May 17, 2010I can't find in Windows where Flash CS5 save personal workspace..Photoshop and Illustrator save it in roaming vista folder but Flash?

Sep 19, 2010I see that the background music in my Flash site is located in a symbol called muz When I click the properties of this symbol, the sound file's location is listed as.flashsoundmuz.wav I couldn't find that sound sub-folder in the flash folder nor could I find the file. I tried doing a search to look for the muz.wav file in my computer but it could not be found. Does anyone know how I can find and save this file?

Feb 4, 2011I am on a MAC with two (2) user profiles.
When I launch Flash builder, I am getting a "workspace in user" message, and Flash Builder keeps prompting me to choose a workspace and it's pointing to the other user's profile.
I keep pointing it to my workspace under "my documents" and I check the following box:
Use this as the default and do not ask again.
However, every time I open up Flash builder, it's asking me again? Is there any way to stop this? Like, is there some file I have to delete or something?
Flex :: Find Workspace Location Using ANT?
May 13, 2010I'm working on a build script in the Flash Builder version of Eclipse. This build script needs to import launch configuration .launch files into the user's workspace. However there doesn't seem to be an available ANT var for determining the workspace location. While stepping through the available vars with intellisense I noticed that ${osgi.instance.area} does point to my current workspace but when I tried to echo it back in a running ant script it just spat out "${osgi.instance.area}" and not the path.

Jul 15, 2010I'm trying to use the native flex serialization/deserialization process to save/load state of a workspace in flex. In order to save or load a file I have to use my servlet, which just bounces back the bytes from the input stream to the output stream. Here's a basic outline of my Flex code:[code]So my problem here is not with the saving of the workspace. That works great. My problem is with the loading of a workspace. The event.data that I write to the byte array is not reconstituted into a MyWorkspace object even though it is exactly what I wrote to the file.There has to be a way of making a MyWorkspace object from the data, but I can't figure it out.

Aug 13, 2011The code below compiles fine on the Flex 4 SDK on Fedora 15. Mouse-click opens the dialog box, I click okay, and a file is saved, but the file is empty. I run the same SWF file (that was compiled on the Linux machine) on a Windows machine, and the created file contains the expected data. I was thinking there was a permissions problem, but if that were so, why should Linux even let me save the file? It is going to slow things down immensely if I cannot code something and test it on the same machine...

Aug 21, 2010Is it possible to arrange panels inside the Flash workspace, to have one panel at the top, wide 100% (the timeline panel). Then below it, have 2 columns: main window panel on the left and properties on the right.
From what I experienced, it is not posible with docking. Either you must have all 3 panels 100% wide, or you must have 2 columns from top to bottom, and within each of those 2 columns, arrange as you wish.

And haven't been able to view any webpage using IE9.0.8112.16421 without all adverst or video screens flashing on and off. I can't make them go away. Dec 30, 2009ever since i got windows 7, my drawing wacom tablet lags on flash cs4 when i use the pencil tool and i don't know why it's doing that and i cannot see what i'm drawing because of this lag. I ran the uninstall_flash_player found on this site. No effect. Flash is still really slow and still shows a ton of information in the output screen when I compile.

When i launch it, the register screen appears(the one that tells the trial time left) but the flash main window always stays black (or white)and is not responding. I had it working about one week ago and i can't figure out what is the problem .It tried reinstalling couple of times without succes. Sep 21, 2011I downloaded the trial version so I could work on the final project for class but for some reason when I tried to save it my computer froze up. Is this because the save feature is turned off for the trial version or was it just my computer? If I can't save using the trial version than I wasted memory on my computer and a lot of my time downloading the trial version that isn't going to be very useful to me.
