Professional :: Windows 7 - How To Uninstall Flash Debugger
Dec 27, 2010
I am using Windows 7 Professional and Flash CS4. I installed the flash player debugger, now I can't get rid of it. It slowed Flash down to a crawl. I ran the uninstall_flash_player found on this site. No effect. Flash is still really slow and still shows a ton of information in the output screen when I compile.
Has anybody had Flash player debuuger suddenly stop working for no reason whatsoever. What I've found so far: - No exception screens popping up.. in ANY browser. Reinstalled debugger version of flash player, no go. - Flashbug not showing in Firebug - No trace calls visible in FlashDevelop - Flash IDE behaves normal.. all trace calls visible - Firefox updated about the same time but problem seems to be on a wider scale This started approximately, on Sunday 8th Januray (or saturday).
i installed the demo of flash cs4 for mac and put it in trash.I tryed to install it now because i am thinking of buying and i get an error saying i have to uninstall using uninstall program. I did not do that and so i cant reinstall.
I just finished porting my AIR application to Flash. It works perfectly fine when I debug it via Flash Builder or when I load the enclosing HTML file in a browser that uses a debugging enabled version of Flash. However, it stops working when I load it a non-debug version of Flash. The "failure" seems to occur when the app tries to send a SOAP message request to our API server. That whole SOAP layer was generated using Flash Builder's Web Services class generation tools.
According to [URL], getStackTrace() is known to cause problems, so I disabled my calls to it but the problem still occurrs.
Brand new PC, Windows 7, worked fine for couple of days until I installed Flash Player 10 Active X - now the operating system continually crashes around after 5 mins each time I reboot.Error message"problem starting C:ProgramFiles(x86)NOSingetPlus_Helper.dllthe specified module could not be found"Having search the web, which suggested a possible problem with Flash Player 10 installation, I removed this downloaded this file: uninstall_flash_player.exe and ran to uninsall), but Adobe Download Manager is still in the list - trying to uninstall the DLM just gives the same error message as above.
I don't know why but i've got fla files that I can't debug.
I'm able to launch debugger and the swf file is correctly run when I do it, but if for instance I add a trace in my code and add a breakpoint on it, it will appear in the output but the debugger doesn't stop on the breakpoint.
It's a pretty big project that uses a quite numbers of external swc libraries, home produced for the most, and I can't figure where could this bug come from. All the more if I create a simple fla file with a simple document class attached to it the debugger works perfectly.
So if anyone already encountered the problem or got an idea over any reason that could make the debugger to not stop on breakpoint,
I'm just about to uninstall and reinstall at this point but I'm getting my install all screwed up trying to update Flash Pro CS5.5 to use Flash Player 11. I had it fine using the MXP provided in this adobe blog. Though that's 11.0 not 11.1. It did work however.
I downloaded the latest Flash Player / Debugger .exe and the latest SWC for 11.1 and now Stage3D is no longer being seen. Clearly I screwed something up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the MXP after deleting the FP11 XML and FP11 directory but it's not working anymore.
Is there a clear cut simple way to explain how to overlay the latest Flash Player for FPCS5.5? I used the AIR overlay instructions for 2.6 - 3.1 and it worked every time. Now I just need Flash Player overlay instructions. I'm very interested to start trying to Starling framework with Stage3D. I select FP11 to export and it tells me it can't find Stage3D.
I got a complete package of creative suite cs4. Even though I didnot want to install additional components such as Adobe Bridge, Adobe Drive, etc. They got installed with the package. Now I have CS5 available, and I don't want these to keep occupy the disk space, atleast not CS4.
How can I uninstall these components, I don't really use them too. I looked into my Control Panel, but there is no option to uninstall them. I am using Windows 7.
I'm having a very weird problem, I cannot flash CS3 on my mac, I tried uninstalling, manual uninstall, deleting all prefernces, installing under new user, everything that was mentioned in this document
[code]...
I have no idea why this is happening, I have a valid licence and I did everything as its supposed to be done, when I try to open Flash it gives me the error illustrated in the attched image.
Two weeks ago I've installed Adobe Flash Media Server to my development machine to digg it a little. But today, when I enter a url like [URL] in my browser (not in ie 8, just in firefox and chrome) it redirects to [URL] and open a page like below: I uninstalled flash media server, but it is not a solution.
I'm having difficulty debugging an ActionScript 3.0 project. When set to ActionScript 2.0, I'm able to debug just fine, but I'd like to use some 3.0 functionality. However, when choosing Debug > Debug Movie, the debugger launches (or at least the empty AS 3.0 debugger panels are displayed), but I receive the message "Debugger launch failed. Debug session will terminate.". Click OK and the debugger closes.
I just downloaded the Release and Debugger updates for the Mac CS5 Flash. However, the zip files only contained the Mac projector. Wouldn't I need to update the Windows EXE projectors as well? When I publish dual platform projectors I would like both to be up to date. How do I update the Windows EXE projectors on my CS5 Flash installation on my Mac?
Why is there no 'update' available to take the Flash Pro standalone and debuggers to FP11? There don't seem to be any Adobe authored instructions on doing it manually and I can't find an update. Have just upgraded from Flash Pro CS5 to CS5.5 on WIndows, it's telling me my product is now up-to-date, but the installed players are still on 10.
Ever since I`ve changed to flash cs4, every windows projector publish I make takes a really long time to open and play an animation.I`ts just very slow. When I created stuff on flash cs3, I had no problems running published projects.
Can anyone help me here? It`s just that I searched for a lot of forum questions just like mine on other web sites and none could . Since your the developers os this product I would like to see what you`ve got to say about this.

Last week I allowed the latest Flash upgrade to be installed on my pc. And haven't been able to view any webpage using IE9.0.8112.16421 without all adverst or video screens flashing on and off. I can't make them go away. Also the video screen stays stuck in the top left corner of the screen, making it impossible to see or use anything under it.I uninstalled the Flash and reinstalled it. Still no joy.I tried to find the older - working perfectly - Flash version but can't find or reinstall it.
ever since i got windows 7, my drawing wacom tablet lags on flash cs4 when i use the pencil tool and i don't know why it's doing that and i cannot see what i'm drawing because of this lag. I have updated my video card and my wacom tablet driver to windows 7 and still no luck. It worked perfectly on vista but i do not want to go back to vista.

I checked the forum and couldn't find an idea on this.I have a Flash .exe and also a MAC .app for my project. I need to autorun these when the CD is inserted. If it were a single .exe and if i wanted to load it in windows machine it would be a piece of cake. But I have 2 files, and I wanna load it from a single CD. If the system is Windows I want it to load the .exe, and if the user system is Mac i want it to load a .app. How do I program the .inf file now?

This includes if something is playing or if the movie has ended and the player is staying in full screen mode.I have tried on IE8, Firefox and Safari. It happens at random times and on all flash video players
