Jquery :: Slideshow With Transitions Between Images And A Flash Animation?

Creating a jQuery slideshow comprised of several images with transitions is easy. But I'm trying to have a Flash animation (SWF) stand in for one of the items in the slide show. In other words, I'd like to see transitions between the following: We've tried several of the jQuery slideshow plug-ins, but the Flash animation doesn't play well -- for example, if we use a simple dissolve transition, the Flash never disappears

Previously I've done all the monkeywork by hand on the timeline, but now I need to make an automated slideshow for an image portfolio that collects pictures from an external folder (1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc...) so I can just upload variants of the image without having to change the flash file each time.
I'm also hoping to include fading transitions and an easy way to change the amount of time each image is on screen.

Im working on a slideshow based on the jquery cycle plugin (found here: [URL]. The slideshow slides between different divs where I can put different content such as images and text. However i'd also like to add swf movies to the script wich just on a basic overview works. The video starts playing when the slide becomes visible but stops before it's done and goes over to next slide.
Of course this happens since i have a timer for how long each slide should be visible. What i wonder though is if there's a way with the script for it to dynimacly get the length of the video and not change slide until the video is complete and just do this for swf videos.

Is it possible to switch an animation FLASH to an animation JQuery? I am actually using [URL].. the problem is IE.. With big animation IE is very VERY slow and we can't abuse it. I would like to know if there is any other pluging i could use and it is working with IE 7+.

How to do a simple slide shows that plays automatically and has transitions in between pictures, can some one direct me in the right direction. So far I have 1 picture that does a transition and it has this action code inside the same frame where the picture is placed at. The pictures were converted into movie clip symbols.

I only have 1 layer. It works fine, but when I try to put two pictures and test the movie, it does not play automatically, why is this?

I have created a website (too static) using Dreamweaver along with Photoshop. I created a nice Header but would like to know how (tutorial/and or programs if possible) to make the images transisiton. Ex. [URL] website when you click on a link in the menu different images transition in the header. My website has a company logo with 3 images but the header remains static as you click on all the links.

I'm currently working on a project where i use SWFObject to include a flash header (some fire animation). Also I'm using jQuery for serveral animations and effects on the page, like Imagesliders and hovering effects.The problems I got:high CPU usage: about 50% on a Intel Q9550 low frame rates of jQuery animations due to the high CPU usage.The flash animation seem to stuck when i trigger any jQuery animations or effects.I tried to remove serveral jQuery animations and simplify the page, but also with only an hover menu, the flash animation stucks and the jQuery animations are laggy when hovering the menu.The only browsers where my page runs smooth are Chrome and Opera, but only with high CPU usage. FF3&4 and IE7-9 produce bad frame rates all time.I tried to reduce the jQuery internal fx interval, that seems to help, but the animations were not smooth any more. Am I the only one having this issue, i could not find any other postings here with that topic?!url...We changes the graphic card of the computer, from a GeForce 8400GS to a 8800GT. After that, the animation run smooth. I never thought that it would be the graphic card ^^

I made a little animation for a client. Its a repeating movement of a cat. The flash-file works great and shows an endless animation without interruptions. But after I integrated that animation, it plays the animation wrong. It sticks on some point. Heres the code and the link:

I have a couple flash animations I made for some websites, not too complicated mostly timeline animation and I am getting the same problem when I embed them into the html. The flash covers the jQuery drop down menu when you hover over the navigation. I did not create the navigation and it is behind a CMS.

I'm trying to create a simple yet effective image slideshow for my homepage. It'll be a bar, 600 pixels wide, by 300 pixels high. There will be 4 buttons that will line the bottom, numbered 1 through 4, that will control 4 separate slides that'll appear in that window. If you don't click anything, the images will fade in and out after x amount of seconds. Clicking on the numbered buttons will load the appropriate slide, and each slide when clicked will take you to a certain part of the website.
I wish to do this in actionscript... not using the timeline as I prefer to do all transitions in actionscript. Can anyone shed light on how to set this up? I've been trying to use the TransitionManager function... however I'm getting mixed results. Here's a screenshot:

Forgetting about my last post: This code currently makes it so each picture will fade from white. What I'm trying to do is make the slideshow so that each picture transitions into each other, instead of from white.

I have a Flash video which sits in a small box on the side of my website and plays video.When the user clicks on a 'View larger' button I need it to display in a lightbox - but continue playing from the same place.A simple piece of jquery like this works fine to move the video to another DIV (such as a jquery UI popup window).

However in Chrome + FF it restarts the video from the beginning - basically it reinitializes the <object>.My solutions are either : Position it absolutely with CSS in the first place and move it to the popup with CSS and some nasty JS event resize handlers. Remember the position and just instantiate a new video player and make the user live with the delay of rebuffering

I'm doing photo gallery and like to enlarge an image when I click on it with some animation like it's in flash (the picture slowly expands first by x-axis and after by y-axis and the space around the picture dims), that it scales to it's largest possible size to fit in screen, but it can be any other animation. I found some topics about this, but I don't want to use any 3rd-party plugin (including flash, drupal...) to do it. Maybe it can be somehow done by jQuery...

I have a web page with an image slideshow. JQuery calls a Flex app with a list of jpg images to load and display. Can Flex load and display the first image and then continue loading the rest of the list or can Flex only do one thing at a time (i.e. load all the images and then start the slideshow)? There is a significant delay while all the images load and I need to sped up the slideshow.

I am using an external actionscript file, and I have dynamically loading images that stay on the screen for X amount of seconds (the user can set the value of x), then it loads the next image. However, this user would like for there to be a transition, For Example, have it fade out and have the next image in line fade in after the image has been displayed on the screen for X amount of seconds. This user would also like a loading bar, much like the one on the flash banner here: [URL] between each image transition.
I also have it so when someone hovers over a button, the flash banner stops, once they rollout X is reset to 1 and starts the counter again, and sets the movie to play at frame 1. Here is the actionscript file: [URL]

it loads the images and text from xml. I need this to load in two images simultaneously, 1 picture and 2 the color bar over it.. becuase each slide needs to have its own color.
I added a node in the xml file shown in red here.

Can transitions be added to a source code that uses includeIn and excludeFrom to show/hide elements? It seems that elements are hidden immediately not allowing enough time for the transition to be played.
In this documentation article, a method with visible and includeInLayout properties is used but that would mean I would need to rewrite my MXML code which I'd rather avoid.

I'm in the middle of building a simple flash slideshow, using alpha fades between images. I have three layers, the first one being text, on the timeline for each layer/image. The other two layers are images, small footprint (sized and optimized in photoshop, each less than 100k). When I hit the Enter key it will play on timeline but the preview and fla file just won't start, hung up on the first frame.

I am wondering if anybody can tell me how to create a picture PUSH. I have three images that I wish to work with. By pushing I mean having an image come in from the left (or right) and place itself on top of the other (or pushing the other out of view). Like a slide show of three images scrolling along but one stops for a brief period before the other image comes into view.

I'm trying to do the following to a flash banner, I'd like to know if it's possible and how I would code it/do it.
1. Unlimited amount of slide support. The banner must look for 01.jpg, 02.jpg, 03.jpg... etc. Let's say the current slidshow has 4 photos, they want to be able to just upload another image and create a new .as file to make it appear in the flash slideshow.
2. each link must be in its own independent script. For example 01link.as, 02link.as, 03link.as etc.
