"The specified module could not be found C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.DLL" is the message that comes up everytime I have Adobe Flash CS4 installed and right click near any file, just not in open programs. After right clicking and having this annoying message pop up, it restarts Windows Explorer. Whenever I uninstall the program everything's fine, however I want to use this product (free trial) but none of my downloads and installations of it (at least 5) have worked! I check for a VersionCue.DLL and I can't find it, also when I choose things like Action Scriptt 3.0 and 2.0 or any other selection at the start up menu, it freezes and quits!
From an Adobe Air application, I need a function to launch the Windows Virtual Keyboard (c:windowssystem32osk.exe). I tried the Native Process, but it didn't work when telling it to execute cmd.exe /C osk.exe. How should I launch the keyboard application from an Adobe Air application?
I am trying to host a flash object inside an CAxWindow, I have managed to insert a shockwaveflash (SWF) and its working fine. I am trying to find all available API's that are available in the flash ocx. I am unable to find any documentation for the functions in the IShockwaveFlash interface.I know that Adobe doesn't have a documentation for using flash in VC++ but I was wondering if anyone can point me to a place where I can find an UNOFFICIAL documentation for flash.ocx or code samples as the only API that I could find and I'm currently using is "PutMovie".
I've tried downloading the newest Adobe Flash Player 10 on IE8 on my Windows Vista and it's not working.It downloads but when I go back to hulu.com it says I still have to download the latest version. I've tried unistalling and installing it (several times)... I've made sure that Shockwave is enabled under Internet settings... I've also tried unistalling IE8 and reinstalling without the updates... and still nothing.I even tried installing Flash 10 on IE7, still nothing worked.
I have Windows Vista 32 bit and not terribly computer savvy.Hulu works fine when I use Firefox, but it's not working on IE8. I need it to work on IE8 in order to stream video from hulu on our Wii through PlayOn TV.
The admin guide for flash 8/9 suggests there's a .msm (merge module) for windows? I'm not seeing a merge module for flash 10. Does such a thing exist and if so where?
I have a new i5 core computer running Windows 7 64bit retail. With Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 installed Flash CS4 becomes so unresponsive that it is completely unusable. Uninstall KIS and it works absolutely fine. I've already read on another forum that someone else is experiencing the same issue with the same combination of products.
Last week I allowed the latest Flash upgrade to be installed on my pc. And haven't been able to view any webpage using IE9.0.8112.16421 without all adverst or video screens flashing on and off. I can't make them go away. Also the video screen stays stuck in the top left corner of the screen, making it impossible to see or use anything under it.I uninstalled the Flash and reinstalled it. Still no joy.I tried to find the older - working perfectly - Flash version but can't find or reinstall it.
we're having a strange problem on a project here. When we use NetConnection in combination with a NetGroup to initiate communication between two local AIR applications on Windows XP, they always both connect to the NetGroup succesfully and detect each other as neighbors. These applications can connect and send message to each other without a problem on Windows XP. On Windows 7 however, they cannot.Does anyone know why this wouldn't work on Windows 7 and what steps can be taken to make it work? It's critical to our project that this works.In some cases, the applications take quite a long time to detect each other as neighbors (up to 15 seconds in some cases), in other cases they detect each other immediately. Is anybody else finding their flash website event.RESIZE isn't working in Windows 7?My website works fine when I run it at home in Vista, however at work in Windows 7 it just does not work and I have no idea why???! Is it possible for Adobe AIR (via AS3) to write events to the OS's event log? In particular, I need an event to show up in the the Windows 7 Event Viewer. I've tried using throw to throw a custom error, but it doesn't appear in the Application Logs.I know I could create a NativeProcess to do this, but I'm hoping there's a native AIR solution.
I would like to know, if there is any way to enable the following (at least in windows):
right-click on any file in local filesystem, choose sendTo and send the file to an adobe air application (for upload purpose for example). AIR can handle that via INVOKE Event, but how can I achieve this from the windows side - how can an AIR application register itself as a sendTo Option?
If I declare a window this way, and then call this.open(false);, the window will quickly open and then hide, and then be reshown when I actually display it, I want to do this to be able to load content and fit the window to that size before showing it.
I am making a preloader for a 360* product viewer and i'm having some trouble. the preloader works fine and when placed by itself loads the second the page requests it. but once i put it in my .fla project something causes the preloader to not load. and instead starts playing once the file is completely downloaded.

I just need to be able to just take 1 sides nearID and give it to the other. and then when the near tries to connect to the far, the far should return true and allow connection, then at the same time grab the connecting farID on its own with farID = subscriber.farID; (which works, i confirmed it's getting the farID) but when i try this code it just see it getting spammed with....

I am developing an Adobe AIR application which uses both native windows and floating panels. Is is possible to enable the creation of a floating window instead of a native window when a JavaScript window.open() function is called?
It is required that all of the floating windows are contained within one native window, therefore the creation of more native windows is not suitable.
I have used a Custom HTMLHost class in order to enable the creation of a native window but I can't work out a way of creating a MDI window instead. I am using the flexMDI framework for my floating panel interface.
When I try to create a tween for the blur, so it will blur into focus, the tween just wont work. I go to frame 130, keyframe, add blur filter, create clasic tween. But when i go to frame 131 it instantly pops into focus instead of going along the tween time span to blur in gradually(I have the next keyframe at 160).

Just a minute ago my .fla file can be played. But after several minute when I added movie clips and animations. It just crashed down I guess, Adobe Flash CS3 stop working. I'm using Microsoft Vista operating system. I have an antivirus subscription which is McAfee with automatic update. I think it's a virus or what? I dunno what to do. I got a long way already with my animation on my file. When I will start from the very beginning it would be a mess and it will consumed a lot of time.Four to five attempts of testing the movie:

FMS 4.5.1 Windows 2008 SP2 (64bit).We are deploying Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5.1 on a new server but Apache does not work (does not serve html files or stream Quicktime H.264 files).Assorted Problems & Error messages:
1. The webroot/index.html page loads locally, but the HLS/HDS streams result in a 2032 error.
2. The webroot/index.html page does not load from external locations:[URL] (does not load externally).[URL] (our old server, FMS 4.0 and Windows 2003). Everything on this server works, the 2 major differences being that it is running FMS 4.x on Windows 2003.
