I tried the following:
$this->view->pagedata['body'] = "onload='purchase_ajax_init();'";
But just keep getting:

When embedding fonts programmatically, (example here), is it possible to specify certain characters as you might if embedding within the Flash IDE?Here is my code so far, which simply embeds the font. It works, but I am assuming that it is embedding an entire character set.
Code:
package
{
import flash.display.MovieClip;
import flash.text.AntiAliasType;

View 2 RepliesI created a basic flash movie for a client's site. The only action script code that I used in my file is a stop command to stop the movie from looping. My question is why don't my flash animation works when I use LIVE VIEW IN Dreamweaver. or when I preview my site in a browser .the only thing that will display is a huge white box. The flash animation will load up from (Flash Professional) when I do a publish preview but when I insert my flash into Dreamweaver and use live view my flash don't show ...just a white box.

View 1 RepliesI'm trying to connect to a Zend-PHP service within a pure ActionScript program. I've managed to use the service successfully using Flex. (But Flex mobile apps are bloated, and typically 10x bigger than pure ActionScript apps - which is why I'm trying to write it in Pure Actionscript). I'm trying to access the PHP/Zend service that I downloaded, and used in the following tutorial:- [URL] The PHP code that I'm connecting to is available as a download from this site - as well as instructions about how to use it in Flex. And this is what I've written in ActionScript:-

View 2 RepliesI've (actually my classmate) got a problem with loading local ZEND_AMF services on Windows 7 (XAMPP). I can't find any answer on Google or on Stackoverflow. I found one similar topic without any answers: ActionScript 3 AMF Zend fails silentlyLet me describe the problem: I've developed the UI and dataloading for a Memory(matching) Game in FLASH CS5. The games uses data from an ZEND Framework website (you can add levels/cards/images there).[code]Everything works fine on my Macbook Pro (Using MAMP as local server), but a classmate (who's helping with it) of me that is using a Windows 7 laptop with XAMPP doesn't see anything. We're both using Flash CS5.5.For some reason his Flash isn't able to load local services. When he uses the same URL path like me Flash doesn't do anything in the responder. No Error function call and No Complete function call. We've been searching for the cause and tried several things.In a ZEND_AMF tutorial on the Internet we've found an online AMF Service and put that in the code. Of course we're using a nonexisting service function so the responser will call the Error function. And yes, this works. He runs the function returnError(). The cause of this problem is obvious: Flash on my classmates PC (using XAMPP) won't load local services. Allowing swf to correspond with non-local URLs (is an option where you have to add your swf to the Flash settings) => Has happened

View 1 RepliesI am making a dynamic banner system which can handle img banners, as well as flash banners done with object/embed. The entire site makes heavy use of jQuery, including handling the 'click' events.
This obviously isn't a problem when it comes to tracking the clicks on the image itself (i track the click on the parent DIV tag. However, it fails when the advert is an SWF, as I suspected it would.Is there a jQuery workaround that would allow me to capture a click on a Flash element with the DOM?

View 1 RepliesI have a folder full of SWF files. Each SWF is its own animation. I have several people submitting their animations for this project. I would like to embed all these SWF's into my project and use .play() .stop() and other movieclip related commands on them as a whole. By this I mean, the artist sends me the SWF, my AS3 script embeds it, then I can access it with say animation_1.stop(); without the artist ever having to enter a instance name, or export for ActionScript name.
I plan to create a shell script which will take all the swf's in a folder and create a AS3 file with all the embed statements. The instance name that will be given to each one by the shell script will be the file name. Is this possible to embed a SWF and access it without giving any movie clips instance names or exporting for Actionscript? UPDATE: @annonymously answer below helped a lot. Here are some other resources that helped me: Great Resource - [URL]
I know this should be do-able, but i am stumped... I created a row of movie clip buttons + eventListeners (CLICK) with a for-loop. i now want to take an array that consists of a list of swfs (i.e., var myArray:Array=new Array(); myArray=["thing.swf","dog.swf",more.swf",etc}--and programmatically assign a loader + URL request to each of the created movie clip buttons that will load the swfs on the button click.

View 2 RepliesIs there a way to set focus to the embed HTML element using JavaScript? Test case: embedded YouTube videos on a page.
I have no control over the embedded Flash element. So, is there a way to set focus on it by using only JavaScript?
I read somewhere that calling the element.focus() method works only in IE. I need a browser-independent way that works in Chrome/Firefox.
