I am working on an iMAC running 10.6, and Flash CS5. I created a flash file with a list button ( with 10 inner sellections) on the main page. Each sellection within the list button loads a separate movie file from the library. Everything works great unitl Iinsert the Home button. If I install the home buton the main page, the list button does not work. If I install the home button in a movie, I don't know how to write the action script to go back to the main page, and I woul have to install a home button into each movie.

I have an FLV file, provided by the videographer. I put in a folder for the web. By looking at my other FLV files, they have support files included (a SWF for the skin, and a SWF for the player, along with an HTML page where it is embedded on).So, as this FLV file did not have these support files, I have copied and pasted the others to go with my new FLV. What else do I need to do to make it play on the HTML page on the web?I checked the code on the HTML page, and it merely calls up one of the SWFs so should be OK with that.Do I need the videographer to give me a FLA where the movie was imported to, or is this not necessary? I'm wondering if I need the FLA so that I can re-define the content path? Is this the only thing I need to get all components to work together and play in the browser?

I put TextInput component in the Library, as suggested in many forums. But when I do this, and I try to test the program, it simply doesn't work... some images disappear and buttons don't work. If I start a new project and put TextInput I don't have any problem, that makes the problem very weird. Do you have some idea what's going wrong?

The buttons are displayed with there animation and sound, but the links will not work. I have tried scripts in AS2 and AS3.

Gb HDD (dual core). I've already installed with succeed Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 and InDesign CS5 with success on my computer with DVD versions on this Windows 7 boot. I precise I already succeed to install Flash CS5 on the same computer but with Windows Vista installed (dual boot), so the installer seems to be OK. But when I'm on my Windows 7 boot, when I try to install Flash CS5 Pro downloadable version, I get some errors as soon as the installer try to copy some files on my HD and the installer stops immediatly with those error messages:

I've notice all the trouble people are having trying to get updates of FP to cooperate with Vista and IE, but is anyone out
there having trouble getting the installer to work on a mac? After running the uninstaller, which says it was successful, I cannot get ANY version of FP to re-install on my mac. Both Firefox and Safari are showing the plug-in as missing and when prompted to download and install, the installation fails again and again.
The only way I have been able to successfully get flash player working again is to re-install my version of Creative Suite,
which automatically installs FP when you install the Flash application.

View 1 RepliesI've just purchased Adobe's Design Premium CS5 and installed it from the disk onto a brand new Dell XPS laptop running windows 7 home, 64 bit. Every program runs great except for Flash professional which will not open. The loading screen appears, and then I get a message that says:
"Adobe Flash cs5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I reinstalled, no luck.

I have another application developed in Flex Builder 3 and a release build with the same installer has no problem.
i have FMS Installed And after its installed i also Install The Addon Auth to make a username and password so no one else can just start a Stream but after i install it and restart the server it wont work any the fms does work but the addon doesn't.

View 2 RepliesI would like to know what's the exact command line used to install flash from swflash.cab. Seems that would be something like 'rundll32 advpack.dll...', and I know that FP_AX_CAB_INSTALLER.EXE uses the switch RegServer from the .inf.
A completely silent command line would be nice to!

When I try to add Eclipse plugins by going to menu, Install New Software, the dialog for "Available Software" is broken. It looks very different from the same dialog in Eclipse, and it has no way to add update sites, etc.
