I want to finish my flash, but only need a banner. I download a flash banner maker from Sothink SWF Easy, the site is [URL], which is free trial version, I like its templates very much , but there is a watermark "easy flash banner maker" at the back of my flash banner. Who once used this tool? Is there any method to remove such watermark?
create a watermark that fades into my videos 20 or so seconds in, then fades out after another 10 seconds.
Here's what I've done so far in Flash CS4:
- Import Video
- Pointed the "player" to an external URL for the video.
- Selected a generic Skin
The video plays well, all is in order.
Now, to add a watermark to the player. I figured you'd simply import the new animated SWF file, then write some Actions to tell it when to fade in and fade out. Not that I know how to do that at all .
I'd even be up for other options, if this simply won't work I've thought of pushing all my videos through a third-party program to brand the video with an animated watermark, is there such a thing?
For the past few hours I've been trying to figure out a way to add a watermark to an image file before uploading it using the FileReference.upload(); method. The uploading works already. I just have to figure out how to get a small watermark (PNG image with alpha-transparency) on the lower right of the image file. Another thing is, I don't want to modify the source file. I just want to add the watermark on upload.
What approach would you recommend for this type of setup? I also can't seem to find any pre-made classes already that I can use for this certain thing. Is this not a very common task? And no I can't use server-side (PHP) to do the watermarking because I'm communicating directly to a service's API, not through my server.
I'm going to broadcast a esports tournamet on our website. And I want to add my partner's logo onto the corner of the streaming video. How can I achieve this?
Also, how can I make the streaming flash player display an offline image when the streaming is offline?
I use an SWC component that adds watermark image and context menu on right click. The component is very expensive ( 3, 000 euro!). Is there some way to remove the right click context menu?
I am building a SWF and the goal is to load in an external SWF file and then display that within my container. They are totally unrelated items and I do not want to modify the functionality of the item I am loading in. My SWF will briefly display a watermark overlay, but then disappear. Can anyone guide me into this best way of doing this?Also, is there anyway to get the properties from the SWF I loaded in (namely height and width) so I might be able to easily adjust the size of my SWF to match?
how to overlay a picture/watermark onto live stream published from a client? (like TV stations do).Can this be encoded into the stream in realtime by FMS so client could not record/view a clear stream? (for example overlay watermark for non-paid subscribers).I don't want to do this on client side because then someone can build custom app to play a stream without the overlay. Or is FMS4's SWF Verification so good, that I don't need to be worried?
I have tried to put main.asc sample file on my live application, removed main.far file and restarted my FMS, after that, i couldn't use FMLE on it, it generates an error !how to put properly the main.asc on FMS 4 (it works good for FMS 3.5)
I was trying to intergrate two game flash files that I created, by combining them into one file (on one timeline), but was having issues with making my timer stop...As the lesser of two evils (or so I thought) I decided to load one of the games into the other file on a particular button click as an external .swf. This solved the timing issue, but now.I dont know how to get rid of the .swf once im done playing it and ready to move on with the original game.I need some buttoncode (AS2) to remove .swf on button click.
ps. button code to load .swf looks like this... on (release){ LoadMovieNum("racing_part1_me.swf",2)[code].....
I have a large swf that is embedded in Director as a sprite I now want to put it onto a web page, so file size is critical Is there a way to remove unused library items when publishing so that file size is reduced? Is there another way to compress the swf so it is much smaller?The current size is about 25 Mb.What about streaming the swf?I'm not talking about streaming video or audio, just any Flash content.In Director, there is a way to right-click on a cast member and choose "find in score".If something isn't found it means that it either is not used in the movie or is implemented through code

I managed to load in an external swf file okay however, I need to be able to remove it when the user clicks a link to go back to the homepage. Below is my code: Code: Select allstop(); var imageRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest("gallery.swf"); var imageLoader:Loader = new Loader(); imageLoader.load(imageRequest); addChild(imageLoader); home_link_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, homeLink); [Code] ..... I assumed it was as simple as removing the child but it still remains. I get no compile errors or anything.

I am having issues with trying to insert a "mailto" link in a flash file. I can create the text no issue, but as soon as I add a link to the text it removed the "dot" and the @ symbol from the url and scrunches all the letter of the email address together, sometimes to the point where some of the letters aremissing. The first image shows the url on the stage, the second image is a test of the scene. It is very frustrating and I don't know how to fix it. I have deleted the entire line and redone it, but still no joy.
I imported a logo into Flash 8, and it has a white box around it. How can I remove the white space in Flash, or if I have to do it in another Adobe product, how do I do I export it so that it will import into Flash without the box.
I have a problem with this code:[code]There are two overlapping objects on my stage: character_mc and vanish_mc. As soon as i start the scene [Ctrl+Enter] vanish_mc is VISUALLY removed. But the code still sees a collision somehow. How can i Entirely remove the object vanish_mc?
I have a videoDisplay object in a popup.When I remove the popup the video continues to play.How do I remove the videoDisplay object from memory?I have tried setting the variable to null but with no luck. I can just call the stop() function and forget about it but am wondering whether this won't come back and bite me.
i created 5 pages, each of which contains several movie clips (text, graphics, forms, etc). There is one specific page however that contains autogenerated content via. sprites. If i happen to land on this page, the sprites will appear, but when i transition to another page, they are still there except for the non-sprite stuff (disappear). Im ripping my hair out on this one, i managed to get a few of the sprites to remove but some are still appearing. Below shows the layout of the one thats not being removed;
Anybody any ideas on how to remove children from stage using AS3 if I store the reference to the objects in an array and they exist in different locations i.e they are not all children of the same parent?
I seem to be running into some garbage collection issues. I'm making an RTS game with a side scrolling map. I have a "game" layer on the stage which scrolls left and right, all the troops, vehicles, bullets, etc are within this layer. If I scroll the game layer to the far side of the map from some tanks placed at the other end, the tanks disappear. I can only assume flash is "helpfully" removing objects it thinks are too far away form the action to be of use any more. I'd rather it didn't.
I was using a friends iphone the other day to view my site, I have a flash banner at the top of my site. When you view the site on a iphone you get the flash logo, does anyone know a way to remove this banner & logo when it is being viewed on a iPhone?... That way I could display a image instead, Pls don't just say remove the banner, I like it and i want to keep it. (it looks good when its not being viewed on a iphone).
I have an AS2 swf that loads FLV videos into a FLVPlayback component and attaches a seekBar component. When the video stops I unload the seek bar from the screen and set the FLVPlayback.seekBar = null. When another video is to be played I set up the seek bar again by attaching the seekBar component to the stage and assigning FLVPlayback.seekBar = newSeekBarInstance.
[Code]...
What Im noticing is that sometimes the seek bar is removed from the screen and sometimes it isnt? I cant seem to notice any pattern here. Has anyone had similar problems? Do I need to force garbage collection?
I need to remove every object that is part of an array from the stage. What I have right now only removes one of the objects.
this.removeChild(enemyList.splice(0)[0]);
I've tried several variations of this with either the same result or an error. Also, what is the zero in hard brackets for? I haven't seen that in many tutorials/explanations, but when I take it out, I get all kinds of errors.
I use this piece of code to create some eyecandy of debree falling. When an object is destroyed i spawn some rubble and let is fly over the screen. But... when i use this a lot, slowdown is there and even when all the objects are gone the slowdown stays. The good old 50fps won't come back anymore
public function destroyBlock(xPos,yPos,nrObjects) { for (var debree = 0; debree < nrObjects; debree++) { debreeObject = new mc_ground();
I have some code in ActionScript 2 similar to the below snippet (Item being a MovieClip):[code]I'm unable to remove Temp after swapping the depth (works fine otherwise).[code]how to get rid of Temp?
