Actionscript 3 :: Drag A Point In Flash, And Have Lines, Connected Other Points Move?

I have a set of dots displayed on the canvas (key bits of code pulled out):

how to redraw the lines as I move a dot. Also there could be many lines connected to any single dot. Do I need to somehow register which lines are connected to which dot? How do I redrew the lines based on this?

I am trying to create a mindmap where the user can drag points about the screen. I have gotten as far as drawing the line via actionscript, and drag+drop the points (defined as movie clips on stage). This is the existing script - I don't know how to get the lines to follow the points. Something to do with ENTER_FRAME or updateAfterEvent?

How can i make a MovieClip object drag able by the mouse? If i have two MovieClip instances, is it possible to make a new shape/MovieClip objects in that looks like a line and which will connect then? I have functions checking if the 'nodes' movie clip instances collide with the 'line' movie clip instances, now these all are different functions and conditional, but is it possible to check if ALL of them are true?

I have a flvplayback component onto which I am loading a video. To mimic next frame and previous frame actions I am adding cue points to the loaded for every second of its length. The next frame /previous frame functions implement seekToNextNavCuePoint and seekToPrevNavCuePoint on the video. But its not working the way I expected it to.
Here is the actual class file. You can directly compile it with an fla file containing button instances in the library for play pause stop... Also you would need some sample flv file.

It's been a long time since I've done any work with actionscript, and alas I've forgotten nearly everything. I've tried to look for a tutorial that would explain basic animation with actionscript, but the one that I found on Kirupa was no longer there.
Basically I'd like to do this:On the stage I have a movieclip and I'd like the movieclip to move along the x-axis to a certain point and then back to the starting point again. The moving speed of the movieclip should also be adjustable.

I have seen examples using onEnterFrame and createEmptyMovieClip and one with setInterval, but they are in previous Actionscripts. I don't know how to translate them into AS3.

I have a Flash animation that is entirely created with AS 2.0. It creates a line graph based on some data. It works perfectly as is, but I'd like to add a little flair. As it plots the points and connects the lines, I'd like to have a tiny pause between each. I'd like the user to see the line being drawn across the screen rather than it all appearing instantaneously.Is there any code that can make a script "pause" for a set amount of time?

Basically what I like to ask is how to move a object from one point to another point based on the point tat you have clicked on a graph. For example, If I click on this coordinate (2,3) on graph, the object (movie clip) will move to that point.

How do I move the origin point, or zero point, of a MovieClip to the same origin point of the stage without scripting in Adobe Flash CS3?
Example: While I'm trying to move objects within a MovieClip, the origin point is at (stage) 200,-300. This means that when I put objects in a MovieClip, the objects' X,Y coordinates, as displayed in properties, are off by that much.
This point is way off the edge of the stage and I'd like to move it back to the stage's origin point so that my X,Y coordinates are meaningful.

if i move the cursor to a point A, it automatically moves by itself to a point B. then if i move the cursor from B to a point C, it bounces away to a point D. i stumbled upon this site while googling around. i'm not a techie, but yeah, i can handle word processors.

I have a MovieClip that has four circles on the stage. Each circle draws a line to the other three circles. I'm trying to figure out how to find the intersect point between all of the lines. If there is no intersect point, then the circle in the middle should become the intersect point. I've uploaded the SWF here: [URL].

I'm trying to test of a point is inside of a Quadrilateral, as defined by four points.I found some script on another site in another language and tried converting it, but I doesn't seem to work. It might be that I don't understand what their "sign()" method does. I thought it was Math.sin().

I am going to have what is essentially a grid of 12 boxes. 4 across 3 high. There will be an object in each box. What I want to do is to allow the user to drag an object from one box into another. This will cause the other objects in the boxes to move up one position to fill in the gap that is left by the object being dragged. I have no idea what this is called or so I don't know how to Google it.

When you make this draggable and droppable, the object automatically jumps to the cursor of the mouse, but at the location set at (0, 0)? Well, is there a way to counteract this, so if the mouse is over it and you click it you can still move it but the object will stay where it is relative to the mouse cursor? I'm using ActionScript 3.0 with Flash CS5

- How to make the stick move with the center in the point near the ball;
