1. The old main logo was not as wide as the new one, so now the entire new one is not clickable (to take you back to the main page). How do I fix this?
2. For the life of me I can't figure out how to make text (or a button if need be) link to a specific flash frame. If you look on the site, there are a couple of spots under "What We Do" that I need clickable to take them to the Contact Us page.
I have a website that I originally began to design in flash but later started developing new pages for it in html. The flash part of it has several pages on different frames and I have created links from the flash part to the other html pages, but, I can only link the html pages back to the main flash home page, and not the other pages in the flash part of the website.
View 1 RepliesI am trying to make a text link within a scroll box jump to another frame within the same Flash file. Is this possible without having to make a button or movie clip? For some reason if I insert an object like a movie clip or button in the scroll box, it appears in a different area when I publish the file so I can't use that option for links.
I need to be able to highlight the text and then program it to jump to another frame label.
What I am trying to do is get a button to make a movieclip go to a specific frame. I have a movieclip that plays a set of frames up to the 100th frame, and then I tell it to go back to and play frame 1 again. However, at about 105, I have another set of frames that I want to play at the push of a button. How would I go about doing this?

I get errors of varying sorts. What should I use? AS2 or AS3? And what code should I assign to the button (or that button's frame?) to get it to go to frame 2 once clicked?
I Want to have a button info_btn. Now i know how to make a button and link it to a scene/frame.
But what im asking is, i want the button to display something (text field or movieclip(doesn't matter )) but I do not want it to go to another scene or frame if you know what i mean ? i want it to display there and then on the same scene and frame with a button to close it.. Is this possible?
What I want to do is have one movieclip that has many frames and turn that into a button and then make different instances of the button and have those instances display a certain frame of the underlying movieclip.

I am able to pass a variable from an html link that loads a separate html file and instructs the swf embedded file to go to a specific frame. But - I now need a link within an swf file on one page to open a new page and tell that swf to start on a specific frame and it is not working. I'm unable to make it work :Flash exports the first frame in the SWF file as a PNG file, unless you mark a different keyframe for export by entering the #Static frame label.When publishing the fla, the png is build from the frame that is currently displayed in flash (if my timeline is at frame 3, frame 3 get exported)
View 2 RepliesIt's about a live support chat. When a member wants to contact me, the chat is ringing (so this swf audio file starts playing). Whenever swf audio alert starts, I get a link: "user X wants to chat, click here to respond".
After I "click here" a new pop up window (the chat) opens, but the swf audio keeps playing without ever stopping, it's like answering the phone, talking but still ringing.I tried the function doStop(); - not working. View 0 RepliesI have a files that is loading and parsing a huge amount of data from a csv file and creating and plotting a graph using the data. All is well if I have the file loaded on the first frame of the movie. But if I pass in the URL by entering the file name in a text input field and clicking a button. The X and Y axis values disappear as do intermittent notes placed above the bar graph. I still see the x and y axis and it's hash marks and the bar graph (shapes) but all of the text is gone.

View 1 RepliesI've created a movieclip that is supposed to begin the movie with a rotation (it's a globe) and at a specific frame it should beginning to fade out. I've inserted the folowing code to the rotation and for this action it is working perfectly

But, when I try to insert any other line for the _alpha, a sintaxe error occurs and the rotation doesnt works.
