I'm working on a Flash presentation, and I have a lot of text pages with buttons and movie clips on. The problem I have is that all subheads are set to size 35pt using Helvetica Neue Heavy, but on a couple of the pages a random subhead is displaying a lot larger than 35pt (I'd say 50pt) but it is definitely set to size 35pt in the Character palette. I have no idea why this is happening and it's driving me mad.
View 1 RepliesI have made a flash banner in flash cs4. Everything is ok except that it displays the wrong font when viewing the webpage in ie7 on a pc. The font in the swf file is a mac only font but the text that it is displaying is a graphic symbol. Do i need to embed this font in the swf file?
View 1 RepliesI have a full screen flash movie that loads and displays correctly in firefox and chrome. In IE, however, it displays at 1/3 the width. The embedded code is relatively simple:

IE respects the height, but I would really like to use 100% height. What could I be doing wrong?

Whenever I test or publish a CS5 movie that uses TLF text (no matter which font), the .swf displays all elements but the text. There's simply nothing there. I'm on a mac with Snow Leopard, 10.6.7. This only happens as soon as I pass the 1000 frame limit (before, everything displays fine). Reaching wit's end here. Anyone know what causes this, and more specifically, how to solve it?
View 1 RepliesI have this problem with text set to bitmap text rendering. With fonts like pixel fonts like standard 07_51, Kroeger etc. I can't get them to show the right accents. This shows on stage and in runtime and it occurs with static, dynamic fields and input fields. When I choose anti-aliasing then it's ok, but that isn't the purpose with those pixel fonts, right? I've set the correct font-embedding settings.
I checked it on two computers with Flash CS4 v10 on MacOS X 10.6.2, Belgian Keyboard, FontExplorer Pro for font management.
I'm edit a flash file that uses about 11 different fonts. When I toss it into the editor and publish it some characters are missing from the product, such as W's and M's. I've installed the fonts that were included with the flash file into windows7.
View 4 RepliesI have a flash file that a customer has sent me that needs changing. (It is a flash website header with links to the site pages and a logo above. I have deleted the logo above) One of the problems is the size. I would like to half the size of the document as there is a lot of white space in the top half where I am going to add a static logo to a webpage (with these flash site links below). When I open Flash CS4 and click Modify > Document..., I can change the height dimensions but the white background changes but the whole of the flash movie is now under the document.
How can I change the possition of either the rest of the document or the background of the document to fit under my movie so that the whole document displays as a flash movie at the correct size? Another problem that I am having is changing the links in the template to the page names that I am using on the site. I don't seem to be able to even find the buttons to make the changes. What ever I do to view them I can't 'see' them when scrolling the time line but when I export or preview the movie all the elements are there.
I have a main file that loads externally a bunch of flv videos. I'm using ApdevVideoPlayer as the player ([URL]). There are no playback problems when I publish swf file. But not when I publish a projector to be fullscreen. As soon as the flv video plays, it becomes huge (kind of like full screen). I want it play in its original size. I changed the "fullscreenTakeover" to be false but was still getting the same problem.

but I want the projcetor to show the presentation at 150% of its current size, not fullscreen.
So, Since years the site ( Its a kind of CMS ) Just worked Fine, but about 3 days ago all the flash's object's in the Whole Site are with 300px X 150px. But it just happens in Google Chrome, in all other Browsers it just Work's fine!
How it would be fixed? Take a look at the code of the object:

I have a problem with a dynamic text field. I have 1 text field on frome 10 which displays text from a text file. This text can change when a button is clicked. I have another text file on frame 20, which i want to display what ever text is in the text filed on frame 10.
I have tried:-

but it doesn't work.

Specifically, I'm trying to change the border size of a text box.
I'm trying to alter the text size on a button component.I can get in and alter the button graphics properties (color, etc.), I can change the text in the instance properties 'component parameters', and change the text placement, however I don't see where to alter the font size or the font.
View 4 RepliesWhen I click the type tool and drag a text box out and type a couple words at 235pt size it looks fine. as soon as I click off the text box, the text size jumps down. I have no idea why this is happening and I can't get it to stay. When I click the type tool on the box again the tet appears at the 235pt size. But when I click off of it and play the movie it is at the incorrect size.
View 3 RepliesI'm doing a trial of the CS5 applications and I cannot seem to find out to increase the size of the font on my user interface. I'm finding the default font size to be too small to work effectively and find the commands I need. I've tried Edit->Preferences which is where one typically finds this type of interface option; however, I do not see any way to do this. I've tried adjusting my screen resolution and screen font size and while this affects every other application on my screen, it does not affect Flash Professional.

I cannot display any SVG image in my Internet Explorer. I recently installed the Adobe SVG plugin without success.
View 1 RepliesI want to use the UI Text Scroll component on a text box. When I make the initial text box,it is the normal 1 line in depth, based on the font size. When I paste the type into the box it gets very long, which is fine, but when I try to make the text box smaller using the transform tool so that I can make it fit the movie, it makes the type smaller as well. Is there a way to change the height of the box, without it effecting the text inside?

View 1 RepliesI've embedded an FLV file (created in Premiere Pro CS4) using Dreamweaver CS4 and I cannot get the actual video to show/play in any browser. If you right click where the video is located on the page, or highlight everything on the screen, you can see the defined outline of it, but nothing ever actually loads/shows. I uploaded all of the files that Dreamweaver created with its little FLV embed wizard, so I'm not sure what exactly I'm missing

View 3 RepliesI used cs4 to create the swf. I published with html output. I noticed I was running in quirks mode so to fix that I put a doctype statement befor the html tag. This is the doctype:[code]the swf still diplays at it's full width but only about the top 1/5'th of the output displays.

View 3 RepliesI am trying to embed an f4v file into Flash CS5, however the program won't accept the file I've tried renaming the extension and removing the audio stream. The only thing that seems to work is if its a TRUE flv file using VP6 and with a .flv extension.The documentation here regarding embedding flv/f4v mentions the ability to embed either file formats:I have found no positive results on google and there doesn't seem to be a Flash Jira for bug tracking.

I have built a Flash site and also set it up with alternate content so it can be viewed on iPhone and iPad as well as other mobile devices. It works great everywhere but in FireFox the site's swf loads on the page twice.Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what have you done to work around this FireFox bug?
