Just wondering if anyone's got Dropbox-as3 to work in flash pro 5.5.
I've been trying for a few days now. I've attached the as3 I've adapted from the authors Flex example. I've removed my key and secret from the attached.
My current error is ""Invalid app key (consumer key). Check your app's configuration to make sure everything is correct."
"The specified module could not be found C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.DLL" is the message that comes up everytime I have Adobe Flash CS4 installed and right click near any file, just not in open programs. After right clicking and having this annoying message pop up, it restarts Windows Explorer. Whenever I uninstall the program everything's fine, however I want to use this product (free trial) but none of my downloads and installations of it (at least 5) have worked! I check for a VersionCue.DLL and I can't find it, also when I choose things like Action Scriptt 3.0 and 2.0 or any other selection at the start up menu, it freezes and quits!

I am making a preloader for a 360* product viewer and i'm having some trouble. the preloader works fine and when placed by itself loads the second the page requests it. but once i put it in my .fla project something causes the preloader to not load. and instead starts playing once the file is completely downloaded.
there are only two frames. the first frame just has the preloader movie in it. the action code for the preloader movie is:

Anyone familiar with using Cirrus? [URL].. I'm having the hardest time getting the onPeerConnect object to work the way it should. I just need to be able to just take 1 sides nearID and give it to the other. and then when the near tries to connect to the far, the far should return true and allow connection, then at the same time grab the connecting farID on its own with farID = subscriber.farID; (which works, i confirmed it's getting the farID) but when i try this code it just see it getting spammed with....

When I try to create a tween for the blur, so it will blur into focus, the tween just wont work. I go to frame 130, keyframe, add blur filter, create clasic tween. But when i go to frame 131 it instantly pops into focus instead of going along the tween time span to blur in gradually(I have the next keyframe at 160).

I'm using Microsoft Vista operating system. I have an antivirus subscription which is McAfee with automatic update. I think it's a virus or what? I dunno what to do. I inspect the microsoft dialog and views the problem, it says APPCRASH, Flash.exe and has several .dll and other components did not load.
I gone thorough the adobe flash builder video tutorials and did the same thing to create an application for android device, but when i run the application it is showing Sorry dialog box saying that, The application Test1-debug(process air.Test1.debug) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I tried many times but it is not working. Initially i thought no Adobe-AIR in my device, but it is there. I am using Reliance 3G Tab. I don't why it is not working, if anybody know this please reply me.
One more thing, i downloaded one APK (which is designed with adobe flash or flex) file from [URL]..and installed on my android device. When i run that application only blank screen is appearing, but in video they shown, it is working. Why it is happening like this?? Is any problem with my tablet ?? or application ?? or adobe AIR not installed properly on device ?? Like this i am getting too many doubts.

What I have to do is upload some images to a server, which is OK, but before uploading I must downsize this images by reducing their quality and width/height. I've found many information about the class JPGEncoder, but I couldn't make it work.

View 12 RepliesI am trying to set the softKeyboardType to email but when ever i use skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" it doesn't change it but when i take off skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" it does work. The problem is i need the skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" class to allow my application so scroll with out it the text does not stay with in the bounds of the text input boxes. Has anyone seen this problem or another fix the the scrolling problem?

This normally handles the install of air if the user doesn't have it already installed.
However, after doing some cross broswer testing, it appears that when a user, (using OSX Lion and Safari or Firefox) tries to click yes when prompted to download the required Air they are unable to click either of the yes or no buttons.
I initially thought that it may have had something to do with the positioning so ensured that the z-index in the css was appropriately set but to no avail.
I beleive it may have something to do with the installer itself rather than my implementation as the same thing appears to happen on TweetDeck too.
How can i make the Augmented Reality applcation on Android mobile phone (HTC Nexus One) that i have developed using the flash platform faster, since flash doesnt support OpenGL for 3D graphics. I have some shared code between an Adobe AIR App and an Adobe Flex App.
On one line of this code, the program must behave differently depending on if it is running within the Air runtime, or the Flex runtime.
How can I programmatically detect the difference?

I have a weird problem,Flash banner is working "clickable" if the page url have preceding "www" and not working if not,So the if the URL in the address bar was [url]... the banner will be clickable and will redirect you to the link embedded in it, if the URL was [url]... the flash banner will not be working.
