Sep 19, 2010in my timeline i have two orbs transforming into arrows. it works, i watch it, then i'm like, ok, all good time to save. i save. exit/open, and come to find that my orbs were not transforming. i looked on the timeline and they are not set to transform, so i redid the shape tween, save,exit open and the same thing. so why won't my file save the shape tweens? i'm previewing it in cs5.
--edit--for some reason it works in the swf file, but not the fla file.

So, I opened the text file and started to make changes to certain text and when I view the changes I noticed that certain letters and characters are not being displayed such as the letter w and the question mark ? and other letetrs.here is an example of the text I included in the text file:

Professional :: Unable To Edit Flash File - Can't Enter Inside Buttons/movie Clips?
Apr 9, 2012I am in the middle of creating a website using Flash CS5. I opened up my .Fla file one day to continue my work but I am no unable to access buttons and movie clips. When creating movie clips or buttons I am unable to get inside them, when I hover my mouse over them there is a white hand icon which never used to be there it was always just a normal mouse icon. I double click to enter inside the buttons/movie clips but nothing happens. This happens to existing movie clips and buttons on the page and even when I create new ones. I really don't wanna have to start this website again.

I have a touch event using TOUCH_BEGIN and whenever I click on the object, it gets hit twice instead of just once. Dec 31, 2011I have a project that uses video for a chat application, I can get it to work in the flex emulator but when I deploy it to the device the button that initiates the video doesn't change and video never starts. My devices all have 2 cameras except my computer but specifiying Camera.getCamera([1]) didn't change anything except mess up my emulator and cause a NullPointerException. Camera.getCamera([0]) works just the same as not having the ID. I have tried messing with different values quality and nothing makes a difference

Scenario: The company I work for recently attained a client that has a website with flash programming on it. The client recently asked to have improvements made to their site. Part of the improvement deals with modifying the flash program. The client was able to hand over to the company I work for the source for their site which includes the adobe files for the flash program.
When I attempt to access the main fla program of the client's website, i receive the following message:"an error occurred opening the file."
what options are available for me to attempt to read the fla file?

Sep 4, 2011I've gone through the whole rigamarole of creating a provisioning profile and P12 developer key, I've exported the app as an .ipa file, and I've added the .ipa file to my iTunes Library. It shows up there under "Apps."However, the app does not appear on the iPhone: not even if I Sync the thing through iTunes. Double-clicking the app in iTunes does nothing. Right-clicking yields only the options "Get Info," "Show in Windows Explorer" and "Delete." If I attempt to drag it onto the iPhone, the mouse cursor changes to a cancel symbol.I am using the latest version of iTunes, and my iPhone is running the latest version of iOS (4.2.1). I don't know what's going on, but it's driving me nuts.

Oct 7, 2009 I made a flash-file that will load a file externaly (http://.../locus.f4v). When I publish that flash file it renders a locus.swf, locus.index and a SkinOverAllNoFullNoCaption.swf (skin).When I upload everything works fine. But to easily manage all of my video's I can't have them lying arround and would like them in a folder. So I create a folder locusvideos. I change all the links in the html-file to locusvideos/... .swf but it just shows an empty page.so where are all the files at? locus.html (is in the most top folder)

and the video-file is still on the same place.
