I am trying to embed a flash movie into a facebook (iframe) canvas. When i request the page locally to test the movie is embedded. When I view the same page via the facebook application url - the movie doesn't appear (but other page content does).

Are there any special tricks required to make a flash movie play in a facebook canvas application?
I am making a dynamic banner system which can handle img banners, as well as flash banners done with object/embed. The entire site makes heavy use of jQuery, including handling the 'click' events.
This obviously isn't a problem when it comes to tracking the clicks on the image itself (i track the click on the parent DIV tag. However, it fails when the advert is an SWF, as I suspected it would.Is there a jQuery workaround that would allow me to capture a click on a Flash element with the DOM?
I need to embed a flash application(that will access FB API from within) in Facebook Canvas page.If I use , some FB related details(like session key) will be automatically passed to the flash. But since, FBML is going to be deprecated, I want to use iFrame. Is there any way to pass those variable automatically or do I have to retrieve them in PHP and pass it to flash through loadvars?Also, if I have to do it manually, is there any documentation for the php sdk 2.1 ? (already searched about it a lot, and I think there is no doc nor tutorial for 2.1)

I have a small problem with a the Facebook sharer.php! I'm developing a small flash application (kind of slideshow) that will be embed into different website. In the application there is a button that send a request to Facebook to share a link. So based on the Sharer.php doc, I send a request like this :

The facebook page pops out, I see the correct title for 2 seconds and then facebook replace it with the title of the current page. Is there a way of preventing Facebook of rewriting the title that I chose? I know that I can use this in the head of my HTML document :

I am trying to embed a facebook video on my website but it gives "Video Unavailable. this video has either has been removed from facebook or is not visible".video is public to everyone, is not deleted and I can watch it on facebook via other browsers that I am not logged in. I am about to start a new project, a facebook app. There are two alternatives for client-side in my mind.Write Flex-Facebook app. Or write html with Ajax and Jquery.

We are writing a new social app that connects to FB using FB connect (actually, it's in Flash so we're using the FB AS3 SDK, which uses the FB Javascript API under the hood AFAIK).
When the flash app is served from our site - it works fine.But when we try to embed it in a 3rd party site (using an Iframe that points to our site) the following happens: when we try to perform a login to FB using the AS3 function Facebook.login(onLogin, opts), a small browser-based login to FB pop-up comes up, but it has the following error first

View 1 RepliesI'm currently building an application using the Adobe Facebook API and I've run into an issue where for the login method the Facebook login popup displays but when doing a Facebook share/post the popup is blocked.
This code works fine and displays me a Facebook login popup without question (Firefox):

However, the following code running in the same application throws up a popup blocker (again Firefox):

In my project at the moment I am using Nicola Hibbert's liteAccordion slider.I have it all set up and it's working nicely but the project needs to have a YouTube video on each of the slides.I have used the classic embed code from YouTube to get the desired result, In Firefox and other browsers it's all good, singing and dancing.In Chrome, tears stream down my face as it has totally broke.

Basically, inside a Flex app I'll have a button and when I click it I want a popup that enables me to post something on the wall. While it is possible to make a call to javascript to open the pop-up I want to be able to set the images and the text of my posting. How I could set the images or text as a parameter to the sharer window?

I want to redesign my site and make the movie smaller from the standpoint of making the canvas/stage size smaller. I don't mean just compressing the flash movie to a smaller swf. Is there some quick way to do this without having to recreate the movie and put in smaller elements?

I have a problem switching the content of a div using jQuery functions clone and append.
In a few words, I'm using two links to show and hide flash videos: link1 shows video1 and hides video2. Link2 shows video2 and hides video1.

Im trying to load a flash movie using swfobject which I have been successful in doing so however the flash movie takes a few seconds to load I wanted to show a simple loading animation however the animation never displays. I commented out the code that embeds the movie and found that the animation does get displayed.

I'm using the HTML5 JW Player. It sizes the HTML5 video correctly, but shrinks the Flash fallback player; here's an example page: Test Page
If you view that page in IE, you'll notice that on panel 5, the video is smaller than the space it's supposed to occupy. On Firefox, it works fine because it's using the OGG video in its HTML5 video player.Is there a way to resize the Flash video via JavaScript/jQuery to fit the same space as the HTML5 video?
Im working on a slideshow based on the jquery cycle plugin (found here: [URL]. The slideshow slides between different divs where I can put different content such as images and text. However i'd also like to add swf movies to the script wich just on a basic overview works. The video starts playing when the slide becomes visible but stops before it's done and goes over to next slide.
Of course this happens since i have a timer for how long each slide should be visible. What i wonder though is if there's a way with the script for it to dynimacly get the length of the video and not change slide until the video is complete and just do this for swf videos.
