checking if there are fontWeight or fontStyle in the substring

May 18, 2011I have a script that always returns iframe HTML back to flash. I was looking to get help on how to build some RegEx code to only find the URL. I would only like this substring so I can use it in another script.Here is the iframe code the I want to search for and return the substring:

The problem is when asp (probably php too) reads this string, it reads it like this

Now this sucks, is there a way to encrypt my flash string so asp will read the string corectly? I know asp is url encoding the flash string, but this bit of info does not seem to help.

If I find this url string I want to pre-pend the a href tag <a> and append the closing </a> tag to the string so that this link will be clickable from the textfield.

Dec 26, 2009I'm doing a flash game to go with this song on a band's website (sweet band, by the way (url...)), and the song would be playing during the game, and I want certain events to go with the beat of the song, and that would be so much easier if I could get a metronome on my flash project, and I'm running into problems with that.
I can't get an object to flash exactly 154 times every minute, because the song plays at a constant rate of 154 beats per minute. It's always a little bit off, so that after about 30 seconds, it ceases to be on beat. The object that I want to blink is called "blinker." Here is my actionscript:

Mar 23, 2011I'm having huge issues with Flash CS5 11.0.2.489 (even to see the version, I had to open the dialog box several times in order to see the version, WTFFF...). I'm working on Mac OS 10.6.6 64 bits. Sometimes Flash freezes (very often) and I have to reboot. Sometimes it goes down on its own.... And when I'm working on my Macboo pro, it just go down 10 or 20 times a day !!!! Sometimes, when I double click on a movieclip and come back to the scene, there is no movieclip left... They have all disappeared. Have to reboot.... And as this F*** software is a piece of ***, I try to save every 5 minutes, but saving takes a loooong time. And in a day, it can be a matter of 1 hour lost..... On the previous versions, I had no real problem.
Flash CS5 is just a pre-alpha version or what? The bug report site should have so much report that mines are surely not read. So I'm here to beg Adobe to do something quickly. This is just not a software made for production.

Audio - Same Flash File (.swf) Downloaded Multiple Times On A Page
Jun 17, 2010I have a page that has a table with each row corresponding to an audio file. The last cell in each row embeds a simple flash audio player. The problem is that the flash file for the player is being downloaded for each row separately and as soon as rows go beyond 40-50 it crashes the browser.
I tried using different players (1pixelout, flash-mp3-player) and the problem is still there, so its not a player specific issue.
Is there any way to cache the player so that it is only downloaded once?

Sep 28, 2010It seems that the loading process times out sometimes and it freezes the flash.To prevent that from happening, I thought about adding an onLoadError which loads a default image in the Library so that the slideshow continues what it was doing even if an image can't be loaded. Flash :: Professional - Looping A Movie Clip A Specific Number Of Times
Jul 8, 2011how to get a movie clip to loop a specific number of times in Flash? I know how to stop a movie clip from looping by using the this.stop (); command by placing the command in a separate Action Script layer, in a keyframe, inside of the movie clip's timeline. This allows the movie clip to play through once and then stop. But I need for the movie clip to loop more than once, maybe 2 or 3 times, and then go back to the main timeline.
Also, is it possible to place a pause (I'm guessing, maybe by using a timer of some type?) between the loops, so that the movie will pause a couple of seconds before it loops again and then stop? Please note I do not need the movie clip to stop when there's an event like a rollover or anything. I just need it to play a couple of times, pause between plays and then stop and go back to the main timeline.
