Flash5 : Wix Flash Transition Copy?
Aug 10, 2010[URL] is where the page is located but i want to copy the transitions between pages into my own flash document and i have literally no idea where to start. I have flash cs5.

Oct 7, 2011A web channel streaming service streams to a certain IP range, it only checks the IP in example.com/cmd.php?id=xxx (channel number) and outputs an rtmpe stream URL, nothing else.How do I trick it to get my local URL instead of the one on their server? I have considered squid proxy, but is there some way to do it with a firefox plugin or greasemonkey script?
Edit:I will try to specify:It's a streaming service from an ISP and cable provider. They stream for free to people on their IP's. On their webtv page, which is called webtv.example.com, there is a flash player. If you are not on an IP from their ISP, you can't stream anything but the test channel.When you try to change channel via. javescript:videoplayer_changechannel(xxx) it makes this HTTP request:

If you are on one of their IP's you will get an RTMP URL, like this:
[URL]
This is what the flash player requests, and if it get's this response it load the channel requested. There is no HTML on the php page, just the URL. Note that the rtmp URL is static.If you are not on one of their IP's it will return a random sentence (something stupid, the programmers having fun).I wan't to trick the flash player into getting the right value, even though it's not on one of the ISP's IP's.

Flash5 :: Gather Multiple Flash Movies Into One Moviefile?
Apr 7, 2009I'm using flash CL4, and here is the thing:I got a few minigames that I made in flash, each is a separate file, and now I've made a new file which is gonna be the menu to navigate between them. What I want is that a user can press "game1" button, in my menu flash file and he get to my game1 flash game. Likewise with game2, game3 etc.
How do I do this? is it possible to import my flash games into this menu file, and still get it clean? I tried doing it, but it gets very messy with all the timelines and such.Or would it be easier to just do a URL link and redirect the user to the different files when he press one of the game buttons?
Flash5 :: Image Forces Flash Page To Left?
May 13, 2011I purchased a Flash template and went into edit it in Macromedia Flash CS5.
I imported an image into the library and swapped the image with an image that was in the template I bought. The image I imported into the library is is a little longer and wider than the image I am replacing. Yet it still fits nicely on the page visually.
When I upload the SWF and HTML for the flash site that I just changed the image in, the flash site hugs the left side of the display screen and is not centered. Also the scroll bar on the right is no where to be found.
I then uploaded the original Flash SWf and HTML I bought without changing the image, the flashsite stays centered on the screen and there is a scroll bar on the right. So I decided to make another image the size of the one I was trying to replace in the flash template. I swapped the image out after bringing the new one into the library with import. Still the same problem.
The original template said pre-school and was trying to change to Inspire pre-school with a logo. A picture file that zooms in on the screen.

Aug 17, 2010I'm trying to create a little adventure/flash movie game.. where you click around on things and something happens, but the main idea is a little quest where you trade items with few NPC's around the game to get to the end..
As an inventory I have plain drawn inventory, and invisable items/movie_clips on it, that only go visible once the NPC's did action of giving you them and making it visible in your inventory spot (I know, stupid but I'm a noob).. The reason for this is cause I wanted the Quest Items to be as Drag/Drop items while giving to NPC's, not just press/dissapear routine thing..
What I'm having problem with is, saving quest items the Character got from the NPC's.. (in other words they dissapear once the character goes back to the FIRST scene/frame of the game) What I'm looking for is a code that can check if in previous scene/frame were those movie clips visible or invisable, and apply that to the next scene.. so that the items/movie_clips wouldn't dissaear when switching between scenes/frames..

May 18, 2010i have a flex app that transitions between 2 states with the toggle of a button. my issue is that the effect of fading only seems to work on the 2nd transition and after. However, for my first transition... going from State1 to studyState... there is no fade effect whatsoever, in fact the components in state1 disappear completely (the footer fills the empty gap where the "body" use to be) and then the flex recreates the studyState (without any fade refilling the "body" with components only in studyState). After this first transition however, going between studyState and State1 working COMPLETELY fine.. why does this happen and how can i make it so that crossfade works STARTING FROM THE VERY FIRST TRANSITION?[code]

Apr 23, 2010I am trying to create a page transition that will play a movieCLip transition into a page. and then it stops then when another button is pressed, it will play that transition out while loading the appropriate one. In the attached FLA, if you click on the red button first, the blue transition plays,

and then stops on the stage. When you click the green button second,

it works correctly/ Playing out of the blue Transition and into the Red transition. However if I click it again it does the opposite, and just keep alternating.
If I add the
_root.transitionClip2.play("out");
to the first button then, nothing works right. I will eventually have more buttons, and may need to use a variable to control which "out" transitions is played, but how do I get the buttons to do this?I just want it to exit the current movie clip and play the "in" section of the desired clip.

May 14, 2011I tried modifying the sound in Action Script but now I do not get any sound on the webpage, only hear the sound in preview on flash editor.It was looping sound on the web page and I did not want to have surfers having to hit the stop button. But I did want it to play just once.[code]

Jun 22, 2011I'm having Trouble seeing files once they go online. Everything was just fine yesterday. But now whenever I export a file and upload it, it can't be viewed. They run just fine on my machine but when uploaded I get the "need newer version of Flash" message. And when I try to just load the swf it comes up blank. My older SWFs still work great, just the ones I exported today that are having problems.

Oct 11, 2009i have looked everywhere for a tutorial on this - i have tried writing, and re-writing codes....i just cant get it. is there any tutorial i overlooked? here is what im looking to do - NO SHORTCUTS: have my main file that loads the buttons, my external swf container, my intro animations, and my swf "out" and "in" animations when a button is clicked i want it to point me to specific frame labels. i will have an "out" and "in" frame label and which will be the locations of the transitional starting points i want it to play the "out" transition, than unload the current swf, than play the in transition, than load the swf of the button that was clicked i want the animations to all be done using frame labels all within the MAIN swf file.... i have had no luck doing this....and i do NOT like the tween class....

Nov 3, 2003I've got a very basic fla file which actually worked on flash5 but it's no more working with flashmx 2004. A movie clip move from a position , let say A, to B, then to C.
I insert a stop(); action on B, so the movie stop. Inside the movie entitie I insert a button with the command play() (I have also try _level0.play() or nameofmovie.play())I expected that the movie continue playing from B to C but it does nothing..
