For example if the user stop the music i want the music player to be able to stop the music and not reload the song if the user go to the next page. I know it can be achieved via embed tag in the index page of the selected template, but one additional requirement (from the client) is whenever any visitor clicks on any other link, the music should continue but not start from the beginning.

Apr 17, 2010I am currently trying to write a website for myself from a flash template and need seperate buttons to Play and Stop seperate tracks of mp3s. I have managed to get it to play one track however when I try to add a new track, the new button just plays the same track as the first one.

Jul 24, 2008i am having some problems linking my mp3 player swf file to my website. It looks like it loads fine, and the buttons work and change the track of the song, but there is no sound heard or played. Here is the code i used to do this:

As i said before, the player loads up and shows up on the website with no errorsand the buttons work (going to next or previous song as well as the pause and play buttons pausing and playing the music properly), but no sound can be heard. (this is being test on the latest version of firefox).

This returns the number of samples per second. I was wondering what the best way to achieve this with the microphone in flash is. I am not sure if I need to add a SamplesDatatEvent and use extract() or ?? I need to know the number of samples per second from the audio coming into the mic.

Also, when I load in the mp3 it does not play all the way through. It plays about half of it's length.

So far I have not found such a function. In the meantime I am trying to overload alsa functions e.g: snd_pcm_readi to see if I can get the samples before flash treats them, but no success so far.
As a matter of fact, since I have no idea how both sound and microphone class work internally, I don't know exactly which alsa functions they call.
