I'm trying to get a webstageview to load a local html file. this code works perfectly on the emulator, but when i run it on my android device (running android 2.3), it does not work. it just creates a blank webstageview that never loads the local html file...the zoom function is intact so i know it's opening the webstageview, but i never see the content.[code]...

View 1 RepliesI am trying to load local HTML (that exists in the project's folder structure) in an instance of webStageView. While this works fine in windows and ipad/iphone - it fails to locate the files in Android (only tried it in 2.2)
File.applicationDirectory.url returns "app:"
File.applicationStorageDirectory.url returns "app-storage:"
File.applicationDirectory.nativePath returns an empty string, as specified in Adobe's documentation.The problem is that the webview gives a "Web page not available, app:/test/index.html not found" error. Is there a way to get the full path, or to "force" the browser to understand that app: refers to a specific folder?

I am using the Flash Player 10.1 emulator to try to emulate an iPad since the iPad emulator doesn't work. I have a touch event using TOUCH_BEGIN and whenever I click on the object, it gets hit twice instead of just once. Is this just an emulator bug, or is there something wrong with my code that's causing it to hit twice?

View 3 RepliesI have a project that uses video for a chat application, I can get it to work in the flex emulator but when I deploy it to the device the button that initiates the video doesn't change and video never starts. My devices all have 2 cameras except my computer but specifiying Camera.getCamera([1]) didn't change anything except mess up my emulator and cause a NullPointerException. Camera.getCamera([0]) works just the same as not having the ID. I have tried messing with different values quality and nothing makes a difference

Flash 10.1 doesn't come out for a little bit so I've been putting off doing any research on it. But I glanced through the fliers tonight and I'm seeing some REALLY good deals. So the big question is, which phone would be the best for a touch screen programmer. I'm not looking to dazzle my friends, but I am looking to have a piece of equipment that will suite my needs as a developer. I understand that the iPhone doesn't use Flash, so that one is definitely off of the list.
