I'm testing HTMLLoader class. But it seem that Flash does nothing when I use Adobes example with Flash CS5 and AIR for iOS:

I'm using AlivePDF to create a PDF file, then save it to the desktop. I can then use an HTMLLoader to display my lovely PDF file.
Now, the print button in Adobe Reader works fine. However, there will be young children using the app, so I'd like to have a big "Print" button right above it. I figured I could just start up a print job and feed it my HTMLLoader. This won't work because the HTML loader rasterizes the content.
Lets say i have a html file that contain a form:

After loading this Swf file using Loader inside main application, text boxes are readonly and can't type in it. But we can change focus of them using Mouse.

After right clicking and having this annoying message pop up, it restarts Windows Explorer. Whenever I uninstall the program everything's fine, however I want to use this product (free trial) but none of my downloads and installations of it (at least 5) have worked! I check for a VersionCue.DLL and I can't find it, also when I choose things like Action Scriptt 3.0 and 2.0 or any other selection at the start up menu, it freezes and quits!

I am making a preloader for a 360* product viewer and i'm having some trouble. the preloader works fine and when placed by itself loads the second the page requests it. but once i put it in my .fla project something causes the preloader to not load. and instead starts playing once the file is completely downloaded.
there are only two frames. the first frame just has the preloader movie in it. the action code for the preloader movie is:

What I have to do is upload some images to a server, which is OK, but before uploading I must downsize this images by reducing their quality and width/height. I've found many information about the class JPGEncoder, but I couldn't make it work.

I don't know where to begin to interrupt the HTML GET-ting process in actionscript. This is where I suspect I can add the HTTP filter. It'd be nice to subscribe to the filter and periodically download it/update it to make sure the major ad networks are blocked.

2 .Passes clickTAG params into banner.swf
3. Listen for the click on the clickTAG

When I try to create a tween for the blur, so it will blur into focus, the tween just wont work. I go to frame 130, keyframe, add blur filter, create clasic tween. But when i go to frame 131 it instantly pops into focus instead of going along the tween time span to blur in gradually(I have the next keyframe at 160).
View 3 RepliesI am trying to set the softKeyboardType to email but when ever i use skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" it doesn't change it but when i take off skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" it does work. The problem is i need the skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextAreaSkin" class to allow my application so scroll with out it the text does not stay with in the bounds of the text input boxes. Has anyone seen this problem or another fix the the scrolling problem?

In my project I want to load one html page in one of the canvas areas. I am using HTMlLoader to load my page. My web page loads successfully in the canvas area.
The problem is that when I click on the links embeded in the html page that I have loaded, they do not open in my browser window.
There is a property of HTMlLoader "navigateInSystemBrowser" which need to be set to true to allow the embeded links of the page to open in a default browser window. But this property works only in Flex 4.0 I tried running the same thing a sample project using Flex 4.0 as the SDK and it works perfectly fine. But when I work with Flex 4.5 SDK it does not works.
I created an application with Flex and it open large PDF file, so when show PDF file it is too slow. Anybody, who know a solution which open PDF in background with HTMLLoader?

I'm using Microsoft Vista operating system. I have an antivirus subscription which is McAfee with automatic update. I think it's a virus or what? I dunno what to do. I got a long way already with my animation on my file. When I will start from the very beginning it would be a mess and it will consumed a lot of time.Four to five attempts of testing the movie:

After several minute, test the movie again:
error msg: Flash CS3 memory overload, I dont know the exact error message.
I inspect the microsoft dialog and views the problem, it says APPCRASH, Flash.exe and has several .dll and other components did not load.
We use a custom Air Install badge to install / launch an Air application directly from the website simillar to
TweetDeck
This normally handles the install of air if the user doesn't have it already installed.
However, after doing some cross broswer testing, it appears that when a user, (using OSX Lion and Safari or Firefox) tries to click yes when prompted to download the required Air they are unable to click either of the yes or no buttons.
I initially thought that it may have had something to do with the positioning so ensured that the z-index in the css was appropriately set but to no avail.
I beleive it may have something to do with the installer itself rather than my implementation as the same thing appears to happen on TweetDeck too.

The page is an intranet page within my company's domain.What I would like to do is to take the HTML/text in the HTMLLoader component and convert it to a string so that I can list it out in a textArea. I want to parse the text to grab information like names and phone numbers etc. I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious.
