I am trying to embed audio players in a drop-down content tooltip. I will eventually have lots of these on a page.My problem is this:When I close the div the sound continues to playI can also make them play at the same time.I would like them to autostart when you open the div, but when I do that they both start at once before you've even activated the drop-down content. I would rather not do the whole site in flash.
so I have 3 swf's that im loading with buttons into the main swf. The thing is that these 3 external swf's have embeded flv's. when switching between the swf's with the buttons, im using vid1loader.unload();the only thing is that while the video switched to the other video like it should, the audio keeps running on any number of videos(swf's) that are loaded. My question is how do you stop the audio when using simple Loader and URLRequest to load the swf's?
I'm interested in why flash audio players need <param> parameters, when without them and only with <object> they work nicely.I have also read many posts here about audio flash players, but I can not find any good one.
I have a flash player that plays an MP3 from my website. On one of my pages i have around 20 of these flash players embeded on the website. i've seen on other websites so when the user presses the play on flash player #1 and then while that's playing, they press play on flash player #2, it would first pause and stop flash player #1 and then start flash player #2 and so on.
I'm having a bit of a problem here. My audio is still playing when my swf is removed. I tried using unloadAndStop(); but this isn't working for me (either that or I'm not putting it in the correct spot. The code I have is from a template I downloaded, I didn't actually write all this. with this:
I have a web site that displays a column of flash videos. The page is w3c-valid. The problem is that the page loads very slowly and sometimes crashes my web browser. Until the page is fully loaded, the videos are slow to respond and play. Is there a way to make these videos load their preview images only? What should I do to speed the page up? The videos are 360x264.
I am working with the open source flash player at [URL].. and I am trying to figure out how to limit one sound file at a time. I know this has been done on a number of sites but I am unsure how to approach it.
Scenario: A page has five different instances of the flash player. The user is litening to one song but clicks on another to listen to it.Goal: The first audio file automatically stops while the second starts playing instead of both playing at the same time.
Do I need to have some sort of javascript handler than interacts with the swf or something?
So I'm trying to get sound on my flex application. Then tried to load an swf movie with only audio in it.But when it loads on init(), it loops non-stop.Here's a sample code:
im using this player [URL] for my site and i am also using [URL] i have 2 instances of advanced player in one page and the backround player. I want to pause the other players when one of the 2 advanced players are playing, something like that: if myadvancedmp3player1 is playing (if i press the play button), pause myadvancedmp3player2 and pause backround_music. if myadvancedmp3player2 is playing, pause myadvancedmp3player1 and pause backround_music
I'm working on a project which involves usage of the same font on few loaded swfs. These are 95 base symbols and 11 more (specific for my language). Now i have them in library as movie clip. Is it possible to somehow share it ? Or export them and then reload to swfs? I've did a lot of searching but nothings really doing it right.
I am currently working on a project that i need to have multiple flv players all displaying the same video simultaneously. I noticed that this causes a delay on the webpage when loading and the video doesnt start simultaneously for each player, so i guess the same video is loaded over and over again. Is there a workaround to that so i can load the video once and play it on the 3 players simultaneously??
var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();nc.connect(null); var ns:NetStream = new NetStream(nc); var ns2:NetStream = new NetStream(nc);var ns3:NetStream = new NetStream(nc);
I'd like to use the same music player displayed multiple times on the same page, one for each song. But when songs are played, I want the existing play to stop. For example:
song1 song2 song3
I click to play song1, while it's playing, I decide to play song3 instead. Based on the default setup, song3 will start playing while song1 continues to play. I'd like song1 to stop when song3 starts.
I am working on a project where i need to support multiple players and platforms to play videos. Major Platforms will be: Windows PC,Mac PC,Apple Devices and Android. This is the precedence i will be following. First it will check browser support for Silverlight 3 or later then Flash then HTML5. If not any one of them is supported user will be asked to installed Silverlight. I wanted to know which pattern and strategy i should use in order to support this functionality. Currently i have investigated about some javascript api that can do this detection on client side easily and load the player appropriately.. but as many of browser could be without javascript support so this method will fails to play videos. Is there any way I can do this detection on server side and inject proper Player HTML on client end?
I want to have a number of scenes with video players on each. Pasting means I get problems with duplicative functions. I am okay with creating new instances, but still run into duplicative functions (like onMetaData) I just can't seem to get around. Is there an elegant way of telling flash at the beginning to create all new nc, ns, etc?
Below is partial code (the part that is the problem). // Video setup var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection(); nc.connect(null); var ns:NetStream = new NetStream(nc); ns.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onStatus); [Code] .....
I am currently working for a highscore system for my games website. and i have written the code for that. it only displays 1- players. i want to display overall top players when i click on top players url and want to display the monthly top 10 players when i click on monthly top players url.How to do this. i am trying since 2 days. i am struck at this point. kindly do look into this. the code as follows. I had this same issue when I created an application using google's javascript API and the solution was to have closure on the callback function creating the multiple markers.I can not seem to find an example for making multiple custom markers, with anything other than using some random math function to create the multiple markers.
GlobalVars is a class that contains static public var types to keep up with however many addressess, lats, lngs, etc...I have tried using markermanager but it has some issues that I finally just gave up on. Starting with
This is where I begin geocoding by address, rather than using an httpservice, as I was doing before, but I ran into issues of one httpservice result would return faster than another, which would in turn place the wrong data with the wrong marker.
Obviously, I have not found a solution, because this way is doing the same thing.Question being, how can I retrieve multiple markers info and keep all the markeroptions in order with the information being returned.
Here's the code:
public function makeMultipleMarkers(destinationAllObj:Object):void { removeRouteMarkers(); myMarkers = []; GlobalVars.myIcon = [];
I am working on a video conferance projectthere will be a lecturer and an interpreter.interpreter will write the translated text simultaneously.what I am trying to is add vocal translation but I also want to keep the original audio is it possible to attach multiple audio to netStream or do I have to create another netStream for 2nd audio??
i started with a Multiple mp3 players project and i more complicated with that - as you see in the picture i try to do that when click on the play button for every song this switch the song that selected -first preloading + percentage the mp3 file and after play it immediately and of course there is stop button, pause button when choose a song the previously that play will be muted
Is it possible to play multiple sound files using a single sound object? (I've looked into this back when I was using Flash CS3, but I want to know if anything has changed.)
(I'm trying to make a playlist which will play music in the background of my SWF movie and then have a frame where users can change the song and the volume.)
I'm currently working on a project which involves importing audio streams and visualising them within Flash. At the moment I have two files, one which can import all of the streams at once, continuously and another which visualises just one of the streams using an example animation I found which will be replaced at a later date. My problem is connecting the array to the visualisation so that all of the streams interact with it and affect the animation. Below is the code I have for the multiple streams with no visualisation file.
Code: var stream_arr:Array = new Array( "mtl2.liveatc.net/kbur", "bos.liveatc.net/6b6", "m1.liveatc.net/kbwi_belay", "aus.liveatc.net/kccr", "mso.liveatc.net/zob_cle", [Code] ..... Note that I have removed the "http" from all stream addresses due to my low post count.
And here is the code I currently have for the file which can visualise only one stream, rather than the multiple I would like. Code: stop(); function goBack(evt):void { gotoAndStop(1); this.removeEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,spectrum); } var snd:Sound = new Sound(); [Code] .....
I have a page that has a table with each row corresponding to an audio file. The last cell in each row embeds a simple flash audio player. The problem is that the flash file for the player is being downloaded for each row separately and as soon as rows go beyond 40-50 it crashes the browser.
I tried using different players (1pixelout, flash-mp3-player) and the problem is still there, so its not a player specific issue.
Is there any way to cache the player so that it is only downloaded once?
The following AS3 code is sometimes causing the audio to play multiple times, almost simultaneously like a crazy echo. It usually works ok with that URL but when I use a [URL]... it always freaks out. On rare occasions I think the issue has happened with local files even. I copied this code from somewhere else so I don't entirely understand it. Do you see a problem with this implementation or is Flash just crazy?
I am new to flash and have created my first flash video, a simple set of fading photos for my website front page.I am using Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks all CS3, The flash video is embeded in the webpage and works fine in preview mode in Dreamweaver but does not appear at all in the uploaded webpage. The flash video works fine through the link on the webpage.I have uploaded the AC_RunActiveContent.js script to a scripts folder and to the folder where the webpage is and also the folder containing the flash video file.
Does anyone know for certain whether any version of the Flash player is contained within MS Vista/IE7? I have read conflicting opinions but I cannot find any specific reference to Vista/IE7 actually containing the Flash player.
MS WinXP has the Flash 6 player bundled by default, so I was hoping that MS would do the same with Vista/IE7, just a newer version.
How do i keep a embedded video from trying to display fullscreen? I have a flash movie [I'm using it as a presentation] and in it i have a video [embedded as FLVPlayback] when i run this in flash player in full screen mode [the flash player not the flash file]. when it gets to the frame with the video the video tries to run in fullscreen. I just want it to run with in the flash file that is running fullscreen.
I have my html where I embed third-party flash video by means of iframe. When I click play on the video a popup is opened. I was wondering id there is a way to add a javascript function to my html that would close such a popup immediately when it is opened?
