ever since i got windows 7, my drawing wacom tablet lags on flash cs4 when i use the pencil tool and i don't know why it's doing that and i cannot see what i'm drawing because of this lag. I have updated my video card and my wacom tablet driver to windows 7 and still no luck. It worked perfectly on vista but i do not want to go back to vista.
View 2 RepliesI created a flash video with interactive menus using Encore.The .swf file played fine from my laptop computer.I copied the .swf file and its associated files to a micro SD card and tried to play it from a Samsung Galaxy Tab (7 inch tablet, Wifi only version) but it would not play.I searched the web and it appears that the Galaxy Tab will play flash videos off the web, but will not play them off-line (that is, stored on the device locally). I want to preserve the interactive menus.My goal is to be able to play videos with menus, off a small 7" tablet with a bright and contrasty display Overall, I liked to Samsung Galaxy Tab, but I returned it when I could not figure out how to play .swf videos stored on its local memory.

There's an example at [URL]. My other issue is more of a web design issue, but the animations are not placed correctly on the webpage.
View 2 RepliesI'm using Flash MX, but these movies might have been saved for Flash 4 (what I used to use). I'm using IE and I have tested on other browsers and it seams to have the same problem. I have two small flash movies playing as part of my site design but when I scroll, this clearly lag creating a 'white box' where the movies should be until they move. I'm pretty sure the lag is with them two movie clips. My site is at [URL] (it's on the main site that I have the lag). They are Flash 4 Swfs.

My game is working fine on windows in all browsers(locally & on server) and it is also working fine on Mac in safari & firefox but game is completely unplayable in chrome on Mac.Is this because of memory leaks in my game or is this the problem of chrome on Mac.And how can i trace memory leaks in my game. View 3 RepliesWhen I'm watching larger videos (> 15 min) on the internet via flashplayer or divx, after some minutes, the video quality begins to decrease (like the video starts lagging). When I now press the pause button and resume the playing after a short period of time, like 10 seconds, the video quality is again like normal for another couple of minutes, but then the video quality again decreases, so I have to pause again for some seconds.
My question is, from a software design point-of-view, why does the pausing stop the video from lagging? I thought it could be because the software gets time to refresh its caches, but I would be really interested in the correct answer.
Ever since I`ve changed to flash cs4, every windows projector publish I make takes a really long time to open and play an animation.I`ts just very slow. When I created stuff on flash cs3, I had no problems running published projects.
Can anyone help me here? It`s just that I searched for a lot of forum questions just like mine on other web sites and none could . Since your the developers os this product I would like to see what you`ve got to say about this.

And haven't been able to view any webpage using IE9.0.8112.16421 without all adverst or video screens flashing on and off. I can't make them go away. Also the video screen stays stuck in the top left corner of the screen, making it impossible to see or use anything under it.I uninstalled the Flash and reinstalled it. Still no joy.I tried to find the older - working perfectly - Flash version but can't find or reinstall it.

This works great in all of the computers that I have tested it in except a tablet PC (HP 2710p is the only tablet I have to test on, but I hear the same behavior happens on all tablets). The scale mode is set to exact fit, but I have tried the other options as well:

I brought my son a mini laptop for xmas that runs Windows CE , some of the websites he wants to go onto require "flash" , but when I try to install flash laptop says its not a valid Windows CE file.
Is it right that I need to install "flash lite" if so what version and where can I obtain it as I cant find download link on this site. If not is there any other way I can get these websites to work.
I am using Windows 7 Professional and Flash CS4. I installed the flash player debugger, now I can't get rid of it. It slowed Flash down to a crawl. I ran the uninstall_flash_player found on this site. No effect. Flash is still really slow and still shows a ton of information in the output screen when I compile.

When i launch it, the register screen appears(the one that tells the trial time left) but the flash main window always stays black (or white)and is not responding. I had it working about one week ago and i can't figure out what is the problem .It tried reinstalling couple of times without succes. I need to autorun these when the CD is inserted.If it were a single .exe and if i wanted to load it in windows machine it would be a piece of cake.But I have 2 files, and I wanna load it from a single CD. However playing flash related content always freezes when in full screen mode. View 1 RepliesI'm using CS4 to export a basic flash movie with embed tags pre scripted. And the issue is that on some OS systems using Vista or Windows 7 and IE 8 as a primary browser, it appears that IE 8 is not displaying the flash banner completely.... its CROPPING it off... This is very strange because the banner works fine in FireFox, IE7,Opera,Chrome but not I.E.8 on some OS systems...
If you google "Flash not displaying correctly in IE 8" you'll get alot of people with the same issues but no real definate fix...
what i could try? Do i need different flash embed tags? Or is this a user issue?
I've tried downloading the newest Adobe Flash Player 10 on IE8 on my Windows Vista and it's not working.It downloads but when I go back to hulu.com it says I still have to download the latest version. I've tried unistalling and installing it (several times)... I've made sure that Shockwave is enabled under Internet settings... I've also tried unistalling IE8 and reinstalling without the updates... and still nothing.I even tried installing Flash 10 on IE7, still nothing worked.
I have Windows Vista 32 bit and not terribly computer savvy.Hulu works fine when I use Firefox, but it's not working on IE8. I need it to work on IE8 in order to stream video from hulu on our Wii through PlayOn TV.

The screen that says the timeleft at my trial comes up but the flash cs5.5 screen stays black and is "not responding". About two weeks ago, it worked, so i don't know what is happening. All my other programs work. View 1 RepliesOk the issue I'm having with flash is that the windows on the right side of my flash window do not snap up when I collapse a window. I am attaching a screen shot to better explain this issue.As you can see I have the color panel collapsed up, when I expand this panel and it goes down everything shifts down. however when I collapse it back up a huge gap is left behind in CS5.5 as is displayed in screen shot number 2. In CS4 I never had this problem. I could expand and collapse panels as I saw fit with no problems what so ever. Everytime now that I expand a panel and collapse it, the library or other panels do not move up with the collapsing. This causes a workspace issue. and forces me to drag up the library via the black line that is just above it but below the align panel so that I have better access to my library or properties panel for when I'm working. I find this highly annoying and would like it if there could be a fix produced to make it so this collapsing issue can be fixed and I don't have to waste time dragging up the library/properties panel everytime I need to access stuff in my library when I have a huge list of graphics I'm going through.
