Professional :: Add Live Action Video To Timeline In Adobe Flash CS5?
Dec 14, 2011
I want to make an animation over live action footage, I've looked on the guides and the ones which explain what I need to do are for previous versions of Flash and don't work on CS5.I'm wondering how I can import a video in to Adobe Flash CS5, so that it plays in the timeline frame by frame? I dont mean putting it on one frame so it will play, but so i can edit objects over the top of the flash in each single frame.
I have started a stream from Flash media encoder to flash media server. According to my encoder, it should be located at: "rtmp://localhost/live" and is called livestream. In the Flash software I try and set the source of FLVPlayback component to "rtmp://localhost/live/livestream", and I get this error: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : Adobe Flash tried to play a live or recorded stream that does not exist. Source can't be found.". Both the server and encoder is runnind and I am encoding.Too, when I try and open the html with the stream in a browser, nothing appears.
I am having an interlacing issue when I load my .flv files up to my site. The strange thing is that when I watch them after encoding in Flash Video Encoder (with adobe AIR) the interlacing does not appear. I can't understand why the interlacing issue would appear once the videos are loaded up to the site and yet they look perfectly crisp and clear when I watch the completed .flv's in AIR. I didn't de-interlace the videos the first time I created the .flv's but that shouldn't matter since they play fine in AIR right? Of course I can go back through and de-interlace them, but I want to make sure that this is the problem before I take the time to re-encode them all.
I am having a problem with a project for school. In a video I am making, I need to add animation over a live video. For example, in one scene, I have videotaped myself running. Now, I want to add the picture of a ghost chasing me. Both layers are moving. My question is, can I do this easily in flash? I have not used Flash before and if it is complicated, I would rather not to try. I've talked to some friends who have used Flash before and some say it is the perfect program for my need while others claim it would either not be able to do it, or be really hard to.
Is Flash suitable to my needs? If not, is there another program that is?
Any way to be able to export what is currently displayed on the flash swf stage to an vector-usable type file so I can edit in illustrator? I basically have a little actionscript animation that runs, and adds random movieclip shapes on the stage..... so i would like to be able to save what it outputs.
I keep hearing "postscript" a lot.
and i've also been able to save it as a PDF using the "print" function on the Adobe Flash Player, but a wierd thing, it doesn't export opacity information.
I want the video not to loop, but to stop on the final frame of the video. I want to add that action before publishing the SWFas3 file. I need a litle advice. I went to last frame and right-clicked on Actions. I don't know what to put in the dialog box.

We have video cameras from Point Grey Research that are typically used for instrumentation and measuring. To oversimplify, the Flycapture software library they provide essentially captures single frames as 2-dimensional arrays of 16-bit greyscale values. We want to measure and process this information in real time. We also want to take this video, write some simple overlays on it (rectangular outlines, histograms, etc.) and make it available for viewing on a local area network using an ordinary web browser.
That is, we need to programmatically generate a live FLV stream on the fly--where the source of the video is not actually a device, but our program. The resolution and bandwidth requirements are modest; 320x240 30 fps 8 bit-grey = less than three megabytes per second. Some very simple, fast, easy compression would do, and in fact compression is not really needed at all.
I'm puzzled as how to where to start. I've browsed dozens of free and commercial packages, and they all seem to assume that the video source is a device.
The FLV and RTMP specs are intimidating. I can't easily identify any trivial subset (e.g. no compression) that would be easy to implement myself, nor have I found free or inexpensive commercial libraries that would do it for me.
Is it possible to capture/encode a video file on a slow machine, then upload it live to a Red5 or Adobe Streaming server, and have that server stream to file live to flash clients? If so, what protocol is used to stream the data from the encoding machine to the Red5 / Adobe server? I see a lot of things about RTMP, but am I correct that this protocol is used between Streaming Server and Flash client, but not from encoding machine to Streaming Server?
fix bug in your MAX video player. Visit[URL]..online/tuesday/I have error dialog at Adobe MAX online page (flash player).I have FlashPlayer debugger. It show error when all loadings is done (only one time). I just click "Dismiss all" and error dialog is never appearing.
I want to make sure that only authenticated users are publishing streams to my Adobe Flash Media Server.
Ideally I would like to limit the IPs which are allowed to publish streams to the server.
I read about the Adobe Authentication Plugin, but apparently it is broken since it works only for Adobe Flash Media Live Enconder. It doesn't secure the server for other encoders that publish streams.
I keep getting "An internal application error occurred" when I put in my video. (MPG) Running Windows XP The Encoder at work does not work but the Encoder at my house does.

In my machine I have installed only Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional trial version. Now this installation is not supporting adobe.utils.Extension class in this version. I have tried with all latest updates from adobe site. My doubt is does adobe.utils.Extension class is available in licensed version of Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional?
Any way to make a video as a transition for a flash movie? What I mean is, say you have an image of a city, and you have a bunch of clickable areas in that image. When you click on one of those areas, a video plays that would transition you from the original image to the new location, almost like a fly through. [URL]
I have built a couple of sites in Flash, however, I have a problem with a current site I'm working on. My client wants various photos to fade out in a "checkerboard" fashion, which I am doing via its own movie clip and adding in the appropriate area on the main timeline. However, when I add a blank keyframe on the following page to add a new movie clip (with the next set of pictures, the timeline starts playing through the entire website, not recognizing stop actions or frame labels.
I am trying to replicate the deinterlace functionality that is available in FMLE in a simple flash broadcaster that is hosted on my website. I have built a flash broadcaster (using Flash CS4 and AS2) that connects to my FMS server with the aim that people can stream live video to the site. That all works OK; however, I would like to be able to implement a deinterlace option like that which is available in FMLE.
we are looking forward towards developing a very interesting community portal that would help the user to broadcast their live videos across the community.I've been checking over sites like ustream.tv, justin.tv and wondering what/how Technology they been using to do so.
I am doing a lot of research over the last few days checking over the medium to do this effectively and figure out some of the leading companies in the domain like Ooyala.com, brightcove.com providing servers/technology to broadcast videos seamlessly across the globe. I will be signing up with any of these providers soon.So my question is , how exactly would my website be catching with the live feed from the users cam, send the stream to ooyala/brightcove and further broadcast it to rest of the community users.
I want a Flash player which can play a live video in a web browser. My video is increasing per second.
EDITED: I am making video using images by FFmpeg. I want to play that video in a web browser, but when the video is playing the size of that video keeps on increasing.
To view the increased video the user has to reload the page.
I have a streaming video that is displayed on a web page through a flash player from an external source. This video has a huge border that I would like to crop out before displaying. How can I alter the feed in real time before showing it to the user, such that the resulting video has its border removed?
For a new project, I want to take a video feed, filmed in a greenscreen room, and as you see it, do a color keying, to kill the green and show an alternative picture on the background. Is there a way to do this with Flash, AS3?
optional question: If a button is clicked, the now new constructed Picture should be saved as a Jpg.
I've been making the transition from AS2 to AS3 for the last week and am making progress. But I'm having a problem that hopefully someone can help me with. I'm using Flash CS5. I have a fairly simple Flash website I'm working on. I have sections on the timeline like Home, About, Photos, Media ... all set up using labels for each of those sections. Everything is working fine but when I go to my Media section where I have a video placed (using the flv component) I'm having a problem as follows:
The video auto plays fine when I go to the Media section but when I attempt to leave the section and go to another the sound of the video doesn't stop. It continues to play when I go to another section and if I go back to the section it starts again. The video is not there when I go to another section which is the part that's confusing me. In AS2 when I did this the video and the sound both stopped because you went to another section on the timeline. Why is the sound of the video not stopping in AS3?
I'm trying to use the NetConnection class to connect to a live video feed on an external server. I have it set up to start playing my video when the user clicks a Play button, however, this appears in my output every time I click the Play button:
ArgumentError: Error #2126: NetConnection object must be connected. at flash.net::NetStream/ctor() at flash.net::NetStream() at Over/connectLiveStream()[Over::frame2:31]
Here is the (I think relevant) code: if (playVid.label == "Play") { nc = new NetConnection(); nc.objectEncoding = flash.net.ObjectEncoding.AMF0; nc.connect("rtmp://my.rtmp.server:1935/live/"); nsPlay = new NetStream(nc); nsPlay.play("livestream.flv"); }
How are live flash video streams broadcasted? I am guessing that as the broadcast is recording, the people that are watching are watching what has been recorded to an flv file a few seconds ago, making it 98-99% live, since it is a few seconds off of the actual recording time.
im looking for a Flash Video player that can play Live Stream Video .... i follow the video basic 6 but wasnt sure which part of the link i have to put on ns.play("link here"); this the link i got from the stream
s1.addParam('flashvars','&file=livestream&bufferlength=3&type=rtmp&streamer=rtmp://w.fl.misolutions.net/wn-live01/'); i dont which part i should used to replace "link here"
My question is how do I incorporate playback controls to a Embedded Video that plays with the timeline? I saw how easy it was to add playback components when you import video externally. I figured that I probably need to start by creating my play back components, but then I need code to tell the swf what to do?
Why does my swf's skin referenced by a simple component FLA work locally but NOT live? There's no AS3 in the component FLA. It's just a one-layer component referenced to the the FLV. When I test locally, IN FLASH CS4 ONLY, and click on "Animalia - Verse From the Zoo" the FLV and skin load and the video (source FLV - "Sequence01.flv") plays. But the same thing live only loads the swf for the FLV file area but NO SKIN. Try it yourself, please:Has anyone had this problem and knows the solution? All files are in the SAME FOLDER on the web server. I've tried every URL and path combination I can think of on the website. I've tried referencing the whole URL.
Yet whatever path combination I try, either nothing happens, or I just get the FLV box but no skin. Which is what's happening now. Publish settings are set to Flash Player 10 for all files. And I've tried the component SWF WITH and WITHOUT the fl.video package (import fl.video.*. No difference. Why does the skin load and play locally but not live? It's all AS3. No AS2. And it does not seem to be a "publish settings" issue as far as I can see. The relevant code in my API is:
var AnimalFLVLoader:Loader = new Loader(); AnimalFLVLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN,fAnimaliaVOn); Animalia2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, fAnimaliaVOn);
