I made a websites which needs the user to login to Facebook. It uses the facebook API to check if the user is logged or not; and the API opens a popup if he is not logged.

Facebook.login(FBfinishedLogin, {perms:"publish_stream,user_location"}); The problem is that with some of the browsers (eg. Safari); the popup is blocked. It is the API and not my code which launches the popup so I have no control on it.
I'm fairly new to Actionscript 3, I'm creating a simple bar graph. There are 5 movie clips relating to years {mcYear0, mcYear1, mcYear2, mcYear3, and mcYear4} then there are 6 bars in each year representing animal population (all the animal movieclips nested in the years are named the same from year to year, so mcFrogs in mcYear1 is also mcFrogs in mcYear2). When you roll over an animal, I want a box to pop up and populate that animal's population over the years. I'm not worried about populating the box but for some reason my code to make the box pop up on the animals is only working on the last year (mcYear4).

If you create a popup via:[code]It will create a popup and bring it on top of any other visual piece. I have one problem though. This 'popup' needs to stay up even when the user interacts with the background.I would use modal, but I need the ability to interact with the back. Any way to tell the popup manager not to remove the popup when the user clicks off of it?

Upon contacting the ISP (SWGFL) - I was told that the network would automatically block flash games. This is all well and good BUT the school in question is able to load the following flash game[url].
I am currently using a PHP layer to communicate between Flash and a MySQL database. I was wondering if anyone knew any reasons as to why this might occur? Is there some kind of header() protocol I need to add to bypass this flash blocking?
I have a website located at: tonywilford.com made entirely of flash. However when I click on any outside link like on my contact page , it detects it as a pop up and doesn't open it.I know I can disable the pop up blocker but how can I make it not do this for the everyday ordinary non technical visitor?What I was trying to do (which may caused this) is when a link was clicked it would open in another tab instead of opening in the same window. It quickly seems all my work till now might have been for nought: when I click on a link in my published flash so far, it displays this message:

As you can probably understand, I cannot expect visitors to my site to manually configure their player for every single of the tens of links I have in my movie. Is there any way I can convince Flash Player that my links are not potentially unsafe?? I am using Flash CS3 and AS2.
I have recently had a new computer, and I run my own website containing various Flash animations. I have had to reinstall all my software packages onto my new machine incl. Dreamweaver and my FTP program. I've just uploaded my website, but none of the Flash content is able to be viewed online. It works perfectly when viewed via Dreamweaver, but is just not visible on the Net, as if something is blocking it. All other Flash websites, apart from mine are working fine.

I'm doing a FB app with the Graph API in Flash. I've got everything working which consists in uploading some images created by the user in the app. The only part that I'm missing is how to tag these photos as with the Graph API it is not possible.
So I was wondering if it's possible to call a method of the REST API even though I'm using the Graph API.
I have two basic bar charts and I am currently using XML/SWF Charts which is great but the problem I have is I need to be able to send these graphs via email to the user. As well as display them on the site.
I know sending Flash is a bad idea, I would love to find a way to convert my current graphs to an image, but am pretty certain there is no quick fix without building a work around myself.
Therefore what are the best open source or closed solutions for this problem.I need to be able to display two graphs dynamically and then email them to users.

I'm trying to draw a static graph based on an Array of Numbers. This graph should be nice smooth sinus-like.The bottom values should be always zero, the upper values are specified in an Array of Numbers.
I've been trying to achieve this effect with curveTo(), but without any luck.
EDIT: Values are like: 10, 15, 40, 28, 5, 2, 27 etc.
i'm using the centered pop up window script from: [URL]. i have multiple buttons in my flash movie which open screenshot html pages in external browser windows. the script works fine except when a popup window stays open. the rest of the buttons don't open/replace past that one popup. i tried changing the window name in the onRelease script to screen1, screen2, etc for each button, but that didn't work.
