS 5.5/6.0
Goals:
I have 2 same data streams in failover application and republish primary to livepkgr application.
I have to store of last 10 hours intact recorded video (DVR).
Failover app logic:
1. I create NetConnection and NetStream to livepackager;
2. When primary stream is connected it attach the primary stream to livePackager NetStream
3. If primary stream is disconnected it reattach the backup stream to livePackager NetStream
Problem: I have testing environment. It stop primary stream every 5 min, and started primary stream 5 min after stopping.
It work's, fine, but after a few hours testing LIVEPACKAGER falls. It can't record a stream, NetStream.Record.Start -> NetStream.Record.NoAccess -> NetStream.Record.Stop
Search a solution: I try to relaunch recording process and have no success. try to shutdown/start livepackager, it's same, try to restart server, same no success.
I cant stream.clear() or record with mode "record" cause it clears my dvr cache, I cant clean stream directory in livepackager application.

Flash :: Professional - Importing Sound Into CS4
Feb 15, 2009so i've just been learning flash and i'm really enjoying it, i have got to a point when i want to import sound but when i do. i get the following message... "one or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them." i am using windows xp and i have had this problem trying .aif and .mp3. (i haven't tried any other types but i think these should work anyway)
does anybody know why it isn't working? is it because i don't have the latest media players that flash uses? if so do you know which media player i should have? or is it something else?
Flash :: Professional - Using Sound In The Timeline In CS5
Jun 2, 2010I'm trying out FlashCS5 in an iMac running Snow Leopard. I'm putting in the timeline an mp3 sound I imported to the library. When I test the movie I get this message: When I test the swf, I get no animation and no sound. I tried changing the settings in the Advanced AS3 Settings to Default Linkage to from "Runtime Shared Libraries" to "Merged int code". The message goes away but the test still fails.

Jul 27, 2011I have an mp3 file of a song i downloaded from [URL]. i tested it to make sure it wasn't a virus or anything like that- but wheneever i click file->import to library i select the mp3 file and an error comes up saying that it wasn't able to be imported! I don't understand why it willnot im[ort into flash. Im using actionscript 3.0 by the way. and it has the same error message when i try to import any song into flash.
