Android Development With Flex 4.5 But Free?

I've a pc (windows 7) and I'd like to use flex 4.5 sdk for developing android and ios app (future), but I like to do it with free tools.
I'm a bit confused about best enviroment and for difference between paid version of flex and no paid version, There's also good library like as3isolib is compatible with open sdk of flex?
Can also give me some tools like good ide, and which and where can download the right sdk from adobe site?
And the difference of speed for a app made in flex or in java in a 1ghz hi res (800x480) phone like nexus one?

I'm using Eclipse and I'm wondering what the best Eclipse/Java/Flexbuilder code review tool is. If it matters we're using SVN as our SCM. Here are the following I've come across: Jupiter - seems like it's been around for awhile it looks like there is only a single developer on the project and the documentation mentions rather old versions of Eclipse IBM's Collaborative Code Review plugin for eclipse - seems like its a proprietary code review tool so not sure it will be supported in the future (or have the ability for a community to assist in development). Eclipse COLA real-time shared editing - Not really a code review tool but more a way to view/edit files peer-to-peer style allowing code review like collaboration. The only thing I get is a swf file.I don't really know why Flash CS 5.5 refuses to generate my project's apk file since I've never encountered a problem like this before. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? My player is set to AIR for Android,I have my certificate,I don't get any errors, and debugging on my device via USB works flawlessly.

I've recompiled my app with Flex 4.6 / AIR 3.1 and now when I upload to the Android market it says my app is using a "android.permission.BROADCAST_STICKY" permission. In it's simplest terms what is it and can or should I turn it off (it's not in the app descriptor file)?
BTW I used captive runtime for the first time in this upload. Would that have anything to do with it?

Using AIR for Android, is it possible to call from Flex into an NDK library? If so, how can this be done? I have a large C library that I need to use. I know that I can do this from an Android Java app (through JNI), but I have a large Flex codebase that I'd like to reuse.

I have a problem - How to run AIR (really big desktop application) on my Galaxy Tab 10.1? It's possible convert .air to .apk?
EDIT:
1. I set up a new desktop project (File -> New -> Flex Project)
2. Project name is "simpleTest", Application type is Desktop (runs in Adobe AIR), Flex SDK version 4.6.0 and click to Finish
3. I go to Design mode, then set the width to 500 and height to 250. I add one button by drawing and name it btnOne and make Generate Event Handler
4.Then I go to Project -> Export Release Build (Export as Signed AIR package) -> Next (I apply the certificate) -> Finish
5. I find the project file (...Adobe Flash Builder 4.6simpleTest) and copy simpleTest.air into a new file (simpleTestAPK - which contains my certificate > andCert.p12)
6. I rename "simpleTest.air" to "simpleTest.zip" and from this .zip I unpack just "simpleTest.swf" and "application.xml"
7. I create a "create.txt" containing as follows:
adt -package -target apk-debug -storetype pkcs12 -keystore andCert.p12
myHope.apk application.xml simpleTest.swf
8. I rename "create.txt" to "create.cmd" and launch it (Shift + RMB -> Open cmd here)
9. "myHope.apk" is created
10. I copy this to Galaxy Tab 10.1 (with drag&drop)
11. I launch "myHope.apk" but all I see is blank, white screen, no colors, no buttons, nothing.

I'm creating an app to deploy for iOS and Android and I'd like to give them slightly different filenames (need to add a space so that name displays on two lines on Android). Is there a way for me to define this in the app.xml without having to change it each time I export?

I'm using the the Adobe ActionScript 3 SDK for Facebook Platform to get all the tagged photos of the current user. Is this possible?
I've tried this:
FacebookDesktop.api("/"+uid+"/photos",getTagedPhotosHandler);
But that only gets me the photos belonging to that user.

Does anybody use bare .SWF files as webpages? I know it's possible; it seems to work fine for me. Why would I embed a SWF inside an HTML page if it's just going to be full screen (I mean the size of the browser's normal viewable page area, not COMPLETELY fullscreen)?
Is there a lack of browser support? Or is this functionality determined by the browser's Flash plugin?

I want to have a web site which switches the web camera of users, makes a video recording and send results to my web server.Is it possible to do that? I think it should be. For example such sites as chatroulette.com starts web camera. Should it be done with the Adobe Flash technologies? Is it hard to do that?

If I load a web page full of other files, e.g. images, my browser doesn't load them all at once.I seem to remember reading that IE will only have at most 3 requests open at a time for a page. The rest will be queued.If I have a flash movie on the page which is continually making image requests, how does this affect the maximum number of downloading files in the browser?
Is this browser limit accurate, and is it generally the same across browsers? Does flash share the requests of the browser? If not, does flash have a limit and what is that limit?
For some background, I do have a flash movie that is continually loading files so there is a queue of Loaders waiting to make requests.My idea was that if there was a different request that I needed to be executed straight away I could make it jump the queue by making a javascript call and allowing the browser to make the request instead.

I've been given a Flash tutorial to post to the corporate website that is an .exe file with an embedded Flash player. Users will be on IE, so I guess they would get the run/save prompt. I don't like this and I know it generally isn't done, but I need to know if it is OK to just do it. When I try to explain the security issues with executable files, eyes glaze. Is it possible that the users' system admins would be able to block the run prompt and make the user save the file? Could they block that too? The user community is hopeless, so having the embedded Flash player could be a good thing.

There is an ongoing argument on the web right now about the "openness" of the iPhone OS and Adobe Flash platforms. Adobe's argument is that anyone can build a Flash application without having to worry about being allowed to distribute it.
This made me wonder... is it possible to build and distribute an AIR application without giving any money to Adobe (without violating any licenses, of course)? Are any of these tools free? Are any open-source?

I have a mobile application that I want to try and reorganize so that it's easier to read and update and follows better practice.I want to implement an MVC pattern, but I'm getting a little tripped up on getting there. I'm just hoping for some help with rebuilding the architecture. Here's the outline of my application:
Level1) MainView has a column of 5 buttons that when clicked lead to View1, View2, View3, View4 or View5.
Level2) Each of these views is the same: a list, but each is populated with different data. Selecting an item brings the user to another set of views SubView1 - 20. that each are again populated with a list.
Level3) However, any selection made on a List in a SubView leads to a view that is always the same for all selection paths - but is populated with different data. Basically a button, another list, a text input and a textarea.
From what I gather, I should be able to use a lot less files and achieve something of the same result:The model being a single class for data? The controller being a class or that controls the business logic, and a view that calls the controller?
