I have attached two images of a part of the screen: one is taken with 16 bit color setting and the other with 32 bits. The texts are standard dynamic text fields.when i view the app at 32 bits all colors seem to be OK, but when I set it at 16 the textboxes seem to have a different background color, even though it's set to transparent!

however, the Adobe Flash Player Settings box keeps appearing when I export the file to view the movie. When you try closing it however the movie doesn't react to sound. I've tried taking out pieces of code to see which is calling the box up but it wither stays up or the movie doesn't function properly.

Jan 21, 2010"The specified module could not be found C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.DLL" is the message that comes up everytime I have Adobe Flash CS4 installed and right click near any file, just not in open programs. After right clicking and having this annoying message pop up, it restarts Windows Explorer. Whenever I uninstall the program everything's fine, however I want to use this product (free trial) but none of my downloads and installations of it (at least 5) have worked! I check for a VersionCue.DLL and I can't find it, also when I choose things like Action Scriptt 3.0 and 2.0 or any other selection at the start up menu, it freezes and quits!

I am trying to find all available API's that are available in the flash ocx. I am unable to find any documentation for the functions in the IShockwaveFlash interface.I know that Adobe doesn't have a documentation for using flash in VC++ but I was wondering if anyone can point me to a place where I can find an UNOFFICIAL documentation for flash.ocx or code samples as the only API that I could find and I'm currently using is "PutMovie".

Jan 31, 2011I've tried downloading the newest Adobe Flash Player 10 on IE8 on my Windows Vista and it's not working.It downloads but when I go back to hulu.com it says I still have to download the latest version. I've tried unistalling and installing it (several times)... I've made sure that Shockwave is enabled under Internet settings... I've also tried unistalling IE8 and reinstalling without the updates... and still nothing.I even tried installing Flash 10 on IE7, still nothing worked.
I have Windows Vista 32 bit and not terribly computer savvy.Hulu works fine when I use Firefox, but it's not working on IE8. I need it to work on IE8 in order to stream video from hulu on our Wii through PlayOn TV.

Jul 8, 2009I have a problem understanding the bitrate settings when trying to encode an FLV for Flash 8 or higher, using two passes. When you choose to use two passes, you are presented with a bunch of different options, including "Minimum Bitrate [%target]", "Maximum Bitrate [%target]", and "Bitrate Variability [%target]". These are not really explained properly in the online manuals I've seen out there. Let's say you want to have a Costant bitrate (CBR) of 900 kbps, and you want to have two encoding passes, what do you set the other sliders to?
The defaults are:
Minimum Bitrate [%target] 80
Maximum Bitrate [%target] 120
Bitrate Variability [%target] 80
Professional :: Adobe Media Encoder Export Settings Window Dimensions
Feb 8, 2011I'm on a macbook pro, osx 10.6, using CS4 Web Premium. I used to have an external monitor hooked up which had much higher resolution, so when using Adobe Media Encoder I'd click the Settings button on a video to get the Export Settings window, then stretched the Export Settings window to be the size of my external monitor. Now, I'm just using my laptop, and the export settings window does not have the resize buttons at top left to adjust it back to the size of my laptop, and the bottom third of the export settings window is getting cut off so I can't see the cancel/ok buttons etc.
I've tried re-installing media encoder (via reinstalling flash using the CDs) to try to 'reset' the window sizes, didn't fix the problem. If anyone knows of any other preferences or something I could delete to fix this,

It is required that all of the floating windows are contained within one native window, therefore the creation of more native windows is not suitable.
I have used a Custom HTMLHost class in order to enable the creation of a native window but I can't work out a way of creating a MDI window instead. I am using the flexMDI framework for my floating panel interface.

Apr 18, 2011I am having a problem with Flash.I get the message Movie not loaded if I right clich where the video should be.I may have set the hardware acceleration on/off by mistake, but I cannot get the Settings manager to open to check it.I am running Feroda rc14.If I go to http:[url].... and right click in to white area at the top, I get the message 'Movie not loaded' and the flash version - 10.2.159.1. This is where I should be able to open the settings window.Where does Flash store that info on my PC? How can I check it/change it without Settings manager?
