Professional :: Why Not All The Images Appear In The Swf

I have a fla file template and the example sequence swf but the template only show a few of the images in the finshed preview even though all the images are present 12 bitmaps and 12 symbols.
Ok so I have many images all the same size in different keyframes in the same layer... I want to align them all to the stage at once... rather then each individually... how do i do this
I do have a problem to make jpeg images random in a swf movie.I have found a tutorial which explains people to apple a single lineofcode:imagenes_mc.loadMovie("ima00" + (1+random(5)) + ".jpg");to the first frame of the movie which contains an empty mc "imagenes_mc" which should load a diferent JPEG each time someone gets into the website.Thing is: ON my published swf nothing happens with that code and on the output windown i get "1120: Acess of undefined property mages_mc" and also "1180: Call to a possible undefined method random"
This may sound simple but it's not at all from what I can tell. Hell it may be impossible but I might as well ask...Anyways, what I'm trying to ask for is a way to update the images embedded in an FLA somehow without having to manually re-import each individual file every time they get changed on the hard drive. We have a massive project with a large amount of FLA files, and having to manually re-import all of the images every time new things are committed to the repository is going to get rediculous very fast.
When I export images from any fla,they are very slightly cropped on the right side and bottom. I don't want them to be cropped. Here's how I'm exporting: I paste the image in a blank fla, select Export, Export image, and choose the filename and location.
I have scaled down some JPG's in flash and they look fine but when I publish to a SWF they look pixelated. I've read other threads and done what is suggested i.e. Smoothing on or off, JPG's instead of PNG's and quality at 100% with no success. I know that Flash isn't a resolution based application and bitmaps are but the images look fine in the Flash IDE.
I imported a clean looking high-res jpeg into Flash CS4.Then using properties, I reduced it with the position and size function.I reduced it by half.When I do this, the image is not clean and sharp any more but pixelly.In the image the arrow points to the reduced image on the stage and when previewed.Also, you'll see the size numbers display too.If I need to reduce images and logos like this, is there a better way to do this so the image looks sharp when reduced?I am only interested in knowing how to do this using the "tools" not actionscript.
I have Macromedia Flash MX 2004. I need to change the images in an fla file for inclusion in a new Web site. I have inherited an fla file and am just learning the in-and-outs of using Flash. I have been trying to figure out/learn what to do. But I am now under a deadline.
I have a client who wants a home page similar to the way this one operates: http:[url]... It contains 10 images that are on a steady horizontal scroll that repeats. The images seem to be at about 50% opacity and they increase to 100% upon rollover. The images don't need to link to different pages. The way this one works would be fine, just all leading to another gallery page that gives more info.how I can achieve this type of look thru Flash? I have done some browsing online but most tutorials I've found are more like viewers where the user has arrows to scroll forward and back. This one is different, just sort of operates on its own....like walking by and window shopping for my client's products.
Something that has always bothered me, wrapping text around images. Now in the past I always just used line breaks to wrap the text around images in a static and dynamic text field.
I haven't really had much experience with using HTML formatted text in dynamic text fields but I am told in can wrap text around image, is this true? And if so I am imagining the image would have to be external to the flash file and inserted using an <img srce> tag.
Was looking around for perhaps a simpler way of doing it and came across "Text Layout Framework" from Adobe. After reading into it, seems that it will wrap the text around in dynamic text fields through use of extensions and components (plus a whole stash of other features.) Would this assumption be correct?
And is there any support for text to wrap around images in static text fields
I'm working on a flash piece with buttons that display images when you rollover them. When I publish the fla the thin lines are blurry and look out of alignment even though they are perfectly aligned when I zoom in on the fla.
I want to create a slideshow of 5 images, with black fade effect in between. So from black to image to black to the next image and so on. Then it stops on the last image. I dont want any buttons or any interactions.
I am building a Dutch website where people can search for availble houses tot rent. The website is completly free for every one. But to make some money I have added the possiblity for house owners to put there website in the spotlight in Dutch "uitgelicht" (see : http:[url].....). Now I have the following problem. Not every browser shows it in the correct way and I wanted to change the banner in to a flash banner. So I started out in flash to create a "image belt" like this. But now I want to insert some images from a database and I am stuck.
The Question : Where and how do I tell Flash to insert images from a db. I know PHP but I don't know where to start looking.
How can i embed images and videos in swf through actionscript in flash? I am reading an xml through actionscript (3.0) and loading the content But is it possible to embed them and when a compile it , i get swf with content embedded in it (this possibly eliminates the need of giving the content separately with swf )?
how can i give tweening between 2 images (Just like a Shape tweeening )
ie: in 1st frame 1 draw a rectangle shape and 25th frame i draw a circle shape that the time i give a shape tweening means it comes correctly (the shape converts to another shape)
but the same concept i gave it for image means it is not comming properly ,
There's a lot more going on in this script than simply loading images. First I am dynamically creating the movieclips into which the images are being loaded. I am also dynamically creating masks which are used to make a refelction movie clip (basically an identicle clip that is inverted and place below the clip that is right-side up), and all the clips and masks are added to and positioned within a movie clip on the starge. The problem is that even when verifying that each mask is in the right place and that the inverted clip has the mask as its mask (which are the last operations carried out by the script called by the image loader's Event.COMPLETE handler) I still have missing reflections. Usually the missing reflctions are the first reflections e.g. 1 and 2.
I'm using the following code to bring in external images, however, I would like the images to come in and be behind everything else instead of placing themselves on top of everything.

I have an image gallery of 6 images on a frame of my timeline. what I want to happen is instead of all images trying to load up at the same time when at that point in the timeline I want the 1st image to process and load then move on to the 2nd image here is how I am loading those images.
location1.loadMovie ("image1.jpg"); location2.loadMovie ("image2.jpg"); location3.loadMovie (image3.jpg"); and so on.
can I edit this code somehow so that the 2nd through 6th images do not load until image 1st is fully loaded and so on.
i need to do another one, exactly the same, but it will have a rolling picture (4) when 1 button is rolled over.
I can set it up to fade in when the mouse rolls over, but i am just wandering how to set it that i can make 4 images fade in after eachother after a space of about 3 seconds. If you need code i am more then happy to give what i have at the moment. i am assuming i will need a timer in there but i am not very good at AS3.0 so i do not know how to write it
I want to create a flash app where the site owner can simply put images in a folder, and the flash app finds all the images in the folder, and will display a slide show from them.
Is there any way to list all files in a folder, so I can load them without prior knowledge of their names? I'd prefer not to have to tell a dumb customer what an XML file is and how to edit it, and also the images need to keep their original names so I can get titles for the images from the names.
My problem is, I have setuped a simple iPhone app in Flash.I compile it, but some of elements are missing.Like i have *.png images for title and background, and problem is background is not appearing.Layers are set correctly, in editor they are positioned right.
I had CS5 v11.0.0.xxx. I had the problem. I have just upgraded to CS5 v11.0.2.489. I have the same problem. I imported a series of images in CS5 v11.0.0.xxx to the stage. I saved the file and reopened it.The images were gone in the stage. They were corrupted in library as well.
I imported the same images in Flash 8. I saved the file and reopend it in Flash 8 without a problem. I reopened the file in CS5 v11.0.0 and CSv11.0.2 without a problem. I saved the file to CS4 format and reopened the new CS4 file in CS5 without a problem. I saved the file to CS5 format (both compressed and uncompressed) and reopened the new CS5 files. The problem is still there.

I have get our client 200 tga picture (renders), i want to insert this picture one by one key frame how can i do automatically.I am try to select & stage but picture is place one over another.
I have an project that when you enter a certain number and click a ''enter'' button, it send you to an image (forest picture, desert picture, town picture, etc). In these pictures, I've hidded some object. In exemple, in the forest picture, there's some blue birds, red birds, green birds, etc. I want people to find them and click on them to get some information about these birds. The thing is that these birds are hidden. When I open my picture with windows viewer, i can zoom-in and find them with the little hand toolso everything is fine cause I can find them. The problem is that when I export my project as an animation, we can't find the birds because we cant's zoom in. My question is, is there a way to zoom-in these images and navigate trought them (with the little hand tool) like we can do with windows viewer? Or is there a way to just Zoom-in my animation?
