Flash :: Animation Through Css3 Transition?

I need to create an animation which is trigerred when the cursor hovers over it. The animation is an acronym which expands to its full form, eg when I hover over "CSS3" . it should expand to "cascading style sheet" with ascading appearing in between the letters "C" and "S" with the letters coming one after the other will it be possible only through CSS3?Editor notes, I presume he means, like the new letters are typed, rather then just appear all at once)

so I have a looping animation that is several frames long. Inside the animation is a button, when pressed I want to go to another part of the timeline, where another animation is waiting. Simple, I got that working no problem. But... I need the first animation to go to the last frame in the loop before starting the next animation. The way I have it now makes an ugly cut, and the transition between animations isn't seamless.

I have a bookmarklet that has rounded corners. When using the bookmarklet over the top of a flash website and even a pdf document (I think) etc. Rounded corners appear as transparent squares.

i dont claim in any shape or form claim to be a Flash Activist, but apart from its obvious annoyances and discrepancies, any fool can see its couple of uses, that are in a big way reasonably important to the right consumer and website. There has been a lot of talk that HTML5 and CSS3 is the future of the web, so much so that ie9 is actually going to heavily incorporate it (Yes, you read it, internet explorer may be half decent), i know i was as shocked as you are right now.
But what are there key features (technologies, advances , whatever you wana call them) behind HTML5 and CSS3 that allow the possibility of Flash becoming obsolete despite Adobe constantly trying to improve the Flash platform, and if so why are they bothering?

I am not new to flash. I am making an image transition animation. But when i move an image from one point to another point that in x or y position it gets shaky and image animation is not smooth at all. I am just trapped that what do? i have tried the image in different qualities and resolutions but dont know how to do it.
I am attaching the shaky.zip file. Im using motion tween to animate the image.

I just started developing in "Flash Builder 4" (flex framework) and I just can't figure out what the development process of animating characters should look like. My goal is to animate (standing - walking - jumping ...) a simple character like the stick figures in the game "Stick War" [URL]. I know there is a technique to do so by shape tweening in the Adobe Flash tool by using keyframes. But what I can't figure out is how to do it in Flex. Also it would be nice to get a description of a workflow from drawings to animation to code. Especially how to encapsulate the animated character in a class that manages the transition from e.g. running to jumping.

does anyone know how to disable that slide animation and just have the action bar instantly change to whatever action bar the next view contains, but still do a slide navigation for the rest of the view. My Action bar doesn't change on every page so seeing the same image reload repetitively in the action bar.

i have a flex app that transitions between 2 states with the toggle of a button. my issue is that the effect of fading only seems to work on the 2nd transition and after. However, for my first transition... going from State1 to studyState... there is no fade effect whatsoever, in fact the components in state1 disappear completely (the footer fills the empty gap where the "body" use to be) and then the flex recreates the studyState (without any fade refilling the "body" with components only in studyState). After this first transition however, going between studyState and State1 working COMPLETELY fine.. why does this happen and how can i make it so that crossfade works STARTING FROM THE VERY FIRST TRANSITION?[code]

I have a presentation using the "presentation" template that comes with flash. I am trying to transition slides with the behavior slide transition options. but I've learned that it works find while going into a slide and doesn't go to the next slide when leaving.So basically I want it so that on right arrow first play out transition then go to next slide.

I am trying to create a page transition that will play a movieCLip transition into a page. and then it stops then when another button is pressed, it will play that transition out while loading the appropriate one. In the attached FLA, if you click on the red button first, the blue transition plays,

and then stops on the stage. When you click the green button second,

it works correctly/ Playing out of the blue Transition and into the Red transition. However if I click it again it does the opposite, and just keep alternating.
If I add the
_root.transitionClip2.play("out");
to the first button then, nothing works right. I will eventually have more buttons, and may need to use a variable to control which "out" transitions is played, but how do I get the buttons to do this?I just want it to exit the current movie clip and play the "in" section of the desired clip.

i have looked everywhere for a tutorial on this - i have tried writing, and re-writing codes....i just cant get it. is there any tutorial i overlooked? here is what im looking to do - NO SHORTCUTS: have my main file that loads the buttons, my external swf container, my intro animations, and my swf "out" and "in" animations when a button is clicked i want it to point me to specific frame labels. i will have an "out" and "in" frame label and which will be the locations of the transitional starting points i want it to play the "out" transition, than unload the current swf, than play the in transition, than load the swf of the button that was clicked i want the animations to all be done using frame labels all within the MAIN swf file.... i have had no luck doing this....and i do NOT like the tween class....

I made an animation in Flash which I want to embed in Flex using SWFloader.
I've imported the tweener class (caurina.transitions.*) to tween a rotation. The animation runs perfectly in Flash.
However, when I embed the animation in Flex, the tweening is gone.
Do I need to import the tweener class in Flex?
I use Flash Player 10 (latest version), Flash CS4 Professional version 10.0.02, IE8 and Flex Builder 3.

I have a certain set of motion twains that I've successfuly completed, they constantly loop right now (default), and is saved in the SWF file.I'd like to take that finished looping animation, and insert it within another animation (a) that can be played with a play button, and stopped/resetted with a stop button.How do I insert the completed looping animation into the main animation? And is there something special I have to do in the actionscript of the start and stop buttons so that the "inner" looping animation will start and stop with the "outer" main animation?

I have a movieclip that shows an animation onRollOver and an animation on RollOut but onRelease the animation enlarge itselfs but now when I'll roll out when the animation isn't open (so i didn't release) the animation plays the animation for the minimizing of the animation. I created a Flash-XML photo gallery and the transitions are all working on all browsers except for Safari 4.0.3 with Player 9.0 (i tested with 3.1.2 with Player 9 and works ok).I used _alpha functions to fade in/out photos and tracking the _width & _height of photos to position them on center of the screen etc. I've noticed on Safari 4.0.3 that photo's are not positioned where I want them - so I'm guessing the width and height are not determined (or could be any other reasons). Transitions also not working, instead of gradually fades in, the changes are abrupt.
