Professional :: Windows 7, IE9 & Flash Not Working Together?

Last week I allowed the latest Flash upgrade to be installed on my pc. And haven't been able to view any webpage using IE9.0.8112.16421 without all adverst or video screens flashing on and off. I can't make them go away. Also the video screen stays stuck in the top left corner of the screen, making it impossible to see or use anything under it.I uninstalled the Flash and reinstalled it. Still no joy.I tried to find the older - working perfectly - Flash version but can't find or reinstall it.
I have a new i5 core computer running Windows 7 64bit retail. With Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 installed Flash CS4 becomes so unresponsive that it is completely unusable. Uninstall KIS and it works absolutely fine. I've already read on another forum that someone else is experiencing the same issue with the same combination of products.
"The specified module could not be found C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.DLL" is the message that comes up everytime I have Adobe Flash CS4 installed and right click near any file, just not in open programs. After right clicking and having this annoying message pop up, it restarts Windows Explorer. Whenever I uninstall the program everything's fine, however I want to use this product (free trial) but none of my downloads and installations of it (at least 5) have worked! I check for a VersionCue.DLL and I can't find it, also when I choose things like Action Scriptt 3.0 and 2.0 or any other selection at the start up menu, it freezes and quits!
we're having a strange problem on a project here. When we use NetConnection in combination with a NetGroup to initiate communication between two local AIR applications on Windows XP, they always both connect to the NetGroup succesfully and detect each other as neighbors. These applications can connect and send message to each other without a problem on Windows XP. On Windows 7 however, they cannot.Does anyone know why this wouldn't work on Windows 7 and what steps can be taken to make it work? It's critical to our project that this works.In some cases, the applications take quite a long time to detect each other as neighbors (up to 15 seconds in some cases), in other cases they detect each other immediately. Does anyone know what could cause this delay?
Is anybody else finding their flash website event.RESIZE isn't working in Windows 7?My website works fine when I run it at home in Vista, however at work in Windows 7 it just does not work and I have no idea why???! Essentially the bit that says portfolio works should stick in the top right corner on resize and the mute and sound button in the bottom left.
Has anybody had Flash player debuuger suddenly stop working for no reason whatsoever. What I've found so far: - No exception screens popping up.. in ANY browser. Reinstalled debugger version of flash player, no go. - Flashbug not showing in Firebug - No trace calls visible in FlashDevelop - Flash IDE behaves normal.. all trace calls visible - Firefox updated about the same time but problem seems to be on a wider scale This started approximately, on Sunday 8th Januray (or saturday).
Ever since I`ve changed to flash cs4, every windows projector publish I make takes a really long time to open and play an animation.I`ts just very slow. When I created stuff on flash cs3, I had no problems running published projects.
Can anyone help me here? It`s just that I searched for a lot of forum questions just like mine on other web sites and none could . Since your the developers os this product I would like to see what you`ve got to say about this.

ever since i got windows 7, my drawing wacom tablet lags on flash cs4 when i use the pencil tool and i don't know why it's doing that and i cannot see what i'm drawing because of this lag. I have updated my video card and my wacom tablet driver to windows 7 and still no luck. It worked perfectly on vista but i do not want to go back to vista.
I brought my son a mini laptop for xmas that runs Windows CE , some of the websites he wants to go onto require "flash" , but when I try to install flash laptop says its not a valid Windows CE file.
Is it right that I need to install "flash lite" if so what version and where can I obtain it as I cant find download link on this site. If not is there any other way I can get these websites to work.
I am using Windows 7 Professional and Flash CS4. I installed the flash player debugger, now I can't get rid of it. It slowed Flash down to a crawl. I ran the uninstall_flash_player found on this site. No effect. Flash is still really slow and still shows a ton of information in the output screen when I compile.
I'm writing a WIndows application that embeds Flash which I would like to control through the Windows buttons - for example start, stop... What tools do I need to do this and where can I get the info on how to make it happen? This is not a web app.
Hello Every Body. I have a problem launching flash cs5 and cs5.5 on windows vista home premium edition. When i launch it, the register screen appears(the one that tells the trial time left) but the flash main window always stays black (or white)and is not responding. I had it working about one week ago and i can't figure out what is the problem .It tried reinstalling couple of times without succes. I also tried deleting the left flash cs5 program files after uninstall but it didn't work . I would need your advice. Here is the screen as it appears:

I have received a CD Rom with an .exe file on it. I only have an old Windows XP box (from 2001) but it doesn't play on it Is that possible? Do I need to find a vista box?houldn't these flash exe files be XP compatible? I have and swf embedded into an aspx web page. I am using ExternalInterface.call to open windows using javascript Eeverthing is working fine when stage.displayState = "normal" all popup windows are diplaying behind the flash when stage.displayState = "fullScreen";Does full screen mode allow the popup windows to be displayed just like normal mode?
I checked the forum and couldn't find an idea on this.I have a Flash .exe and also a MAC .app for my project. I need to autorun these when the CD is inserted.If it were a single .exe and if i wanted to load it in windows machine it would be a piece of cake.But I have 2 files, and I wanna load it from a single CD. If the system is Windows I want it to load the .exe, and if the user system is Mac i want it to load a .app. How do I program the .inf file now?
am trying to figure out how to fix a problem. I have my computer hooked upto the television to watch shows and movies. However playing flash related content always freezes when in full screen mode. This includes if something is playing or if the movie has ended and the player is staying in full screen mode.I have tried on IE8, Firefox and Safari. It happens at random times and on all flash video players
I'm using CS4 to export a basic flash movie with embed tags pre scripted. And the issue is that on some OS systems using Vista or Windows 7 and IE 8 as a primary browser, it appears that IE 8 is not displaying the flash banner completely.... its CROPPING it off... This is very strange because the banner works fine in FireFox, IE7,Opera,Chrome but not I.E.8 on some OS systems...
If you google "Flash not displaying correctly in IE 8" you'll get alot of people with the same issues but no real definate fix...
what i could try? Do i need different flash embed tags? Or is this a user issue?
I've tried downloading the newest Adobe Flash Player 10 on IE8 on my Windows Vista and it's not working.It downloads but when I go back to hulu.com it says I still have to download the latest version. I've tried unistalling and installing it (several times)... I've made sure that Shockwave is enabled under Internet settings... I've also tried unistalling IE8 and reinstalling without the updates... and still nothing.I even tried installing Flash 10 on IE7, still nothing worked.
I have Windows Vista 32 bit and not terribly computer savvy.Hulu works fine when I use Firefox, but it's not working on IE8. I need it to work on IE8 in order to stream video from hulu on our Wii through PlayOn TV.
I am currently having a problem when launching the trial version of flash cs5.5 . The screen that says the timeleft at my trial comes up but the flash cs5.5 screen stays black and is "not responding". About two weeks ago, it worked, so i don't know what is happening. All my other programs work. Ok the issue I'm having with flash is that the windows on the right side of my flash window do not snap up when I collapse a window. I am attaching a screen shot to better explain this issue.As you can see I have the color panel collapsed up, when I expand this panel and it goes down everything shifts down. however when I collapse it back up a huge gap is left behind in CS5.5 as is displayed in screen shot number 2. In CS4 I never had this problem. I could expand and collapse panels as I saw fit with no problems what so ever. Everytime now that I expand a panel and collapse it, the library or other panels do not move up with the collapsing. This causes a workspace issue. and forces me to drag up the library via the black line that is just above it but below the align panel so that I have better access to my library or properties panel for when I'm working. I find this highly annoying and would like it if there could be a fix produced to make it so this collapsing issue can be fixed and I don't have to waste time dragging up the library/properties panel everytime I need to access stuff in my library when I have a huge list of graphics I'm going through.

I have problems with flash games and some advanced flash applications.Problems occurs regardless of browser.My computer is next:CPU: 2.8GHz hyper threadRAM: 1.5 GB (3 pieces)GPU: Nvidia 7600 GS Gigabyte.When it runs some flash game e.g. Facebook Pet Society, CPU load goes high as 80 to 100 %. It is very annoying thing since I am starting to loose my mind how to solve this.All other applications are running very good. This means games, 720p HD videos etc etc.
im trying to make icons for wlm (windows live messenger) in flash with 2 frames and the quality come out crummy when im saving the animated gif this is the original icon which is good quality:[URL]..
and this is what came out to me when i tried to make the animated gif while i did it strict saved it first as bmp so it will not lose quality[URL].. and finally saved it as animated gif and picked 256 colors which is max for gif how is that come? i asked someone and he told me that in flash the animation comes out very ugly and i should use software called "GIF Construction Set Pro" or something like this is that right? there is no other way to increase the quality or something in flash?
Can I convert a Flash file to Quicktime or Windows Media Player? If so....how? (Also, is swf the only file format on Flash?) I've been reading I need to download some converter to do this.
I am working on a modular application. The problem is that scrolling doesn't work with datagrid and AdvancedDataGrid even in a non-modular application on FF and Chrome on Windows, works fine on IE. On mac, it works fine with FF 4.0 and chrome. how to get it working on FF and chrome on windows?
